Ch. 35 — He Is My Father.

“Absolutely. I am the Divine Beast Shen Long ruler and guardian of this Continent of Atlantis.” Shen Long replied in a very distinctive voice and exuded an aura of his own authority. He then asked Heiven a question. “Because I have answered your question about my identity, it is now my turn to ask. Are you not a creature from this age?”

“Where did you know?” Heiven became startled and immediately looked at the Divine Beast Shen Long with a slight tremble as if he was looking at an extremely terrifying creature.

“It's not a difficult thing. Inside your body emanates a strange power that should not yet exist in this world. That power is Qi.” Divine Beast Shen Long then turned his gaze to Meylin who was currently beside him. “Muridku is also the same as you. He is not from this age, but I do not know if he is from the same age as you or not.”

Meylin nodded his head as a gesture that everything Divine Beast Shen Long said about him was the truth.

Heiven could say nothing more when he heard the true identity of the woman who had helped him. Right now he could only stare at Meylin even more closely. Because, he felt that the face of the woman in front of him felt very familiar. However, he could not remember clearly where he had seen Meylin.

“Does Goddess Nuwa take you away to this age?” asked Divine Beast Shen Long who instantly broke Heiven's daydream.

“Not.” Heiven shook his head. “I went to this age after I got the heirloom weapon belonging to the God of Time.”

Heiven immediately took out his heirloom spear and held it tightly in front of the Divine Beast Shen Long and Meylin. He then continued saying. “I just met Goddess Nuwa after I arrived and this age. He gave me a very difficult task, which is to destroy all the dark witches that exist in this age. However, he also gave me knowledge of various kinds of magic spells as a gift for accepting the task.”

Divine Beast Shen Long nodded his head. “I understand now. Looks like Goddess Nuwa has chosen a very appropriate person.”

Divine Beast Shen Long was pleased with Goddess Nuwa's choice. Because, the God of Time was actually the first disciple of the Divine Beast Shen Long. Thus, it could be said that Heiven still had a relationship with the Divine Beast Shen Long. And, on this Planet there was not a single God who understood the laws of time better than Shen Long's Divine Beast.

However, the Divine Beast Shen Long felt that the current Heiven was not quite capable of comprehending the laws of time any deeper. Therefore, he then gave orders to Meylin.

“Meylin, I want to give you an extra assignment. Are you ready?”

Meylin directly advanced before the Divine Beast Shen Long. “Murid is ready to accept the task and will try to finish it as best as possible so as not to make the teacher disappointed.”

Divine Beast Shen Long felt quite happy when he heard Meylin's reply. “In addition to cultivating the Mana within your body, I also know that you can also cultivate Qi well within your Dantian. It was a special privilege that the inhabitants of this age did not possess. Therefore, I want you to teach Heiven so that he can stabilize and strengthen the Qi that is within his body.”

“Good, Master,” Meylin replied firmly without asking much because the orders from his teacher were an obligation he had to complete.

“Are you sure you ordered this girl to train me to strengthen Qi?” heiven asked a little suspiciously.

“True. From today on, he will train you as long as you leave at my place,” Divine Beast replied Shen Long.

“Why?” Heiven was still unable to understand about Shen Long's Divine Beast mind path.

Seeing the anxiety that emanated from Heiven's eyes, Divine Beast Shen Long finally told the story of his first disciple, the God of Time.

Heiven finally understood that Shen Long's Divine Beast was currently his Master Grandfather because he had received the inheritance from one of his disciples, the God of Time, and had made the God of Time his teacher although the two of them had never actually met.

Divine Beast Shen Long immediately left his palace after giving Heiven and Meylin some advice. It seemed that Shen Long's Divine Beast had an important matter that he needed to solve immediately. Therefore, he left this palace in a bit of a hurry.

After Shen Long's Divine Beast left, Meylin walked over to Heiven to get to know him even closer. “There's something I want to ask you. Are you willing to answer my question?”

“Just say, no need to hesitate. We are both like family now. I will answer all the questions you ask honestly if I know the answer,” Heiven replied kindly.

“I want to know about your origins and from what year did you come from? Maybe you and I have actually met in the future.” Meylin felt that Heiven's face was a bit similar to the face of a man he had always longed for.

Without much further ado, Heiven soon tells Meylin about his origins and all the family members he has. Including in what year he was born and the last year he was in the future.

“So you said that your birth mother was named Bianca. And, you also have some stepmothers. Can you tell me what your stepmom's name is?” meylin asked after hearing Heiven's story. He seemed to reminisce about his past when he heard the name Bianca uttered from Heiven's mouth.

“Of course.” Heiven nodded his head. He did not feel the slightest existence to reveal the origin of the Meylins considering this woman was his life helper.

“I have four Stepmothers. They were Aunt Xin Ye, Aunt Xue Xian Hou, Aunt Mao Shizi and Aunt Feng Tzuyu.” Heiven mentioned the four names very eloquently as if he had memorized them out of his head.

Meylin's eyes became teary upon hearing those names. Because, He suddenly felt a very deep longing. However, he tried hard to hold back his tears from falling and continued to ask. “Is there a man in your family called Heilong?”

“Of course there are. He is my father,” Heiven replied proudly although he himself had not met Heilong directly since he was born into this world.
