Xiao Heiven: New Genesis

Xiao Heiven: New Genesis
Ch. 7 — Mystery Spear Heirloom.

The form of Goddess Nuwa became increasingly faded after she saw Heiven pull out the map. For most of the power stored in his soul he had given the Heiven during the process of inheriting that power.

However, before he left this place, Goddess Nuwa had to say something to Heiven.

“You must hide the existence of the heirloom spear to anyone. For in the spear of inheritance is the soul of a very evil creature. Back then, the God of Time was forced to confine the evil creature's soul into his heirloom spear because there was not a single power in this world that could match the creature's power other than the power of time.”

An extremely blinding light shot out from the tip of the index finger of Goddess Nuwa and struck the heirloom spear in Heiven's hand and turned the heirloom spear into a magic wand.

“I deliberately changed the shape of the heirloom spear into a magic wand so as not to attract too much attention when you take it along the way. However, the heirloom spear has not lost its original form at all and can transform at any time into a spear according to your wishes.”

Goddess Nuwa finally disappeared from Heiven's sight by leaving behind a mystery stored within the heirloom spear of the God of Time's legacy currently in Heiven's hands, that is about the evil creature that is imprisoned in the heirloom spear.

The room inside this mysterious Goa again became silent and pitch-black after Goddess Nuwa left this place.

In this kind of extremely dark state, it was extremely impossible for him to study the map he had in his left hand. Heiven decides to put the map and the wand in his hand back into the storage ring.

He looked around and found nothing that he could use as a source of light. He also wanted to try the magic power he had just obtained.

“It looks like this is a suitable time to try some low-level magic spells. But, what magic spell is suitable for me to use as lighting?”

Heiven only thought of using the power of the light element as illumination. But, the use of light element magic was too draining a lot of energy even though all he used was low level light element magic.

He finally turned to the fire magic spell after reading how many inscriptions he had in mind. Because, the fire magic user does not need a large enough energy.

Heiven began to focus the thoughts and energies within his body to gather in his palm. After that, he had just read the incantation to turn that energy into fire element power.

...“Fire Element Magic — Fire.”...

Whoost ...

Instantly, a red blaze began to flare in Heiven's right hand like a torch. However, Heiven did not feel any heat at all.

Magic will indeed not be able to injure its user as long as its use has enough power to withstand the effects of a counterattack.

With the fire in his right hand Heiven returned down Goa and looked for a way out.

**

Meanwhile, far south.

A group of people are traveling across a forest that is notoriously haunted and dangerous.

Judging from the clothes they were wearing they were all a group of merchants who crossed this forest to go to the nearby Kingdom.

Of course during the journey these merchants had hired the services of several witches to escort their journey.

However, an unexpected thing suddenly happened …

The monster resembled a three-meter-tall bear with long, very sharp claw and fangs.

Without waiting for any more time, the monsters instantly attacked the merchants before them.

It seemed that these monsters were starving because it was rare for any human to dare to enter the forest. While the wild animals that usually become their prey, the number is also suddenly reduced and difficult to find.

The four magicians hired by those merchants certainly did not remain silent. The four of them immediately united forces and fought with those monsters at full strength.

In an instant, the once extremely silent forest instantly became a battlefield filled with explosive sounds.

The witches used the strongest magic they had against the monsters that numbered nearly eighty.

In numbers, these witches were indeed far inferior. However, as a human, these witches possessed abilities and intelligence that exceeded those of monsters.

The wide variety of high-level magic spells they used to attack the group of monsters that were trying to attack the merchants.

However, the number of monsters was indeed too many so they had to work harder than usual.

Within an hour, the four witches had managed to kill half of the monsters here in a fierce battle.

However, it must be paid a lot by the four magicians because the energy reserves in their bodies have dried up and are no longer able to use magic power in a certain period of time.

The four magicians could only sit where they stood before while trying to absorb the natural energy around them so that the energy reserves in their bodies would recover immediately.

The monsters who realized that certainly did not want to allow the four witches to recuperate. They all turned their attention towards the four magicians and then jumped while aiming their sharp claws from a sword.

...“Wood Element Magic — Nature Prison.”...

The voice of a woman suddenly resounded around the forest followed by the appearance of a giant tree root that instantly ensnared all those monsters and locked onto the movements of all of them.

The mysterious woman went to the merchants and said. “Quickly take the witches away from this place. I will hold these monsters for a while. And, all of you do not forget to tell what has happened in this place to the guard soldiers who are at the border gate so that they can immediately send reinforcements here.”

“But, Miss ..”

“No buts! Quickly go leave this place because your presence in this place will only interfere with my concentration.”

A merchant seemed reluctant to leave this woman alone in the woods with the monsters. Although he knew if this woman had high enough magic power.

However, the woman did not let the man finish his words and asked all of them to leave this place immediately and go to the nearby Kingdom.

The merchants finally left this forest with the magicians who were unconscious because they ran out of energy.

Of course these merchants sped up their journey due to worry about the safety of the woman who had become their all-helpful goddess.
