Chapter 23: Dark Warrior vs. Giant Caller

The third match will start soon. The two participants have faced each other. To the north is Dwi Septianto of the Jailolo National Magic Academy, while in front of him is Henrick Sutiyoso of the Tapanuli National Magic Academy.

“FIGHT, DWI!!!” anna shouted from the direction of the stands.

Dwi and Henrick looked at each other. Dwi looked at him with a cold expression. But unlike him, Henrick looked back at him with a mocking face.

“Woy, son of Jailolo. Don't be cool with you,”

The game has not started but Henrick has spoken a lot, putting his opponent down. But Dwi replied to him with a cold expression.

Hearing this made Henrick even more arrogant. With a grinning smile, he pointed towards Dwi while mocking her back.

Anna, who was sitting in the stands, was not very clear to hear their conversation, but seeing from Henrick's gaze on Dwi, she was sure that the man was trying to insult her. Suddenly it made Anna's emotions peak.

Not long after, the referee who was on the sidelines raised his hand.

The third match began. Very quickly Henrick put up the horses and looked like he was throwing something while reciting a spell.

The land shuriken split into many, perhaps almost a hundred pieces, and its position surrounded Dwi. Henrick did not allow the slightest gap for Dwi to avoid his attack.

Meanwhile, Anna who was sitting in the stands looked panicked, let alone looking at Dwi who seemed to have no chance to avoid the attack.

Henrick smiled grinningly looking at it, but he forgot that this was just ‘pulaan’. A magician was almost impossible to instantly lose with just such an attack, and sure enough.

Exactly it. The three dark magic were now in the form of a giant red-eyed black snake. They opened their fangs and tried to attack Henrick. His red-eye gaze and terrible voice were enough to make the spectators' hair stand on end.

Anna's partner who was sitting watching it also did not escape fear. His hands and feet were trembling looking at his friend's terrifying magic technique.

There were two more dark snakes left, and they were moving faster than before. Henrick tried to dodge the quick attack and jumped up and down while occasionally resting on the arena's guard shield. One of the dark snakes immediately attacked him, it looked like the snake wanted to prey on him, and it was right in front of Anna's eyes. The look of her red eyes and her terrible voice made the girl scream in fear while holding onto Licia's arm.

BRUKK. Again Henrick could easily dodge the attack, jumped up and slashed the snake's head with a ground sword he held. There was only one more snake left.

Henrick ran towards one more snake, but it seemed the Javanese man knew it.

Dwi swung her hand again to bring up another dark snake. Now there are about 10 dark snakes ready to invade Henrick.

Henrick created another earth sword. Now he held two earth swords to defeat the serpents.

The fight was epic. Henrick slashed at the dark snakes while dodging his successive attacks. Meanwhile, Dwi summoned another snake when one of them was defeated by the Sumatran man. The exciting battle between the two became an amazing spectacle for all who were there, not least Licia who participated in watching it.

“The magic of Summon is so cool,”

Licia was amazed to see the magic technique used by Dwi to summon those giant dark snakes, almost always appearing endlessly. But what he meant was not right.

“It's not Summon's magic,”

Said Aldy beside him. The girl looked at him as well.

“The dark snakes created by Dwi belong to ordinary elemental magic, as he still controls them manually. While creatures created by Summon magic can move on their own without being controlled by their users,” explained Aldy.

They thought maybe Dwi had won the match with his dark magic, but Dwi himself did not think so. He thinks it's too easy. He thought Henrick wouldn't lose that easily, and sure enough.

From behind the dust, a creature resembling a giant golem jumped and directly attacked Dwi with a type of machete in his hand. The shock was so hard that Dwi was overwhelmed to hold it, even though she used Parisha Asta.
