Xiao Heiven: New Genesis
Ch. 5 — Tasks.

Heiven could not believe that his current self had returned to the past. However, he also could not deny all the evidence that had been shown by Goddess Nuwa right before his own eyes.

Not to mention all the strange dreams he had experienced in these past few months. For, all the dreams he experienced further strengthened the facts that had been spoken by the Goddess Nuwa.

After calming down, Heiven finally returned to asking questions. “What's your goal in taking me back to the past?”

The look on the face of Goddess Nuwa instantly turned serious. “I need your help.”

“I?!” Heiven seemed to be in disbelief at what he had just heard. Because, how could a Goddess with a power capable of shaking Heaven and Earth need the help of a human?

“What else is here besides the two of us? Did you see any other creatures around this place?” goddess Nuwa asked back.

“I am just an ordinary man. How could I possibly help a Goddess? You must be kidding,” argued Heiven still can't believe it.

“I'm serious!” the look on the face of Goddess Nuwa who had looked friendly, immediately became more and more resolute and emitted an aura that was so cold. “As a Goddess then all my sayings should be accounted for. So, how could I possibly joke around under these circumstances? Right now I really need your help and you're the only human who can help me.”

“What kind of help do you need? I'll try to help you as much as I can even though I'm not sure I can finish it.”

Heiven could only smile bitterly. Because, he had absolutely no room to refuse the request of Goddess Nuwa. In addition, if he wants to return to the future then he also needs help from Goddess Nuwa.

“You can definitely complete this task.”

Goddess Nuwa then pointed at Heiven with her right index finger and moved him upwards. Instantly, Heiven's body floated up to hit the ceiling of Goa.

An extremely strange sensation began to be felt by Heiven as his body floated in the air. He felt that his body was very warm and that something was awakening inside him.

A moment later, Goddess Nuwa suddenly pulled back the power that was at the tip of her index finger.

Heiven immediately darted down with his head down. He felt that his life would be lost if he did nothing to stop all this.

However, a strange force suddenly radiated from Heiven's body and made him float in the air just before his body touched the ground. Approximately only one stick of incense from the surface of the ground.

Instead of being frightened, Heiven became surprised by what had happened to him.

Still hovering above the ground, Heiven turned towards Goddess Nuwa with a strange look. He could not understand what Dari Nuwa had done to him.

What the Goddess Nuwa had just said certainly provided a new riddle in Heiven's mind. He immediately asked out of curiosity. “What do you really want to say? I was born a human being and I have absolutely no power of a God in my body.”

Goddess Nuwa did not seem to want to argue with Heiven for too long because the time she had to appear in this place had thinned. He again shows one of the walls and uses his power to bring up a picture, this time it appears is a picture of the future.

Inside the wall was the figure of a woman standing in front of the ancient ruins. The woman continued to stare towards the ancient ruins with a sad looking face.

“Do you know that woman?” asked Goddess Nuwa to glance at Heiven.

“Mother ..” Heiven's feelings are seen mixed when he sees his grieving mother. However, he could not do anything to appease his mother because he was in the past. “She is My Mom.”

“Good, then I will rewind some tens of years back.”

Goddess Nuwa actually also understood about the power of the laws of space and time. Therefore, he was able to bring Heiven who came from the future back to the past.

However, the understanding of the power of the laws of time possessed by Goddess Nuwa is not too deep. Therefore, he needed the help of Heiven who had the legacy of the God of Time to solve the problem he was experiencing.

The scene that appeared after time was set back for several tens of years turned out to be a great war that did not seem to take place on Earth. However, Heiven was able to see his mother engaged in that great war and was fighting fiercely with a dragon.

When in a desperate situation, a man suddenly came and helped his mother. From the closeness seen between the two of them, Heiven could guess that the man was his father even though he himself had never met his father since he was born into this world.

“Your mother is not actually a human being. But, she was a Goddess of the Unicorn Race. While your father was a human who was able to rise to become a God. In other words, you are a half-God. So, it is very natural that in your body is hidden the power of a God.”

The scene on the wall instantly disappeared after Goddess Nuwa revealed a secret that Heiven himself did not know at all. This secret is closely linked to his true identity.

“Now you know the reason why I asked you for help. You do not need to be afraid because I will also give you a little extra strength so that you can protect yourself while in this world,” continued Dewi Nuwa.

Goddess Nuwa was of course afraid that Heiven would die before completing the task from her. Not everyone can inherit the power of the God of Time.

“Good. I am willing to accept this task. But, what kind of tasks should I complete?” asked Heiven who already looked increasingly calm.

“You must rediscover the Earth Spirit that has been kidnapped by the dark magicians and immediately return it to its original place. Because, this Earth will soon be destroyed if his spirit does not return within a hundred years.” A very dignified and graceful aura emanated from the face of Goddess Nuwa while answering Heiven's question.

The Earth Spirit is the core of all life on Earth. If the Spirit of the Earth disappeared for a long time then the Earth would again turn into a dead planet just like millions of years ago.
