Chapter 50: Light Curtain

Solaris has set in the western horizon. Now it was Tierra Hyuma's natural satellite turn that illuminated this land. The time has already shown around 8 p.m.

Anna, Dwi, and Aldy have arrived at a large field. There was a green hill looming behind them, and the three of them could clearly see the light of magic lights illuminating the city in front of him.

“Well, more or less the same as this, it's just that there are more buildings on the level. And in our world, this city is better known as Jatinangor. Clikeruh is only a small part of it.” Dwi.

“Eh, what?” Anna looked at him after hearing that remark.

Dwi repeated the words once more, but in a clearer voice. Hearing this made Anna confused, whether Dwi was really amazed by the scenery she saw or there was another reason. He thought for a moment until he finally understood what the man meant. The blonde girl smiled after understanding what she meant.

“Hehe... Dwi, you tried to do it again huh?” anna smiled as she covered part of her mouth.

“Eh, what do you mean?” Dwi looked towards him.

“Do not lie. I also know the phrase ‘monthnya indah’ that you mean it. It's better to be honest if you like me, hehe..” seduced Anna.

Dwi's cheeks immediately turned red upon hearing that. Anna already knew what she meant.

‘The month is lovely’ or the one in Japanese commonly spoken ‘Tsuki ga kirei desu ne’ is a secret phrase that is usually used to express love. The secret phrase that appeared since 200 years ago seems to still be popular until the time of both of them.

“Lah, Ma.. where there I think like that. You're the one who's kegeeran again, Anna.”

The man tried to dodge, but his expression could not be lied to. Anna also teased him again.

“Ah seriously? Wibu like you won't be able to fool me in that way, haha.”.

Dwi pointed towards the bright full moon. But when he did, something strange was seen by both eyes. His expression changed drastically.

“Eh, why? Dwi?” Anna who saw it was also immediately speechless to see Dwi's expression that looked confused.

“That's what?” ask the Javanese man.

“It, aurora.” Say the girl.

“What? The aurora? Impossible. In the equatorial region there can be no such aurora.”

Dwi. According to him, it is impossible in the archipelago to appear aurora in the sky. The giant curtain of light at night can only be seen in the polar region. So what are they seeing?

The purplish-colored light curtain slowly descended from the sky and grew even bigger. It was beginning to cover the night sky. The three of them were still unaware of what large object had suddenly appeared before them. But they only realized it when the luminous object almost covered the area where they stood.

“It's not aurora. That..”

“Parisha!!”

Exactly it. The light curtain they saw was ‘Parisha’, a magic shield that became a barrier wall for the three to get out of the place. In other words, they're stuck there.

“Not wrong anymore. He has come.” Aldy.

The magic shield with a diameter of almost 1 km locked them so they could not get out of the place. It is certain that the magic was created by the enemy. They prepared for the position, awaiting the arrival of the enemy. But the problem was, the three of them did not know which way the enemy would come from.

Neither Anna who had issued Parang Pambahanya, nor Dwi and Aldy who were preparing to cast a spell, the three looked in various directions to detect the whereabouts of their opponents, but the results were still nil.

“Where is he?” anna said in her heart.

Everything was still silent within that circle of shields. The coldness of the night was still more domineering compared to the existence of mana. But this did not last long after the three of them detected something strange appearing from above them, which gathered more and more of a mysterious flying object.

“AT ABOVE!!” Shouted the girl.

The three turned their heads towards the sky right above their heads. Sure enough the estimates of the three of them. It was only fitting that they felt a very strong mana right above their standing position. It was a ball of light that slowly grew like a balloon. But it was not the usual rubbery thing that the children were blowing and playing with, but rather a light magic ball that was ready to shoot towards them.

WUSHH.The ball of light turned into a magic shot of light that shot rapidly towards the direction they stood. Aldy immediately retreated backwards, while Anna was still glued there. Fortunately Dwi

immediately pulled the girl's shirt and dodged. That light cannon attack created a huge explosion right after hitting the ground level. Fortunately the three of them were still able to avoid it.

“Huff... Almost only.” said Anna innocently.

“Hadeh, Anna. Why did you just stay there? Good thing you did not burn to ashes because of the explosion.” said Dwi. Upset, shocked, and tired, all three were mixed up in the man's feelings. But again Anna answered him in a plain tone.

“Yes where do I know that it will fire a light cannon.”

Dust blanketed the site of the attack. Shortly after, a sound sounded like an object falling from the air. A strange black shadow was seen from behind the dust, witnessed by the three of them. A moment later, the shadow turned into a muscular creature that was standing and walking towards them. The stomping of his feet showed that he was a mighty creature.

“Here apparently. According to your estimate.”

“Indeed I expected, they must have come to this place to welcome us.”

“Alright, now is the time to crush their heads.”

There was the sound of three men coming from behind the dust. But there is a strange, the third speech is almost no pause, not like the words from three different people. And even stranger, there was only one shadow figure in sight, not three figures. This made the three of them, especially Anna and Dwi become more vigilant.

“Not wrong anymore. You're the creature we're looking for here.” Said Aldy while staring at the shadow sharply.
