Almekia Kingdom
104. Jasper - Cemetery (2)

"Jasper?.don't tell me." Zircon was shocked to hear Ruby's reply and I could only gape in amazement.

'Are you the King's father? You're the Jasper that Ruby meant?' my screams in my heart.

"I remember the only one my father thought of as a brother was that guy named Jasper. It must be his tomb." Ruby replied with a little digging into her memories.

"Jasper? Jasper Durchlauch? The late King's Majesty?" I was very curious about his words.

"I don't know if he's the same guy. Jasper's my father's brother with Jasper your father." Ruby said it with a tone of regret.

"Where? Where's your father's brother's belly? Where's Jasper's grave?" my question is getting more urgent.

"I, I don't know exactly where the tomb is. That must be in this cemetery complex" Ruby looked a little afraid of seeing impatience from me.

"Yes, where is it?" My voice has gone up an octav without me preventing it.

"Jes, calm down." Zircon stood between me and Ruby. Maybe she's afraid I'm gonna hurt Ruby if she can't give me an answer.

With frustration and curiosity that peaked I immediately switched from my two friends. I walked around the cemetery. Check one by one the tombstones and writings engraved there. Search and keep looking, hoping to find the name. Hoping to find a tombstone bearing my father's name.

Zircon and Ruby seemed to understand what I was thinking and wanted to find. The two also toured the cemetery, looking from one tomb to another. Help me find my father's name.

I paused for a moment after going around for a few rounds. Without the results I got. The name of the king's father I can't find anywhere.

'Where? Where are you father?'

I watched the whole cemetery carefully. My father was a king. It must be that the moloseum is much more magnificent than the others. It means it can't be around here.

As far as I go around and read the various names on the tombstone, there are indeed many nobles with all their titles buried here. But I did not read any of the names of the kings who lived in this cemetery complex.

'It means not here. The funerals of kings and queens are not here, but where?'

I circulated once again my gaze in all directions and I found the tops of the larger and magnificent domed buildings. The number is quite a lot but separated by a considerable distance.

The vaulted buildings are hidden and covered with lush green shady trees. Far away there, on a small island located in the middle of the lake of eternity.

"There!" I pointed to the island in the middle of the lake.

"Where? At lake?" Zircon asked in confusion.

"You mean on the island in the middle of the lake?" Ruby's asking seems to catch my point.

"How do we get there?" my many.

"There is a boat deck near the temple. There must be a boat there too." Said Ruby.

Without further ado, I moved from my position before us to walk towards the temple. Stepping at a fast pace as if not wanting to waste a second of time.

Ruby and Zircon followed in my footsteps from behind. We walked all the way to the temple, past it and continued walking along the edge of the lake to a wooden boat deck.

And sure enough on the deck piling seen rope ties that connect with a wooden rowboat that is leaning next to the deck.

"We can use this boat." Zircon observed the boat closely. Then we both got ahead of us to board the boat. Check if this boat is safe for us to climb three at once.

"Pure. Can be boarded." Zircon told us.

Zircon reached out his hand to help Ruby down the deck and board the boat, sitting in her seat in the middle. I followed them both on the boat. Walk to the end of the boat. To keep the balance, Zircon and I were at the end and Ruby in the middle of the boat.

"Where to run it?" I'm a little confused. I've never been on a traditional boat like this.

"You paddle from the front side. I set the back side. Simply flap the paddle against the water in the opposite direction to our destination." Zircon replied while giving an example of flapping his paddle and making our boat move a few centi meters forward.

"If you want faster can use a little inner power. But not much. Fear the boat will be toppled because the force is too big." Ruby gave us some advice.

Zircon and I just nodded in response. Concentrate on rowing with a little exertion in us with moderate and stable strength. Slowly but surely our boat started moving, leaving the edge of the lake. Getting to the middle and getting closer to the island in the middle of the lake. Closer and closer.

Ruby dipped her hand in the water. Play the fingers by stirring the water on the surface of the lake. The girl occasionally splashed the lake water on Zircon, teasing him. Zircon just smiled in response to Ruby's mischief. Again both of them acted as if the world belonged to both of them and I was just a contract person. God fucking.

A few minutes later we arrived at the edge of a small island in the middle of the lake. I'm ahead of Zircon and Ruby to jump down the boat. Immediately rushed and ran towards the dome-roofed building I saw from the cemetery complex earlier. To the right wing of the island.

I found a magnificent and large, roofed moleum with a clean white dome. The entire building is made of shiny marble and will not be damaged in time. Right in the middle of the building there are two rectangular shapes the size of a coffin. One of them was empty and overgrown with grass while one of them resembled a tombstone.

I walked closer to the tomb. The tomb was made of smooth and very shiny marble stone in black. On top of the stone was engraved with beautiful letters like written calligraphy that I had long been looking for:

*This is in peace

The Jasper Soltnse Durchlaucth

A tough soldier

Beloved husband

A beloved father

Favourite friend

Great king of the kingdom of Almekiah

May the namamya remain everlasting in the splendor and glory of the Almekia Kingdom*

My eyes were wide open to see the tombstone bearing the name of the King's father. Something he had been looking for and coveting for a long time. I read it over and over again to make sure that what I saw was real. It's not just my fantasy or my dream. I even pinched my own arm a few times, convincing myself that I was not dreaming.

'Ayahanda.I finally found you.'

I sat down and fell on the tombstone, as if my bones had softened for a moment. Weak and powerless. I tightly embraced the tombstone, my father's tombstone. I finally found the tomb, the tomb of my father. The last place where my father's body lay.

My tears just flowed unstoppably. I cried roaring, laughing and and smiling all at once. Like crazy people it feels.

All tastes like mixed and overlapping filled my whole soul and my feelings. Pleasure, pride, haru, sadness and sorrow all mixed into one. Fused and shaved blue in my chest.

"Yahujana...Ayahand..." My sap while gently stroking my father's tombstone.

Zircon and Ruby caught up and approached me after tethering the boat safely. They approached and observed the tombstone I was hugging in great shock. Astonishment is also how I was able to find my father's tomb precisely. It was as if someone had led me there unconsciously.

Ruby sprinkled flowers from the last basket she had brought since. Sprinkled it around the mamer tombstone that I still hold tightly. Zircon knelt down and lightly patted my back, as if congratulating me on finding my father's grave.

"Your son is an adult, Father. Ii'm sorry...Forgive me for never visiting you before. Forgive me for not knowing about you. Forgive me for being such an unfilial son to you..." I sobbed speaking to my father's tombstone. I wish he could hear it.

"Ayahanda, I will take care of your mother for you. I'll make it happy for you...And I will also guard your kingdom. Continuing the glory of the kingdom you fought for by risking your life." I continued while continuing to hug and caress the marble headstone.

I sat there for a long time and kept looking and hugging and caressing the tombstone. As if to release a deep longing for a father I had never even met. My tears flowed as if unstoppable, flowing and continuing to flow soaking the marble tombstone.

While Zircon and Ruby left me, a little bit away. To be able to give me more privacy and free time with my father's grave. Let me speak and pour out all the feelings I want to say and express to the late King's father.
