Ch. 21 — Not a Witch?!

Heiven looked towards the ancient lake and tree that was in the middle of this place after getting a brief explanation from Lin Yao.

He also eventually learns that this place is actually a small world whose existence is completely separate from the outside World. And, the only link between this small world and the outside world was a dimensional passageway filled with chaos energy.

When he saw the lake and the kujoy trees in this place, Heiven felt that he had seen the same lake and trees in several palace warrior camps.

“Isn't this tree and lake not that special? It seemed like these two things were also in some of the palace warrior camps. Then why did the two of us have to go through such great danger before if there was nothing special in this place?” heiven complained because he felt that what he did before was just a wasted job.

Lin Yao walked forward a few steps and turned his back to Heiven. “Trees and lakes that exist in this place have been around since ancient times. These two objects are the forerunners of all the ancient lakes and trees that exist in some military camps to measure the combat power possessed by each soldier. So, ancient trees and lakes in this place have more accurate capabilities when compared to others.”

“Quick 'don't waste any more time. If you don't want to find out to what extent the magic power you have, it's better that we both leave this place immediately. Because, actually I brought you to this place without my father's knowledge because my father is currently being a closed training,” exclaimed Lin Yao giving orders.

Lin Yao had previously also explained to Heiven how this ancient tree and lake worked when the two of them paid a visit to several military camps. So Heiven no longer asked many questions after learning that the ancient trees and lakes in this place have the same type of ancient trees and lakes in the military camp.

Heiven immediately walked towards the ancient tree as he wanted to know first what magic elements matched his body.

Arriving in front of the ancient tree, Heiven could clearly see the original shape of the ancient tree and found there were some quite striking differences with the ancient trees in the military camp.

The ancient tree leaves that were in place had a more transparent color like glass. The number of leaves owned by this tree is also more so that it looks very lush.

When he first arrived at this place, Heiven had thought that all the leaves of this ancient tree were sky blue, but it turned out that what he saw was only the color of the reflection of the sky in each leaf.

Heiven then attached one of his palms to the surface of the ancient tree while inserting the Qi present in his body as an intermediary between himself and the ancient tree.

He felt that the soul of the ancient tree was entering his body and examining everything in his body, including the existence of the laws of time that he had been hiding.

The color of the leaves on the ancient tree began to change along with what the soul of the ancient tree found inside Heiven's body.

In an instant, the red color that signified the fire element had dominated most of the leaves present on the ancient tree.

A moment later, the purple color that signified the lightning element began to appear on some of the leaves on the left and continued to expand.

Lin Yao still looked mediocre as he had previously also seen Heiven use lightning element magic power. So, he had long guessed that Heiven was a two-elemental mage.

However, another shock started to appear and made Lin Yao unable to blink her eyes.

The leaves on the right side began to green as a sign that Heiven also mastered the wood element as well as himself.

Then other colors of different types of magic elements began to appear from different sides of the ancient tree foliage.

This was the first time Lin Yao had seen such a strange thing!

The shock he received as he watched Heiven test his magic power even outweighed his shock when he was suddenly confronted by a giant bear monster.

“I—ini not possible ... This ancient tree must have experienced some kind of disturbance because of its age that is too old.” Lin Yao tried to deny what he saw before his eyes.

The existence of a two-element magician was indeed something ordinary. Because, even though it is a rare occurrence and can only be owned by a certain genius from each generation just like himself, it is still often found in a few decades.

However, what happened to Heiven was too unreasonable. A human being capable of mastering all kinds of magic elements was something that was extremely impossible and could only be achieved by a creature that was at the level of a God.

“Now try to put your hand into the surface of the lake. I want to see now that you've become a magician of which class?” exclaimed Lin Yao while pointing at the ancient lake that was beside Heiven.

Heiven immediately removed his palm from the ancient tree and walked towards the ancient lake. He then placed his right hand on the surface of the lake water and immediately put his Qi into the lake water just like Lin Yao ordered.

Nothing happened to the ancient lake.

“Not a witch? This is absolutely impossible!” Lin Yao frowned as he could not understand the peculiarity that the ancient lake showed.
