CHAPTER 05. After the Word of Accord

Today is the wedding day of Agnes and Halim, everything is well prepared and specifically Agnes she uses the guardian judge she got from the government.

All that Agnes knew when she and Halim met an ustad who became their marriage consultant named ustad Novri.

The Judge nodded then began to say his sentence.

The simultaneous speech of all the witnesses made everyone say Alhamdulillah then pray.

Agnes pushed Halim's body slowly so as to make Halim's position stand now.

"Mr Glenda? Mas sure Mama Glenda also loves Mas?"

"He saved my life first, so I have no reason not to love him or vice versa" replied Halim who made Agnes smile bitterly.

"Why shouldn't he be here right now, if he loves Mas Halim?" Agnes scavenging.

"K-because she wants to pursue her career so she won't marry first while I need this inheritance," replied Halim nervously.

Agnes laughed which made Halim glare sharply. "Sorry Mas, I find it funny, people who want to see their loved ones marry someone else, so I think Glenda's love should be questioned."

Halim was speechless, Agnes patted Halim's cheek then looked at him deeply. "Good night, my husband."

Agnes walked to the bed and slept there leaving Halim still standing stiff after being checked.

The ringing sound of a cell phone made Agnes wake up from her sleep, she stared around before picking up her phone which was already one hour a night.

Agnes catches Halim sleeping on the sofa in the room, it turns out that the ringing of the phone is the ringing of Halim's phone.

Agnes stood up and immediately walked up to Halim's phone and it turned out that she called Glenda.

Agnes picked it up. "Hello, Ma'am."

"Agnes! Why are you lifting, where is Mas Halim?"

"He slept, tired maybe after performing our first night ritual?"

Glenda was speechless across there holding back the emotions in her chest.

"Don't be proud of you, you're just a wife on paper!"

"At least, I'm a legitimate wife, not a relationship without status, Ma'am want with good facts? Maybe Mas Halim hasn't said love yet, but God is all-loving, we don't know in the future."

Irritated by Agnes' reply, Glenda turned off the phone and clucked in annoyance, Agnes returned Halim's phone then walked to the corner of the room to pick up their wedding ring that Halim threw.

Agnes then walked back towards Halim, picked up a blanket then enveloped Halim.

"Mas Halim may be the one who put this up tonight, but someday, it's Mas himself who doesn't want to let go" Agnes put a ring on to the sleeping Halim.
