Almekia Kingdom

Almekia Kingdom
107. Diamond - Bloodline

I don't know how long I've been asleep in this healing tube. As soon as I opened my eyes I found my body still in the healing tube, with a warm yellow light covering the entire surface of my body.

"You've built Diamond?" Amethys smiled welcomingly and approached me. Pressing the button to open the tube that covers my body.

Slowly I got up from my sleep. I slowly moved my body to regain my consciousness. It felt lighter as if all my tiredness had just disappeared. It was as if my energy and stamina were filled to the brim.

"What time is this? How long have I been sleeping?" I lost my time orientation.

"Three o'clock in the afternoon. You only slept two hours." Amethys handed me the shirt I had taken off before entering the tube. Soon I put the shirt back on and slightly tidied up my appearance.

"Amys..." I said with my mind still floating. Not fully aware of my deep sleep.

"Yes? Wh why? Do you need anything?" ask Amy ready.

"I'm hungry..." And the first thing I felt was my tummy. The worms in it seemed to have done a demo by beating my intestines to sound crutches.

"Goldy had prepared a lunch in the meeting room. You wanna go there? Or I'll just bring your food here?" Amy made an offer.

"I'll be there. Oiya the pick-up troupe has arrived?" I walked slowly out of the clinic room with Amy following me from behind.

"Of course, they came shortly after our arrival. Do you know who came to pick us up?"

"Who?" ask me in passing.

Whoever was sent to pick up these girls was most soldier rank sergeant or lieutenant. It's impossible to send a high-ranking official just to pick them up right?

"Your father. The prime minister's entourage."

"Huh? Daddy's? Dad's tumbens came out of the palace?" I was really surprised to hear that. It was a step until Dad came out of the palace.

"It looks like they just finished diplomatic negotiations with the Saxan kingdom about the boundary of the West Line border region." Amy explained.

"Oh, so it seems..." Our conversation stopped when we arrived at the meeting room.

Soon I entered the room and found a group of five. Three people were sitting there, while the other two were standing on standby behind them. My father was the prime minister, the foreign minister Uncle Gildart, the secretary of state and two of the ministry's bodyguards.

"Colonel Diamond Lionheart faces the prime minister." I approached my father and paid his formal respects. My father smiled and welcomed my respect, telling me to sit in the chair right in front of him.

Amethys also did a polite homage to his father and foreign minister before he finally took a seat next to me.

"The prime minister's report. A prisoner rescue mission on behalf of Sergeant Opal Sumeragi and Platina Newgate has been successfully carried out. I've brought both rescue targets to the safe area of the West Line." I gave a report before my father even asked for it.

"In addition I also managed to bring Saphir Lionheart which we happened to find in the city of Bloody Hell. While Sergeant Zircon Zancovick and prince Jasper Durclauth haven't been able to find his whereabouts." I gave an official report on my rescue mission to my father and the two high officials in front of me.

"What about the abductors? Did you manage to subdue him?" The foreign minister asked me curiously.

"Our top priority is to rescue the hostages. So I should have taken the peaceful path to negotiate with them." I gave you an answer. "There are indeed a few small battles, but our focus is not to subdue them."

"All reports are accepted." I was impressed to quickly end my report. Maybe he was afraid I would be released. Something that should still be a secret to the kingdom.

"Have you guys eaten?" Ask my father in a more relaxed tone. Deliberately diverting our attention and conversation. "Eat first. Don't worry about us."

Amy and I nodded and smiled in response. We immediately took the plate and filled it with various dishes presented at the table. We also ate and enjoyed our food with great pleasure.

Especially me, I was really hungry after the healing process earlier. It was as if the entire food reserve in my body was used up all to carry out the healing process.

"Much better" I answered briefly. While continuing to bribe and chew my food.

"Your mother is very worried about you. But seeing you eat like this seems like her worries are futile." Said my father and was immediately greeted with laughter by everyone present in this room.

"Oh come on, dad, I'm hungry. I'm in a healing period, I need more nutrition." My answer is to quibble, looking for justification of my appetite that does look excessive.

"If you see how you are now. I also wouldn't believe that you're still in a coma in the hospital, with seventeen gunshot wounds a month ago." Uncle Gildart the foreign minister commented.

"In just one month you can return to duty and complete difficult missions perfectly. Absolutely amazing ability, Colonel Diamond." Continue to give me compliments.

"No, Uncle was wrong. I'm still very weak. Uncle would have laughed at me if he knew how long I could last riding the gear." I replied with a snort of resignation given my weakness.

"Are you even able to drive private gear?" Uncle Gildart again asked in astonishment. "Your son is very tough, Prime Minister. You must be so proud of him." Uncle Gildart did not heed my complaints, instead he commented to father.

Whether it was just my feelings or what, I could see a glimpse of my father's face hardening and he slightly twitched his teeth. Was he unhappy with the praise for me as his son? Is he not proud to have me as his son?

"Finish your meal, then meet me in the next room." Suddenly, Dad got up from his chair. Give my father's orders to me before he gets out of his seat, leaving our room.

I could only frown upon hearing orders from him. What the fuck? Do you want to tell me something? Something that is secret and cannot be known by others?

Quickly I finished my meal procession, then I decided to retreat and followed my father away from the meeting room. "I'll go uncle."

"Well go before your father gets upset waiting for you." Uncle Gildart agreed that I should see you as soon as possible.

I just smiled and greeted him. Not even Uncle Gildart who was a minister dared to make my father wait too long. Dad turned out to be very terrible as a Prime Minister of the Almekia Kingdom.

Knock on the door and enter the smaller meeting room. I found my father sitting alone in one of the chairs. Seemed to be pensive to think of something while occasionally knocking the questioner to the table.

"I come father" I said to him, telling him my arrival.

"Come here I want to talk to you." He pointed to the chair right in front of him.

"What's dad?" I took a seat in the chair he appointed, in front of my father. I can see his unusual appearance. My father doesn't usually tell this story, it looks like he's going to talk something very serious.

"Diamonds...You are my son no matter what. Your mother and I are so proud of you. Proud to have you as our son." My father started the conversation. A conversation I don't know what it means. Why is he talking about this?

"I know..." I'm really confused now how to react. Can't guess which way our conversation will go.

"Have you ever thought how you could have pure solaris blood?" ask him to investigate.

"Often. But I know you're also pure solaris. So I think I got the dominant gene from dad." My answer is to give a little argument.

"You're right, I'm a pure solarist." My father paused for a moment and took his breath out slowly.

"But Agatha, my wife is not a descendant of the solaris race. There's no way you'd have pure blood if you were our son." Follow my father in a sad tone.

'Haaaaah? What did you mean by his words?'
