🚩Jacob PoV

I took a long step. Six, four steps to the door… .

“Wio..” call me soft.

I saw that back tighten a little. The next second, Winona turned her head. He looked at me from the corner of his eye. “Huh?” Those eyes twitched a little. His lips twitched a little.

I put on a small smile.

Winona rounded her eyes. “Oh! Jacob!” he sounds surprised.

His acting sucks. I know Winona heard me. He saw me too! For that Winona went.

“I called you earlier.”

Winona scratched his nape. “Ah, yes?”

I pointed to the shoulder. “Yuk tube, same kids cinema first.”

The eyes were wide open again. Winona glanced at my friends who were still sitting in the row three, from the entrance.

Winona laughed softly. Laughter that's always contagious, makes me let go of a little bit of weirdness.

I can't deny it, I really want to hug her right now. Tell me how much I miss him!

Her voice. Her laugh. Her smile.

His hug!

Winona blinked her eyes. A small amount is seen as he raises his hand to his mouth. “Gue sleepy. Want to go home.”

I still remember, Winona doesn't like to sleep late at night.

But one thing that made a smile back attracted on my face. “Hmm... did not expect to see you on the first day I returned to Indonesia.”

The frown on his forehead changed deeply. Those eyes also glinted furiously. As if holding back emotions. I never thought I'd see those dark eyes quickly create a clear bubble. If the bubble was shedding tears, I really feel guilty for making her hurt.

I often see Winona getting upset and angry. But never saw him cry!

“Oh?” I heard laughter mocking him. “Gue thinks you're lost in the Earth's swallow. Alias has been buried by land. But..” Winona flicked her hand, pointing my body from top to bottom. “That's healthy! Without any heartbreak.”

I felt a bit of bitterness in his voice.

Winona's right. I don't feel heartbroken. I just felt empty when I left him!

And it makes me feel bad!

“Sorry yes. I didn't mean..”

Winona grunting. His eyes look so windy. “Nudents? What do you think my heart is? I should have realized, if your model guy will never appreciate the feelings of girls!” Anger made his face red.

I left him, but I left him a letter…

Oh, whoa!

I gave the letter to Sepia! Didn't the girl give it to Winona?

I sighed, “can we talk? Love me a chance to express..”.

“Reason?” cut it.

I explained everything in the letter! If Winona had just accepted it, I'm sure she wouldn't be this angry and disappointed in me!

In a moment of anger, Winona would not listen. But I know him! The girl always accepted a reasonable excuse. She must have wanted to know why I left her!

“If you change your mind, I wait for you tomorrow at the central library. Coffee time.”

I used the term that the girl always used. Four o'clock past a quarter, he called it coffee time.

I reached out, opening the glass door. Winona twisted her body, passing by with quick steps.

A cold sigh pressed down on my heart. Why could it be, that girl left an effect like this on me?

I went back to the table where my friends were. A ignorant smile was drawn at the corner of Heru's lips.

Heru raised his hand, twirling his palm over his coffee latte. “Preview from Jeju Orange states.”.

“Most style is Eru,” cut Kim with slow stiffness. Kim's phone lifted back up, he pointed the camera at Heru.

“Eits... denger first dong!” Heru raised next to his eyebrows, the index finger of the man pointed at my face. “Jeju Forecasts says that in the middle of the year, there will be a return spring. Let there be no summer in Indonesia that is always hot, but it will continue to ignite embers that were once just a small spark that almost extinguished. The holy fire will be re-ignited, blazing with love that is not yet finished!”

Laughter breaks out at this table. I can only draw a smile of responsibility. My fingers are playing the cup handle.

Heru's words disturbed my mind.

Love that is not over?

“But honestly anyway, I feel sorry for Winona,” Kim put back his phone. “Gue heard gossip in my office, that Sepia actually hates Winona. Her husband said that he actually likes Wio. But because Wio nolak, shy, finally Gema even married Sepia.”

“Lu weirdly Kim,” Comments Kinanti. “They are married! Lu don't be afraid. Ntar damage household Sep..”.

“Serious I,” interrupted Kim. “So the Echoes his intention to treat Wio. They went on holiday to Labuan Bajo. The intention is just a grand opening Beach Club attendee si Gema.” Kim shook his head slowly, then he took a sip of his frappuccino before continuing the sentence. “This happened three months ago yes, by the way. I don't know what really happened on that cruise. What is clear, finally Sepia who got a proposal.”

At first glance, Kim glanced at me, then combed my other friend with a sharp look from behind those round glasses. “If curious, ask the same Wio!” Kim sighs heavily, “but Wio has already run away.” The little girl bit her lower lip. His eyes glanced back at me.

I glanced at the clock. It's late at night. Who's Wio coming home with? I couldn't have let her go home alone late at night.

What if something happens to her?

Even though I haven't seen her for five years, I still care.

“Gue first yes,” I said while standing.

Heru chuckles amusedly, “say you want to follow Wio!”

“Cappuccino hasn't been drunk!” kinanti Cheers.

“Not that, who paid!” grunts Heru.

I take a sharp breath. “Nih I pay.” I took out a hundred thousand bills, and put them on the table.

“Pay yourself?” chirps Kim.

“You guys on work?” I said back to asking.

Eagle laughs. His hand was raised in the air, telling me to leave.

My steps swung fast. The mind in the head invades a sense of uneasiness and guilt. If Wio were to take a taxi online, he would definitely be waiting in front.

I glanced over here, looking….

I scratched my head, remembering the clothes Winona was wearing. Wio used a thin brown blouse.

My eyes opened wide, as I saw the black car stopping in front of the brown-clothed girl. My steps back swung fast. It was supposed to make my heart rumble great.

At first glance, I saw the look on Winona's face looked tense. I reached out, touching Winona's shoulder.

The girl immediately looked over. The almond eyes were round, looking at me in surprise.

I slightly lowered my face, staring into the car. The man behind the wheel looked back at me. It has a firm jaw, with narrowed eyes. It's not clear to me, the details of his face.

Most importantly, this man was teasing Winona! And I don't like that!

“Whose you?” grunting's upset.

“You are who!” reply the man a little snapped.

Winona glanced at me, her hand pulling my wrist. Letting go of my touch on his shoulder.

“You want to go home, right? Let me anterin,” my word fast.

Winona was silent. Both eyes looked at me, barely blinking. His forehead frowned, making me guess, his mind was struggling with speculation.

“Wio?” soft ask.

Oh, how I wanted to pull her into my arms. Now too!

I saw the man in the shirt and the basic pants stepping towards me. Those eyes look upset. His jaw was also pulled tight. Obviously this man was holding back emotions.

“Lo who the hell?!” he said with high intonation.

The feeling of wanting to protect, made me pull Winona to my side.

“He's Jacob,” says Winona.

The man's gaze changed. If I let assumptions judge, he was a little surprised. Her lips are slightly open. The wrinkles on his forehead deepened. “Ngapain lo equal Wio?”

“Not a lo affair!” just answer me.

I pulled Winona's hand, took her step with me.

“Ah, shit!” maki the guy. From the corner of my eye, I saw him hit the hood of the car.

Three meters away to the parked motorbike, Winona snatched her hand from my hand. “What's up?”

“Not to be so good! I can go home by myself.” Winona snorted small.

“Yakin?” I raised my hand. The small square screen lit up, displaying the number 10.02 PM.

“Kosan you are still the same place?”

Winona nodded quickly. “Udahrarajin, don't be so considerate!”

I laughed softly, “not pretentious. But I am indeed attentive.” My smile grew wider, as I stared at Winona's adorable face.

“You forgot? I'm mad at you!”

I laughed again. “Ah, yes. But already use ‘aku, kamu’ sign..” I deliberately hang the sentence. Seeing that face change from irritated, to embarrassed, made me draw a small smile.

I cleared my throat slowly, glancing at Winona while my hand pulled the dark helmet located on the bike. “Oh, yes... whose man was it?”

“Gema, her husband Sepia.”

“Sepia married?” manywould be surprised. “When?”

“Two months ago.”

Awareness makes me take a deep breath. I remember what Kim said at the cafe. “Who were you waiting for at Cafe?”

Winona sighed heavily, “gue males ama lo! Do you want me to come home, or do you want a story? I don't have time to vent.”

I exhaled a heavy breath. Arguing again with Winona, not the best way to melt the girl's heart to tell a story.

Why do I care about that story? Winona's part of my past. And still I'm being possessive like this?
