Meanwhile, Lin Yao who was inside the dimensional portal became even more anxious because Heiven never came here to pick himself up.

Moreover, he had several times sensed quite violent energy fluctuations from the direction outside of the dimensional portal. Those energy fluctuations had even briefly made the inside of this dimensional portal shake violently as if it was about to collapse.

Lin Yao was not a fool, he could guess that outside of this dimensional portal was going on an extremely fierce battle. However, he still remembered the message Heiven ordered himself to remain in this place until he came back to pick him up.

“Who fought Heiven?”

Lin Yao had had a rough calculation in his mind about the strength Heiven possessed and he had drawn the conclusion that there were only a handful of people who could match the strength of Heiven within the Green Peacock Kingdom. In fact, he himself was not sure he could defeat Heiven if the two of them dueled one on one.

“Is it possible for the dark witches to attack here?” Lin Yao looked even more anxious as he recalled the dark magicians.

The location of the Green Peacock Kingdom was actually the border region between the Dark Mage Kingdom and the usual resident settlements.

Behind the Continent where the Green Peacock Kingdom stood, there were thousands of islands inhabited by humans who did not master magic or martial skills at all. Thus, it could be said that the Green Peacock Kingdom was the gateway to the ordinary human world.

The dark magicians used to kidnap ordinary humans to make offerings to Demon Lords to gain additional power from the Underworld. Because, an ordinary human body that has never been deeply immersed in magic will be considered a pure body.

Lin Yao immediately rushed out of the dimensional portal. He could not remain silent if the dark witches were to actually attack the Green Peacock Kingdom because his status as a Crown Princess gave him the responsibility to protect this Kingdom if the King was not in place or doing very important business.

Right now, he saw Heiven was pointing the tip of his spear at the neck of a middle-aged man. And, that man was King Xiao Bao, the father of Lin Yao. The Kingdom of Green Peacock.

“Heiven..!! Stop that!! What did you do to my father.” Lin Yao shouted loudly until his voice echoed in the sky.

Heiven immediately turned his head towards Lin Yao. However, the tip of his heirloom spear was still in its original position and did not shift at all.

“Is this man really your father? I was forced to do this because he tried to kill me as soon as I came out of the dimension portal.” Heiven explained briefly while asking questions to confirm.

“Really! That man is my father. King Xiao Bao. Quickly release him, there may be a misunderstanding between the two of you,” persuaded Lin Yao. He calmed down a little when he saw Heiven listening to his words and began to move the tip of his spear away from Xiao Bao's neck.

However, something outside of everyone's mind suddenly happened.

The tip of the spear that had once been a few inches away from Xiao Bao's neck, suddenly shot back very quickly and made up for Xiao Bao's neck.

“No …!! What are you doing!!” Lin Yao could not hold back his tears. Such a deep sadness instantly enveloped the recesses of his heart in a short time.
