CHAPTER 40. Producer 2.0

."Nes, you make such a cheap price, are you lucky?" asked Glenda who was putting together a drink at the restaurant table.

It has been a week and now is the day of launching a restaurant owned by Agnes that will be helped managed by Glenda.

"Fortunately from Allah Ma'am, it is his intention of worship, insha Allah's blessing," replied Agnes sitting on the chair there.

Glenda smiled then walked towards Agnes and hugged Agnes from the side. "You're proud of yourself, you always think of others."

"So I know Ma'am, how does it feel to have trouble eating, yaudah yuk we ready again, later guests launching keburu come," replied Agnes who made Glenda nod.

They are preparing for the launch this time only because Agnes has not opened a job vacancy and plans to open after launching.

"Assalamualaikum," the voices of some men came to open the door of their restaurant.

"Waalakumsalam" replied Agnes and Glenda together.

It was Halim, Hadi, Azio and Aryo, Agnes who saw the arrival of her husband and her brothers moving towards them all.

"The day is coming, it's not finished yet" replied Agnes.

"Father dong, we can help you, too" Aryo replied to Agnes. "What do we have to do?"

Agnes smiled and thought for a moment. "Bang Aryo and Azio put together a table and a chair just outside how?"

"Come," Aryo walked out with Azio and left Halim and Hadi.

"If bang Hadi help Ms Glenda aja," replied Agnes again who made Hadi mendelik.

"The lace?"

"Yes, that's another drink," replied Agnes pointing to Glenda who was wearing a blush-colored hijab at the time.

"I-that's Glenda?"

Agnes nodded her head. "If it's Halim, help me in the back."

Halim nodded then walked in with her hands pulled by Agnes following Agnes towards the kitchen.

While Hadi, he was still silent in place before walking towards Glenda.

"The lace?"

Glenda who was preparing drinks on the table turned her body and looked at Hadi. "Bang Hadi, Assalamualaikum Bang."

"Ehm-" Hadi hung up his sentence. "Waalakumsalam."

Hadi was silent for a moment before he refocused and looked at Glenda's face deeply.

"G-gak Nda, you take a day off to attend this launching," replied Hadi who made Glenda nod.

"Oh, yaudah Bang, I went to the back first well, took another drink, made it in the stacking on the table outside," Glenda was about to walk towards the kitchen but Hadi immediately withdrew her hand.

Glenda who felt in a sudden pull took off Hadi's hand and rubbed his hand. "Pardon Bang, not good at seeing people."

Hadi restrained her hair for a moment. "Sorry, can you help me?"

"May," Glenda replied, taking Hadi to the kitchen.

Hadi walked slowly behind Glenda, his eyes captivated by the elegance that lay before him. "Pretty."

"Yes, Bang?" Glenda stopped her steps and turned her body to Hadi.

"J-just walk Glenda," replied Hadi who made Glenda not to bother.

Glenda walked into the kitchen followed by Hadi and thankfully there were Agnes and Halim there so Hadi and Glenda did not need to be alone.

The sound of car tires squeaking not far from Agnes's restaurant, a long-haired brown woman came out from there and stood staring far away.

"Halim, I miss you, we haven't seen you for five years, last heard from you, you were dating Glenda, I won't accept that Halim, your first love is me, and I'll take you now."

The woman seemed to be talking to herself staring at the photo of Halim on her phone screen.
