Chapter 22: The Part of Rangga

Upon arrival in Jakarta Rangga directly to the boarding that he had searched via the internet before he left for Jakarta.

The considerable time difference between New York and Indonesia makes itself jet lag. Rangga laid his body on the bed, while telling Tyshia that he had arrived in Jakarta safely. Rangga only sent a short message to Tyshia, he did not want to disturb the break time of his lover.

Rangga put his phone back on the table, then he closed his eyes.

Two weeks Rangga has lived in Jakarta, during which he passed the stages of work tests, ranging from basic competency tests to health tests and interviews at several companies he applied for.

Rangga did not miss a day to contact his lover, he always reported every activity he did in detail to Tyshia, and Tyshia was always a good listener for Rangga, as well, all the complaints Rangga he accommodated, Tyshia always provide support and enthusiasm for Rangga.

"Thank you so much byy, you never get tired of my horror stories. Then what about your day in New York yesterday?" ask Rangga.

"Good, I went to college as usual. I spent more time in the library so I could finish my studies soon and we could be together again in Jakarta" Tyshia said.

"Is that all, baby?" asked Rangga back, but he was eager to hear more details about Tyshia's activities.

"Hu'um is just so-so, how is the weather in Jakarta?" Tyshia tried to shift the topic.

Sometimes there is a little question mark in Rangga's heart, during the relationship with Tyshia, Tyshia rarely tells about her. For Rangga, Tyshia is too closed, the woman always diverts the conversation, but even so Rangga still trusts Tyshia 100% and hopes that after marriage, Tyshia will be more open with herself.

Amidst his chat with Tyshia, Rangga received a work call email from the company he was applying for.

"Byy, I was accepted to work at a chemical company that last week I took a test" Rangga said while staring at his laptop screen.

"Alhamdulillah, congratulations byy. Hopefully tomorrow on the first day of Kak Rangga's work, everything goes smoothly" said Tyshia, he was happy to hear it.

"Thank you dear, this is all thanks to your prayers and support."

"Because, I'm getting ready to go to college first, yes byy here already at 07.00 am."

"Dear baby, the spirit. I'll tell you later, love you."

"Love you too." Tyshia closed her phone call.

The first day Rangga entered work, Rangga was placed in the Quality Control section.it did not take long for Rangga to understand the flow of work he was doing, Rangga also did not hesitate to ask his senior.

"The mango this morning Mr. Linga had an accident, can you replace him in the meeting this afternoon?" said Riko one of Rangga's colleagues.

"Okay" Rangga nodded her head.

Before the meeting, Rangga took the time to contact Tyshia, when Rangga contacted Tyshia he was surprised by the voice of a drunk man, his mind was more chaotic when Tyshia turned off the phone from Rangga.

Rangga could not concentrate on studying the material for his meeting, he was so worried about his lover. Until an hour later Tyshia contacted him again, he explained everything to him and then Rangga felt a little calm, he asked Tyshia to stay away from Rai because he did not want Rai to bring bad influence to Tyshia, then he continued his work.

The chairman of the company is Rio Darmanto who is none other than the father of Alinea Lateshia Darmanto.

Rio was quite surprised by the presence of Rangga at one of the participants of the meeting that day, the last news he got from his daughter's driver if Rangga had returned to Indonesia, after that Rio no longer asked the latest news, he just waited for Rangga to contact him, but it turns out that Rangga prefers to take the test in appeal to contact him.

It has been more than two weeks since the meeting at that time, Rangga always came home late at night because he worked on all his reports, he also had to go back and forth to the lab and not infrequently he plunged directly into the factory.

The most exhausting for Rangga after all his reports were completed, Rio instead returned the report that Rangga made for no apparent reason.

'Am I not worthy to work here?' muttered Rangga while sighing his weight.

One morning Rangga arrived late, because he hurriedly wanted to be absent he almost hit the wife of the dirutnya.

"Yes madam, sorry my mistress if you are absent first" said Rangga while bowing his body.

"Oh yes please. After this I want to talk to you, meet me in the meeting room" said Ana, then she passed away leaving Rangga.

'What are these problems?' muttered Rangga in his heart, his mind became unsettled, he resigned if he had to be removed from the company.

After Absent, he immediately met Ana in the meeting room, tapped the meeting room and then gave his greetings to Ana.

"Come on Rangga" Ana invited Rangga to come in and sit down before her.

"Rangga, since when did you work here? I know you haven't contacted my husband" asked Ana.

"Almost a month mistress, sorry mistress I did not contact master because I did not want to take away the rights of others" replied Rangga.

"If I contact you then you put me in this company without a test, I'm afraid to get rid of people who are much more competent than me to work here, so I prefer to follow the procedures that should be" said Rangga.

'Princess is really not wrong to choose' murmured Ana, he was amazed to hear the answer from Rangga, then Ana asked the division where Rangga worked.

Before leaving Rangga, Ana told Rangga not to come late, then Ana left the meeting room to go to her husband's room.

"Where are you, baby?" rio asked, when he saw his wife enter his study.

"Have chatted with my future daughter-in-law" Ana said.

"Who?" rio asked in surprise.

"Rangga, do you not know if Rangga has worked here?" ask Ana.

"Then I had a meeting with him. What are you guys talking about? why didn't you ask me for permission?" ask Rio.

"Rangga right my son-in-law candidates do they have to be allowed to do it too?" ask Ana.

Without answering the question of his wife Rio came out of his room towards Rangga's room, Rio asked for all the reports he ordered to Rangga, Rio also checked all the reports that Rangga made.

"Fix it and make it right!!" Rio returned all his laporns to Rangga.

Rio left rangga towards his room, Ana who saw the incident was instantly angry towards Rio.

"Can't you be a good mentor to my future son-in-law? like what you did to Adit and your former office employees"

"I won't decide until I make sure Rangga is the right person" Rio said.

"What kind of person do you want to find again?"

"I just want to make sure she's really the right person for our daughter."

"Whatever, I'm tired of seeing your attitude" Ana, who didn't want to argue with her husband, chose to leave her office.

A few days passed, Ana still saw Rangga arrive late to the office, Ana asked the reason why Rangga arrived late.

"Yesterday I made a report until 11:30 p.m., it happened that my boarding was a bit far from here so I was a bit late. I apologize Madam, I promise this is the last time" said Rangga, bowing his body.

"Can I see the report you made?" ask Ana.

"Of course, ma'am, come"

Ana walks into Rangga's study, followed by Rangga from behind, as soon as she gets to her study, Rangga gives all her reports to Ana.

"I borrowed your report" Ana brought all of Rangga's reports to her room and placed them before her husband.

"My father never did this to you, why are you so evil to Rangga?" ask Ana.

"I just want Rangga to learn a lot" said Rio.

"learned? Rangga is one of the best students at American University, you still doubt it? Please, be a good mentor and friend to him, know him more deeply from various sides then you decide what Rangga is the right person for our daughter. If Tyshia knew what you were doing to Rangga, she would be very disappointed in you" Ana said.

Rio seemed to think for a moment, what he said his wife did have a point, since the incident Rio was being kinder to Rangga.
