Not A LOVER, but....!

In a white room with transparent glass featuring beautiful natural scenery from the outdoor second floor lecturer room (Raffa). Two men were chatting while waiting for their coffee orders to be delivered to them. One man was serious with his laptop while the middle was cool to talk by asking questions to his fellow speakers who were still serious.

"Raffa how is itikharah? Got an answer?" asked the man to Raffa and Raffa immediately responded to the question from his closest friend

"Alhamdulillah already Dam" looked towards Adam Miqdad Hanafie

"So who's best for this handsome and authoritative lecturer?" ask Adam back

"You guessed it yourself, Dam! You know what Raffa looks like?" the word Raffa calls itself with a grin that suggests he is nothing. He can have everything in His power and mercy.

Adam crossed his right hand, nodded his left hand with his thumb and forefinger holding his chin, frowned and fused his eyebrows. Adam really thought hard to guess.

"Have ... been Adam Miqdad Hanafie! No need as soon as I will tell" Raffa who did not have the heart to see his closest friend thought so hard

"Please wait Raffa Abhimanyu!" Adam stopped Raffa from saying what he wanted to know, "this is Raffa, God knows you are a kind and committed man. Despite many trials you will try to stay back on your commitment. So I'm sure God showed you to be faithful to your beloved"

"NOT LOVER!" raffa's light sounded so clear in Adam's ears. While Adam grew more incredulous and strange thoughts entered his head.

Raffa just smiled understanding what Adam was thinking. He continued his words, too,

"But the prospective fiancee as well as the future wife"

With sparkling eyes and happiness Adam said, "God, congratulations Mr. Raffa! Congrats! You'll go ahead of me" reached out to Raffa and shook hands

"Thank you, Adam, I hope you'll catch up after this"

Adam just smiled stiffly and scratched his non-itchy temple.

A few minutes later their coffee order has been delivered by an employee at the coffee shop located in the campus/university area. They both brewed the hot coffee they had been waiting for.

After drinking it Raffa again stared at the laptop screen and his fingers were still cool typing but the man who had met Raffa in the room had asked a series of questions, now the man shook his eyes and saw two slices of sandwiches in a transparent white box. Adam also thought in his heart "This suitable friend has coffee there is a sandwich"

Adam immediately asked Raffa about the sandwich, "Raffa?"

Raffa looked at Adam and raised his chin as a sign to Adam. Adam responded with an eye gesture that directed his eyes to the transparent white box on the minimalist table in the room.

"Sandwich?" ask Raffa to Adam

Adam nodded with a pretty sweet smile to a woman when he saw Adam's current smile, but it's a pity that there's no woman in the room because Raffalah saw her so it's nothing special to Raffa. After all, a woman's smile is better because she is a normal man. (the girl docked for Adam baper!😂)

Adam got up and took the transparent white box and opened it and ate it,

"Still good?" raffa asked because she forgot that sandwich this morning

"Still" replied Adam who continued to devour the sandwich,"

"Maybe that's the blessing that his name makes from the heart"

"Oh yeah didn't you say that you were going to be late and might buy breakfast?" ask Adam to remember something, "yes, even though you're the least happy if you have to buy food for breakfast" continued Adam know what likes and dislikes Raffa

Hearing the statement Adam Raffa replied and explained, "The sandwich was not my creation but...Ayunda who gives as a sign of gratitude for lending a handkerchief"

Adam almost choked on hearing it because he was sipping his coffee back after eating the sandwich.

"Be careful Adam!" raffa reminded

"Yes yes Raff but how do you deal with all this?"

"Hows it? This is the sustenance of son sholih. Adam!" raffa obviously told Adam his sidekick

"Yes Raffa, right?" Adam was still trying to avoid that it could be a sign of return

Raffa got up from his seat facing himself towards the eye-cooling green scene while saying,

"How about Dam? I don't know for sure but from the look in Ayunda's eyes he was like having feelings for me"

Adam came up to Raffa, "Is Raffa really? So what are you gonna do?"

"What am I going to do? I'll choose Adam!"

"You mean Raff?"

"Yes, for sure, is a hint of this direction, if the problem of his feelings Ayunda, I do not know for sure. Could it be just me who went to GR an and anyways now my heart is also steady on my prospective fiancee as well as my future wife!"

"Any right, too!" Adam agreed, "may all be spared by God"

Raffa guaranteed with great hope.

Adam had sat back while Raffa was still standing looking at the surroundings. Adam tried to melt the atmosphere to comfort Raffa.

"Raff, so how come you didn't take me to your engagement event?

"I don't think it's necessary for Adam" Raffa replied with a small laugh

"ah! I thought you would answer that" said Adam with a look of annoyance and indifference

Raffa laughed even more when he accidentally saw Adam's expression, "Adam Miqdad Hanafie I can't bear if you have to get carried away later when you see that impressive moment" raffa answered back to his seat, approaching Adam

Adam looked at Raffa with a pretty sharp look and said, "Well you win and I admit defeat" patting Raffa on the shoulder

Soon the sound of laughter of the two broke the engineering tension they had created themselves.
