Chapter 34: Surprise from the South

A white light pierced through the darkness of the view. Everything seems blurry, but slowly everything is clearly visible. It was a white-floored room with gray walls. Seen a number of files stored on the brown table. Some other office equipment was also in that place. In addition, there was also a handcuff hanging on the wall. This place looks like a room in a prison complex.

“Uhh... Where am I?”

Three men in uniforms resembling prison guards walked into the room. A black-haired and bespectacled man who was in the middle of them instantly noticed the girl's face with a sharp gaze.

“You're up, Young Miss?”

“Eh, i.”.

Anna who was still shocked answered him stammeringly. Not long after that man took a chair and sat right in front of him. A table also suddenly shifted in front of them magically, not being pushed by anyone. It seems he moves by himself with magic.

The man put his arms on the table and introduced himself.

“I Hilmansyah, Head of Human Resources Analyst Field, North Bacan Correctional Institution,”

“Eh, Correctional Institution? Means I'm in dong prison, sir?” anna asked after hearing such familiar terms. Apparently the mention of the term place is exactly the same as what is in the real world.

“One time,”

The man confirmed his question, and shortly afterwards, he spoke to the girl again.

“There are some things we want to ask you, Anna Sahilatua,”

“Eh..”

Anna was surprised to hear that. But he also thinks it still makes sense, considering that he has broken one of the main rules on the planet.

Hilmansyah also began to throw a number of questions at the girl.

At first Anna seemed hesitant to answer that question. But because there was no other choice, he was forced to say everything, saying things that he should have hidden with Dwi.

Anna explained it in enough detail, what happened to her real self. However, this did not seem to be enough to make Hilmansyah believe his words.

“Another world? So you're Parachi?” ask Hilmansyah.

“Well, that's right sir. I am a Parachi from another world lost in this world,”

Anna's face changed immediately. With those words, he became even more confident that it would be able to return him to the real world. But what he hoped for was far from reality.

“Hmm.. even if you are a Parachi, but you should have been informed in advance of all the rules that apply here..”.

“Paham, Young Miss?”

It seemed that what Anna said was considered the wind by the man. He did not believe the girl's words.

“Darius, please bring the files in the closet,”

The man immediately looked for a number of files on the closet, while Hilmansyah immediately read a number of papers on his desk. I don't know what the man read, he looked serious.

Meanwhile, Anna was seen contemplating, her face bowed lethargic with a body position that could barely move at all. In his mind, he was worried. Did he do the right thing by doing it, the girl thought. He had scolded Dwi when the man wanted to change his way as good as jidat. It's against their agreement. But apparently Anna also did the same thing, maybe even worse.

No other sounds were heard other than the sound of the warden checking the closet. But it didn't last long, until something happened where they were.

The room where the interrogation was shaking quite loudly. At first they thought that it was an earthquake, especially the Moluccas area was very prone to natural events. But everything changed when the alarm went off loud and the magic light of the room dimmed.

WIIII WIIII. The siren voice broke the silence of the interrogation room. The two guards escorting Hilmansyah started to panic.

“Mr Hilman, it looks like there was an attack targeting this place,”

“What? An attack? Then tell me what's going on out there and who's attacking this place!” hilmansyah's orders.

“Good!!!”

The two of them rushed towards the exit to check what was really going on, while Hilmansyah remained in his position. Anna also wondered about it.

“Attacks? Magician attack?” thought.

Unfortunately, it was not until the two set foot at the exit that the ceiling of the place exploded violently due to being hit by a magic attack. The two guards also crashed.

“Arrgghhh.

Dust briefly covered the room before slowly fading away. And just as the dust disappeared, their eyes immediately focused towards the attacker.

“Hah? what creature is it?”

Solaris' light blocked her original form, but her black shadows could be clearly seen. He looks like a muscular creature with two wings resembling a bat. From its appearance, it was clear that the creature was not human.

“How dare a disgusting creature like you invade this place. You will feel the consequences,” threatened Hilmansyah.

The man along with his two bodyguard guards who were trying to get up directly pointed their hands towards the mysterious creature and cast a number of spells. One warden casts light magic, the other warden named Darius casts fire magic, while Hilmansyah with his lightning magic creates a large ball ready to fire.

“That's it you're a foreign creature!!”

WUSHH. The three of them shot their magic together. The magic balls also shot towards the flying creature and hit it to produce an explosion. But it seemed that the attack was still too weak for him.

A number of balls of light came out from the smoke of the explosion. He hit the ground in the room and produced small explosions. The three men briefly covered his face, then lowered his hands back thinking the attack had missed. But unexpectedly, it was not the main attack.

The ground they were treading suddenly rose to a height of nearly 30 meters in height, leaving everyone there, including Anna panicking. Apparently the light magic was just an intermediary to lift the ground they were on.

Not long after, the ground they touched fell. They all slammed back down very hard. Everyone, including Anna who was locked in the chair, cried out in fear.

BRUKK.. A very hard beat messed them all up. The guards were already lying helplessly as a result of the attack. Meanwhile, Anna is knocked down and thrown from her chair.

Slowly the blonde girl tried to get back up. But how surprised he was when the feet of the mysterious creature landed right in front of his head. Anna looked at him with a gaping mouth. Seemed terrified after seeing the shape of the mysterious winged creature, a creature that he had never seen since setting foot in this alternate world, especially in the real world.
