Accepting marriage

“Lu, are you sure of what you said this morning?” ask Zayn to type together with Lusy.

Zayn did not enter when Farah was in the room, even he hid when Farah came out of Lusy's room. He did not want to go straight to Farah because he was not sure of the decision he was going to make.

“Which one of my words?” ask Lusy to make sure before answering Zayn's question.

“Agree to go home to my parents,” replied Zayn with a face full of doubt.

Lusy clasped Zayn's palm, knowing that her husband must still doubt because he had been hurt by his own mother.

“Very sure.No harm in giving a second chance, Zayn. Don't be selfish just because you feel right,” Lusy advised.

Zayn seemed to think, and then returned the grip of his wife's hand tightly.

“I've decided.”

Farah was at a restaurant after visiting and talking to Lusy. Now he sat quietly without touching the food he ordered. His mind was stifled at the longing for his entire family, his heart hoping that Lusy could persuade his son to return home and stay with him.

“Tante.” Meghan's voice breaks Farah's daydream.

Farah looked at Meghan, looking unhappy.

“Happy to meet Aunt here. Aunt alone?” ask Meghan who sat down without asking for Farah's permission.

Farah was upset to see Meghan again, the memory of the woman's shortsightedness made her mood even more shattered.

“For what are you here?” Farah spoke to Meghan. She is not the kind of woman who likes to talk.

Meghan was very surprised to hear Farah's question, looking at the woman in surprise because Farah spoke a little bit too closely to her.

“I just feel Aunty alone and need to be accompanied,” Meghan replied a little doubtfully.

Meghan gasped even more, staring at Farah with many questions in her head.

“Why is Aunt acting like this to me? Do I have any wrong? If yes, I'm sorry,” Meghan tried to go low.

Farah smiled sneered, even turning her face away while breathing out using her mouth.

“Wrong? Yes, you have a mistake that I cannot forgive.” After saying that sentence, Farah also stared intently at Meghan.

Meghan gasped at Farah's words, not understanding the mistake in question.

“I'm wrong, Tan?” meghan asked in a voice made as soft as possible.

Farah again smiled with a sneer, and then replied, “You want to marry Zayn just because you want to use it, do you think I don't know that?”

Meghan was so surprised to hear Farah's words that she seemed overwhelmed because Farah knew about it. However, of course Meghan will not immediately confess and try to give up.

“It's not true. I've loved Zayn since I first met him at an event in Singapore, Tan.” Meghan tried to convince Farah.

Farah wanted to laugh at Meghan's rebuttal, increasingly feeling that the woman was shameless by lying to her.

“Do you think I'm stupid? I saw and heard that you wanted to marry Zayn to take advantage of and secure your position in the business world. I didn't expect a woman like you to turn out so petty. I'm sorry for forcing Zayn to marry you. Turns out Zayn's choice is better than yours!” Farah finally reveals what she knows about Meghan.

Meghan is speechless because Farah said she knows and sees for herself.

Farah took her bag, then stood up and looked at Meghan.

“From now on, don't bother me or Zayn. Zayn is married and I accepted their marriage. And you don't ever discuss if I ever betrothed you.” Farah spoke so forcefully that she left Meghan there alone.

Meghan clenched her palms, why is everything so messed up like this.

“Damn it, why did the woman have to enter into Zayn's life,” Meghan grumbled before then hitting a fist on the table.
