X-Loves: From Another World
Chapter 1: The Future

A clear night in the equatorial sky. You can see a very clear and clear sky here. This is not the past. This is the future. Where's pollution? Almost nothing at all. In the future, there is almost no pollution. Thanks to the technological sophistication that exists today, almost all problems can be resolved, both exact and social problems.

Tonight is quite a peaceful night in the capital of this Moluccan Province. Sparkling lights of skyscrapers dot the skyline of Ambon Bay. Not to forget also with the magnificent Red and White Bridge in the middle. Yup, Welcome to Indonesia in 2105.

It's actually a great night to relax and enjoy a cup of hot coffee on the veranda, but that's not the case for Team Alpha Project Ambon Institute of Technology. They are a combination of students from the department of mechatronics, electro, and informatics who are developing a megaproject that they claim will ‘collapse dunia’. Through the hard work and creativity of the smart young people, they managed to create technological innovations that will make it easier for humanity to carry out its activities.

The team of 50 people is led by a young Moluccan European missionary named Alistair Sahilatua. This blond young man was known to be a very intelligent student, especially in the exact field. At the time of High School, he almost always got perfect grades in the subjects of physics and mathematics. During the UNBV or Virtual Based National Examination, he also scored perfectly on both subjects. And now he is a leader in the technology innovation project he has long dreamed of with his team.

In addition to his intelligent brain abilities, he was also assisted by a partner of his hand and his right hand, a Javanese girl named Dwiana Septianti. His ability to read conditions made Alistair choose him as his partner.

In addition, there was a feeling in the depths of Alistair's heart towards Dwiana. Often in various moments when he happened to meet with Dwiana, he always turned his eyes, as if he did not

alistair was able to stare into the cold eyes of Dwiana. Until now, they also still have no certainty to establish more relationships with each other, despite the many rumors circulating among students, included in the Team Alpha Project itself. Alistair prefers to finish the project this time.

That evening, February 7, 2105, the Team Alpha Project will present their findings to the public and government officials. Just at 7pm in front of the main hall of the Ambon Institute of Technology, state officials were already sitting there waiting for the event. Visible Minister of Research and Technology, on his right there is the Minister of Communication and Informatics, Minister of National Education, Governor of Maluku, and Mayor of Ambon. Unfortunately this big event was not attended by the President of the Republic of Indonesia who was previously scheduled to attend, but suddenly canceled his plan because of something, said his aide. But it did not dampen the team spirit to promote their innovation.

At exactly 8pm, the show began. As in most cases, the event starts with a welcome. Starting from the speech by Menristek, the Governor of Maluku, and the Rector of ITA. Backstage, the team is preparing. But unfortunately the head of the project, Alistair Sahilatua seemed nervous to make a speech and present his discovery. Cold sweat was evident from his face.

“Huff, how is this? What should I tell them? Beta is not good at stringing words,” said Alistair. He used to use the word ‘beta’ to state the word ‘aku’.

“Then Ali, relax. Improv can too.,” Kevin calms him down.

“not as easy as you say, vin.”

In the midst of the panic, Dwiana tried to encourage Alistair.

“Ali, don't panic. I'm sure you can. Since this is your project, try to tell them what you think of this project. After all the main message of this event ‘kan the introduction of the tool, not the opening words. I'm sure in that case you must have mastered it,” Dwiana told Alistair.

“Thank you for the advice, Dwiana,” said Alistair, but it still seems not enough to calm his mind.

“AYO ALL, LET US SHOW YOU OUR ROLE AS AGENT OF CHANGE.” David cheered them up while cheering.

The core event begins. Alistair prepares his improvisation in a speech. He breathed and walked to the stage. Unfortunately, about five steps of his foot stumbled and he almost fell. The spectators who saw that suddenly fell silent holding back laughter, although some could not bear to laugh. Meanwhile Alistair was silent withstanding embarrassment. I heard some people whispering.

“look, who fell,”

“oh, so he's the leader of this project?”

Meanwhile, his project friends also expressed.

“haduh, this Ali guy, looks really nervous,” whispered Luthfi.

“Bae it, the important thing is he ‘kan dah trying, hehe..” said Galih.

“Ali...” murmur Dwiana.

Although quite embarrassing, but the small incident did not make the blonde-haired young man discouraged. His facial expression looked cold, although it was indeed deep in his heart that he must be ashamed.

But as a professional, he hid his negative expression. He also began his speech.

“Goodnight, greetings to all of us. My name is Alistair Sahilatua. I am the leader of this project.”

A two-liners said from his dry mouth. Seemed eloquent Indonesian pronunciation for someone who has foreign blood. But unfortunately some of the guests are busier with its AI-Gadgets. For information, AI-Gadget itself is an Android today with a variety of features that have been perfected. The tool, first developed by a Singaporean technology company, has a variety of forms, such as Smartphones in the 2010s, Smart Glasses, Smart Watch, and other unique forms. It seems like some people are playing a game

through Glasses. Some of them are trying to capture this moment. Meanwhile, two three people were sleeping in the back. Even so, Alistair continued to speak even though he was known to be less capable in public speaking.

About five minutes of time passed, some of the invited guests began to feel bored. But Alistair with his intelligence managed to attract their attention by raising his voice and straight into the core of the event.

“Good. Without further ado we introduce, our new project.”.

Some team members took two strings attached to the curtain as a cover for their great invention. Led by Kevin on the left and Herlin on the right, they pulled the rope. Finally the curtains opened.

Everyone, including some of those who are too ‘busy with their own world’ was amazed to see the results of their discovery. The governor of Maluku was seen taking off his glasses and rubbing them, as if he did not believe what he saw. Everyone is focused on something extraordinary.

“Whoa... Cool once”.

“Biggest..”.

“It looks like this will be the biggest student technology megaproject in Indonesia.”

A technology created by the students of Ambon Institute of Technology. A discovery that was predicted to spread throughout the world has now been seen before their eyes. Everyone was amazed to see it.
