After the Word of Accord
CHAPTER 44. Aja's Marriage

"Thank you Bang Aryo, sorry to take care of you," said Agnes dropped from Aryo's motorbike.

"Father Nes, yaudah Abang continued first well, Assalamualaikum."

"Waalakumsalam."

Agnes stood in front of the restaurant staring at her brother's motorbike passing from before him, because it was waiting for Taxi, finally Agnes came with Aryo who happened to pass in front of his house.

After her brother's motorbike was out of sight before her, Agnes turned her back and walked into her restaurant.

Inside the restaurant Agnes could see from the transparent glass there was Glenda and Hadi who were behind the food ordering counter while three other employees were serving buyers.

"Assalamualaikum," Agnes opened the door of her restaurant which made Hadi and Glenda raise her head.

"Waalakumsalam, Eh Nes, has arrived" replied Glenda who was making a drink order buyer.

"Yes, I'm sorry that it's too late, Bang Hadi, what's here?" ask Agnes to walk in front of the seat between the reservation table dividers.

This booking table is long, where Glenda put the dishes she made to be delivered by waiters.

"Soon doang, there were many buyers so help Glenda."

"Lies, Bang Hadi did not help him just sit down," replied Glenda who made Hadi scratch his neck.

"Bang Hadi is here, Miss Glenda, have married you," said Agnes who made Hadi and Glenda surprised.

"Well!" glenda and Hadi said.

"Rather than a slander, mending marriage," replied Agnes holding her chin by hand.

Hadi and Glenda threw glances at each other which made Glenda directly lower her head.

"Bak is not a good woman Nes, Bang Hadi deserves better."

"Who said?" asked Agnes who made Glenda raise her head.

"No one has the right to judge Mbak good or not, it all depends, Mbak will not change the mindset of others but Mbak can prove it, after all the good must get the good, after all, have to get the good, sometimes good leads her partner to be good" explains Agnes. "Stupid gaada who knows, Wallahualam, if Allah has written the names of Mbak Glenda and Bang Hadi in Lauhul Mahfudz, it must be his soul mate."

Hadi and Glenda were silent to Agnes' words, Hadi looked at Agnes slowly, quietly among the three of them.

"Heh daydreaming, talking about a soul mate anyway, it's a guest tuh," Hadi stirred silence among all of them.

Sure enough there was a buyer who made Glenda have to act again in the kitchen leaving Hadi and Agnes there.

"Shame opo? Bang Hadi likes it, right?"

"Gatau ah," Hadi replied as if he were a careless boy.

Agnes just laughed softly, until someone walked into their resto and Agnes knew that person.

Waiters wanted to serve the man but Agnes forbade him and told him to serve him.

"What message is Oca?" agnes said as she arrived at the table where Oca was sitting.

Oca did not reply she just stared intently at Agnes which made Agnes sit in the chair in front of Oca.

"I just want to tell you that I will never give up on finding Mas Halim" Oca replied, which made Agnes smile.

"Bawain Orange Juice is one," asked Agnes to Waiters then focus back on Oca.

Glenda and Hadi saw that, Glenda and Hadi noticed Agnes and Oca from their place before returning to the kitchen to make orange juice.

Want it bad intentions Glenda put rat poison into that juice to get Oca poisoned.

"Mbak Oca is stupid, but really excited, I rarely see people who work hard to get people's husbands."

"Don't feel safe!"

"I don't feel safe, because I know, everywhere a legitimate wife is more honorable than a seductress," replied Agnes holding her head and staring intensely at Oca.

"Hm! Snob! You are too naive!"

"Dad Affa!" Agnes stopped her speech because the orange juice of their order had already arrived. "What can Oca do? I'm the soul mate Mas Halim, want one province like Mbak Oca if Mas Halim's soul mate is me, Mbak who is as provincial as this can be?"

Agnes stood up and pushed the glass of juice onto Oca. "Drink Ma'am, fear of drag."

Oca was silent, kept in check by Agnes.

Assalamualaikum says.
