Our enemies tried to shoot us behind their strongholds, but not a single arrow came to us. As the sun began to set we made a bonfire and lit torches throughout the camp. Adry and his subordinates returned after finding a water source, some of the troops paced from the water source to take him to the camp.
then as they brought the water, I started cooking a large amount of wheat porridge while Adry and his subordinates slaughtered some chickens, cleaned and then cut 1 chicken into 18 pieces, then cooked the chicken soup.
When everything was done, we told the troops to immediately rest and replenish their forces. Some of the troops stood guard and took turns to eat wheat porridge and chicken soup.
We ate it, the soup was delicious on this cold night, "Adry, this soup is delicious and warm!", my body feels warm now.
"Thank you Reza" said Adry.
After we finished everything, then I rested in the same camp together with Adry and his subordinates.

I went out to look at the troops who were marching, most of the militias wearing protective coats made of thick cloth and leather. Armed with pitchforks, spears and wooden shields, considering they were commoners.

Lord Askari in front of them all gave the message, "This is the first day of the siege, lest they come out, let them starve and thirst within the wooden castle!", his voice was so loud it seemed like the enemy within the fort heard him, he continued his message as he walked around the ranks, "If they dare to open the gates and attack, shower them with arrows, kill them!"
I didn't see Adry and his subordinates marching, where were they? I went around looking for him around the camp, as I approached the carriage, he was leaning in the carriage, "What are you doing here, Adry?", he replied, "Of course keep the supplies"
I entered the carriage and leaned back as Adry did, "You didn't march?", I said.
"My job now is just to keep supplies and my subordinates guarding around the camp. I think the unit Captain Askari leads is enough"
We both spent the day in the carriage until the sun came up and the voice of Mr. Askari said, "Where is your battle cry!?", everyone shouted so loudly that it boomed, "What are they doing?" to my surprise, Adry replied, "That's a battle cry, its purpose is to arouse the spirit and eliminate fear and can also be used to intimidate the enemy. Just imagine if thousands of people did it simultaneously"

We got out of the carriage to see what the troops were doing, they cut down some trees and cut them to pieces, "Now what are they doing?", I asked Adry beside me, "Yeah, I think it's them using barricades or blowers to forcefully open the gates"
"by the way Reza have you had breakfast? I forgot to wake you up"
When I heard him say that, I suddenly felt hungry, "It seems like I haven't, I forgot to eat breakfast", and I went to sit near the extinguished campfire, a big pot on a bonfire filled with wheat porridge, I poured it on my side and then I ate, "The porridge is cold"

As Adry said, the tree they cut down was used to create a barricade that could cover the entire body with two small holes in the middle.
I saw Lord Askari from a distance discussing with some soldiers. All I heard was the soldier saying, "Ready!", out loud.
soldiers from the militia have moved, they are seen dividing into several groups, each of the groups carrying 2 barricades. Enemies who saw it were on standby and ready to fire at any time when the militia attacked.
Mr. Askari stepped forward and stood beside the militia, then gave the order, "Forward and set up barricades!", and he monitored from behind, the militia advancing slowly with barricades. The enemy shot at them, but the barricade managed to repel the enemy's attack, some soldiers behind the barricade with bows started shooting back, both shooting arrows at each other.
When they reached a point, Mr. Askari gave his order again, "Stop!", the militia stopped moving and stuck the barricade on the ground and all the militias behind the barricade started shooting at the enemy from inside the fort.
They continued to fire until noon, then Mr. Askari gave his order again, "Retreat!", all the soldiers in front raised the barricade facing the enemy then retreated slowly.
They use the same tactics every day.
