After the Word of Accord
CHAPTER 38. Doubt

Glenda lifted her head and covered her face again when she found out it was Agnes, just three weeks after her bankruptcy business she had become like this.

The citizens who were still judging Glenda were getting more brutal which made Agnes stop their reaction.

"Sir! Ma! Calm down this is my sister, indeed she stole what let me change," said Agnes raised her hand to make the residents stop.

The shopkeeper who Glenda was in stole from then walked over to Agnes. "He took bread."

Agnes requested that the store owner wait for a while as Agnes reached into her bag taking fifty thousand dollars and giving it to the store owner.

"It's yeah, Mom."

"Thank you, keep her brother from stealing anymore" replied the shopkeeper who made Agnes nod her head.

Agnes then asks the other residents to disperse and Agnes immediately helps Glenda stand up and takes her into a taxi.

"Bak Glenda why? How can it be gini?" asked Agnes looking at her stepbrother's pity.

Glenda lowered her head, the once silky hair sparkling and smooth it looked tangled and covered her face.

Glenda's shoulders trembled with tears, she was ashamed of Agnes who had helped her, Agnes who saw that grabbed Glenda's dignity.

"Bak Glenda why? Where's mama?" ask Agnes again.

Glenda raised her head and looked at Agnes. "Nes, m-maafin Ma'am well, sorry Mbak much wrong with you, maybe this is true reply to the actions of Mbak."

Agnes who saw that just stared sadly at Glenda then hugged her half-brother. "If you need anything, you can find me."

Glenda was increasingly embarrassed by Agnes until she did not realize she again felt a pain in her chest that made her unconscious.

Agnes asked the driver to shake his head and take the car to a nearby hospital.

Arriving at the hospital, Glenda was immediately treated and it turns out that she had a mild heart attack, Agnes who knew it was getting desperate to Glenda's fate.

"Mbak Glenda has actually suffered from coronary heart probably because of heavy work so that had a mild heart attack, Mbak Glenda was able to go home immediately."

Agnes just quietly heard the sentence herself, Agnes then came out of the room after listening to it, before long Halim came frantically to meet Agnes.

"Assalamualaikum, baby you are okay, you just called you in the hospital, Mas worried it will be," said Halim cupped Agnes' face and hugged his wife. "You're freaking out!"

"Waalakumsalam, sorry Mas," replied Agnes as Halim let go of her embrace. "Actually the one who entered the hospital, Miss Glenda."

"The legend? She why? Yesterday," answered Halim, sitting on a chair in the corridor. "Don't care, she."

"Mas ih! Not good to say that, he said he knows Mas, he has a coronary heart now, and already has no home anymore, Mas there is an empty apartment right, help yah Mas," agnes approached her husband and took his hand. "You know what, Miss Glenda is my half-brother."

Halim took a long breath. "There is but why help him, don't you! It's a reward for him to have a deterrent effect."

"Mas, I can't do that, maybe Glenda can change, remember? We can't change the human heart but we can help her to change, after all, if you know that Mas helped Ma'am Glenda, I can get pregnant quickly right? He said he wanted to have children" replied Agnes, who kept Halim quiet.

When it comes to Agnes, Halim just refuses she is not able, but in the heart of Halim is not so sincere to help Glenda.
