Xiao Heiven: New Genesis
Ch. 8 — Soul Witch King.

Heiven walked through room after room inside this Goa. However, he had yet to find a way out of this place.

Fortunately, every time he entered a room, he never left empty-handed. Yep! In Goa, there is a lot of gold and gemstones lying just like that in every room as if all the treasures are things that have no price.

In addition, Heiven also found several pill bottles whose usefulness he did not know. However, he was certain that all the pills present in the bottle were not ordinary pills and would be of great help to him during his time in this past world.

Without a second thought, Heiven immediately put all the objects he found into the storage ring. Because, he did not have any provision at all when he arrived in this age.

With all the treasures he found in Goa, he no longer has to worry about how to buy food or find a place to live. Because, all the gold and gemstones he had right now were more than enough to buy all these things.

Heiven had thought that all the treasures in Goa were deliberately prepared by Goddess Nuwa to support her survival during the task in this era.

Currently there was only one room left that he had not searched. Heiven was actually reluctant to enter this room because the location of the room was far underground and there were many thorny tree roots that were almost around the entrance. It was as if this space had indeed been sealed for a very dangerous reason.

However, Heiven had no other choice as this exit of Goa seemed to be inside the room.

With great care, Heiven began to enter that space while avoiding all the highly poisonous thorny tree roots as he stepped.

Upon reaching the room, Heiven saw nothing but a large tree that looked very sturdy. When viewed from the size of the trunk of the tree it should have been trying for more than ten thousand years.

Heiven looked around this room as if he was looking for something with a face that already looked upset. “Where exactly is Goa's exit? If you know it will be like this, I will definitely ask how to get out of this Goa before Goddess Nuwa disappears.”

Heiven stared fixedly at the Great Tree because in this room there was absolutely nothing but a large tree that seemed to be hiding something behind it.

At first, Heiven did not put the slightest suspicion on the big tree because it did not pose any threat to him at all.

However, when he saw the wind that emerged from the back of the tree, he became increasingly suspicious that the big tree had indeed covered the way out of Goa.

Heiven immediately pulled out his heirloom spear which had currently turned into a magic wand. He needed the help of a weapon because the magic he would use to destroy the large tree was medium-level fire element magic.

But ...

Whoost ...

Heiven of course became confused as this was his first attempt using magic with a magic wand. And, the magic power that should have come out of his magic wand should have been the fire element instead of the wind element.

A shadow that resembled an ultimate soul came out from the magic wand and looked at Heiven coldly. The body size of the soul figure was only as long as an adult's index finger.

However, the energy pressure emanating from the soul was extremely ordinary and could make this entire space shake upon its appearance.

“Evil Soul!” chirp Heiven when he recalled the words of Goddess Nuwa that in her inheritance weapon sealed a soul from a very evil creature.

The soul immediately flew over to Heiven and stopped right in front of his face. “Evil Soul?! What kind of a name is that? I am the Witch King, Yu Hao.”

“If you are not evil then how could the God of Time imprison you inside his heirloom weapon. Do you think a God would punish for no apparent reason? I command you to return to your place before I use the legacy of the power of the God of Time to destroy your soul,” Heiven threatened while turning the magic wand in his hand into an heirloom spear.

Heiven deliberately displayed the heirloom spear of the Time God heritage before Yu Hao to support his threat. He was actually only intending to bully himself because the God of Time did not pass down any knowledge of how to seal back if Yu Hao managed to break away from the heirloom spear cage.

Yu Hao's cold face instantly became more friendly when he saw the heirloom spear in Heiven's hand. He even smiled at Heiven and said. “It seems you misunderstood me. I have no intention of hurting you at all. Instead I want to thank you for freeing me from the punishment given by the God of Time.”

“Did you think I didn't see the killing intent hidden behind your cold gaze before?” reply Heiven.

“Before I had no idea if you were the heir of the God of Time and thought that you were a thief who wanted to take the inheritance of the God of Time. I apologize for that and from now on, I promise to obey all your orders and will take care of you like a bodyguard.”

Heiven of course could not believe so easily with the sweet words coming out of Yu Hao's mouth. He also continues to share questions to investigate the true nature of this evil soul, including about Yu Hao's past and why the God of Time had to punish him in an heirloom spear.

And, all of the answers Yu Hao gave were almost similar to what Goddess Nuwa had told him before.

“Then so quickly take me away from this Goa,” exclaimed Heiven giving the order after being quite certain that Yu Hao had completely submitted to him.

“It was an easy thing.”

Yu Hao immediately used his magic power to destroy the huge tree and revealed a passageway that looked extremely dark.

It turned out that all the roots of the thorny tree in this room did not come from the big tree but from within this hallway. I don't know what's really at the end of this hall.
