“What?”

Lusy was very surprised when he got a call from Liana—mertua Joya that night.

That afternoon Lusy picks up Cheryl from the apartment, but hasn't gone to the hospital to see Joya giving birth.

Zayn and Zahra were playing with Cheryl, so they looked at Lusy who looked surprised.

“Good, Aunt. I'll be there tomorrow with Cheryl,” Lusy said after hearing Liana's request from across the line.

“What's up?” zayn asked when Lusy was done receiving the call.

Lusy did not immediately answer, looking at Cheryl who was still fun playing with Zahra, before then choosing to sit on the sofa.

Zayn initially sat on the floor with Cheryl and Zahra, then stood up to hear what was happening.

“What's up?” zayn asked while looking anxiously at Lusy who looked agitated.

“Joya has given birth to a boy,” Lusy replied but the look on his face showed sadness.

“Thank God, but why do you even look sad?” asked Zayn who was astonished, Lusy should be happy because her friend gave birth.

Lusy looked at Zayn, the woman's eyes glazed over as she recalled Liana's words earlier.

“Joya lost her baby, Zayn.”

Zayn was very surprised to hear Lusy's words, trying to figure out the meaning of the word loss.

“Lost how do you mean?” ask Zayn to make sure.

“There was a kidnap her while Joya was in the bathroom and Ken was receiving a call. Now Ken and his father are also trying to find the kidnapper,” Lusy replied. Seen sadness in Lusy's eyes, Joya is a good woman why her fate is so bad.

“Aunt Liana asked me to take Cheryl to the hospital tomorrow, hoping that Joya could calm down a little if Cheryl was there. Joya kept crying because she lost her baby,” Lusy explained.

“Alright, tomorrow we go there,” Zayn reply.

Farah was seen putting on an annoyed and unhappy face. He even took his eyes off Meghan who came to visit the house that night.

“I came here anxious because Auntie didn't answer my call or reply to my message. Is Auntie sick?” ask Meghan to try to find out why Farah ignored her call.

“Yes, I am indeed sick,” Farah replied without looking at Meghan. “Sickness because you intend to take advantage of my son,” Farah muttered inwardly.

Meghan saw a change in Farah's attitude, but tried to dismiss her and thought she was in a bad mood because of illness.

“I bring the favorite fruit and cake Aunty, do not forget to eat yes, Tan. I came home first because Auntie was in an unhealthy condition,” Meghan said then stood up and pinned the bag strap on the shoulder.

Farah simply nodded, certainly no longer willing to prevent Meghan from leaving as usual.

Meghan left with a bit of disappointment, she stopped her steps when she just got out of Farah's house.

“Why did Aunt Farah suddenly change attitude? Does he now bless Zayn's relationship with that woman?” Meghan wondered for herself. “No! I can't just let it go!”

Meghan left annoyed at her own thoughts, while Farah now only stared at the fruit and cake Meghan had brought for her.

Farah did not touch the fruit and the cake at all, choosing to stand up to return to her room.

“The fruit and cake I want to save first, Nyah?” ask the maid who wants to clean the table.

“You just throw it away, or if you want to eat. I don't want to eat that!”
