85. Zircon - Long Time No See

The day of the final match of the Bloody Hell tournament finally arrived as well. I am so excited to face this day. The surge of adrenaline hormone in my body seemed to increase sharply adding to the excitement that entered my soul.

Right at noon I went to the tournament hall from my inn. It's a long game but I want to stop by somewhere before the game. Jasper and Saphir went somewhere first. Maybe they took advantage of their time together while they were free outside the palace. Dating.

"You don't want to see him?" Opal asked me suddenly to divert the conversation.

"Who?"

"Who else? If it wasn't Diamond. When was the last time you saw her?" Opal said something that I already knew the answer to.

"In palace. Before the Jasper test"

"Yes, that's been a long time. Your final is still a few hours away, right?Meet him, Diamond must have missed you so much. He's in the clinic now" Opal advises.

"All right, I'll be there. You wanna come?" I made an offer. I don't know why it still feels a little awkward to say hello to Diaomond.

The woman placed the finished peeled apple in her hand onto a plate on the table right next to Diamond's bed. Then he received a tray containing the Diamond's food container earlier. Then took the tray away, passed leaving us both in the room.

Brother Amethys smiled sweetly as he passed me, seen once deliberately give time for me and Diamond alone.

"You look better" I said as I approached my best friend. By looking at it at a glance it was already known that the state of his body was much better than the last time I saw him in the central hospital of the palace.

"Zirc, sorry. It seems like once again a heavy burden should be on your shoulders," Diamond began our conversation.
