CHAPTERS 10. Last Terms
8Agnes is now in Halim's car, while Halim is seen driving his car away from the campus area.
Agnes just she just looked at Halim who was driving, because it had not had time to drink, Agnes pulled a bottle of water from the dashboard of Halim's car but could not open it.
"Here!" Halim took the water and removed both hands from the steering wheel for a moment to open the bottle. "Now!"
Agnes picked up the opened bottle of water and started drinking it, Halim glanced at Agnes then turned her attention back as Agnes looked back at her.
"There's Papa with Mama at home, just waiting for you, Mama called me, so we have to go home," said Halim who made Agnes nod her head.
Before long they had reached Halim's house, Halim's two-story house was large enough for two people to live in, with shades of white but the yard was not wide enough just for two cars.
When they arrived there, there was already a car that Agnes signaled was a car from Mama Asna and Papa Rinto.
Halim parked her car in the yard and then went down with Agnes, it turns out that Mama Asna and Papa Rinto are on the porch of the house because the house is locked.
"Assalamualaikum, Mama, Papa," Agnes walked towards Mama Asna and Papa Rinto then experienced her. "Old time, sorry well Mama same Papa so wait a minute."
"Dear father, Mama and Papa also just arrived," replied Mama Asna stroked Agnes' head.
After greeting his parents as well, Halim immediately opened the door of the house with a key. "Ma, Pa, get in here."
Mama Asna and Papa Rinto and Agnes then walk into the house where they lead to the living room.
"I made Tea first well," Agnes smiled then walked towards the kitchen leaving Papa Rinto and Mama Asna there.
After being left to make tea by Agnes, Halim looked inside her parents who were now both already sitting on the living room sofa.
"Mama and Papa Tumben are here, what's up?" halim asked who made Papa Rinto lean his shoulder on the back of the sofa.
"So Papa and Mama can't come here?" ask Papa Rinto back which makes Halim clumsy.
"Not so Pa, just a tumben Mama and Papa Nemuin Halim," replied Halim trying to be polite.
"Papa here want to know about your inheritance, the terms of marriage you have done, so-"
"The Bible can have that legacy?" cut out Halim which makes Papa Rinto shake his head. "Continue?"
"If the old man speaks it don't cut Halim!" it was Papa Rinto's timpal who made Halim bow.
"Pardon me, Pa."
"The second and final condition is, Your Inheritance Treasure you can take when your wife is pregnant, there is no need to give birth as long as there is news that Mama and Papa will get a grandchild that already can qualify," replied Papa Rinto who made Halim glare sharply at his parents.
"But Pa, that time anyway?"
"If you are yaudah, Papa will revoke the shares in your company and the family legacy of Papa will waqfkan only," replied Papa Rinto who made Halim more cornered.
"Papa Cheating, can threaten," complained Halim who is now in the midst of misuh-misuh.
"Who told you, you become a child" replied Papa Rinto as if mocking Halim.
The conversation about this legacy came to a halt when Agnes came bringing tea and some snacks into the living room.
Elsewhere, Glenda is upset not with Halim and Agnes until someone calls her.
"Hello?"
"Sir Glenda, I know your secret, who you are and your relationship with Halim, if you want all this to be, meet me at the location I requested."
Tut!
"Hello!" Glenda heard nothing more from the phone call.
