Back To Me (Byun Baekhyun)

Now that Hana and Baekhyun were home, they were still silent to each other. The man sitting on the living room sofa was busy working on something on his laptop, while Hana just stared at him from the dining table while holding Hyuna.

The dinner he imagined would be fun to celebrate Hyuna's birthday falling right tomorrow doesn't seem to be happening. Lookie! The man even forgot about it.

Suddenly Hyuna cried, making Hana's attention now return to the princess.

"Hyuna, are you sleepy?" Hana carried her daughter and rubbed her back to calm her down.

"Let's go to sleep" Hana then brought Hyuna into the child's room. He put his little bed to sleep, while he sat on the floor with the head he put on the side of Hyuna's bed.

It seemed that Hyuna was indeed sleepy, the little one fell asleep not long after Hana put her to bed.

Hana now looked at Hyuna, holding her tiny hand, and tears fell down her cheeks.

"I'm sorry mom?"

"Mom can't be a good mother to you yet."

"It's also a good wife to your father."

"Hiuna..."

"How's this? Mom's chest is so tight, your dad must be hard to forgive mom, right?"

Hana tried hard so that her crying did not cause a noise that would wake Hyuna up, she cried in silence until she did not feel she fell asleep in the position as described earlier.

Baekhyun finally shuts down his laptop after a few hours of distracting himself by working on something for his company.

It was already 10pm, and when Baekhyun entered the room, Hana was not there. The man finally came out and went to Hyuna's room, where he could find the woman he loved sleeping on the floor. Baekhyun sighed, he finally stepped up to carry Hana to the room.

He was very careful to lift up Hana's body, so that the woman would not wake up. But suddenly, Hana's hand coiled around her neck, making Baekhyun know that Hana was awake. Even so, Baekhyun still brought Hana to his room.

Hana was laid by Baekhyun on their bed, and without saying anything else, he was about to walk away again but was immediately restrained by Hana.

"Where are you going?" Hana asked who finally opened her eyes.

"Just get out of the room" Baekhyun replied still flat.

"You didn't want to talk to me about that? I know I'm wrong, I'm sorry, and even if it doesn't make sense, I still have an excuse."

Baekhyun now took his hand out of Hana's hand but turned his head toward his wife who was now sitting on the bed.

"It definitely doesn't make sense. I never forbid anything you want to do. What makes you happy. As long as it's within reasonable limits, I never forbid it."

"So what else made you lie to me? I'm not the stifling husband that ended up making you lie to me, am I?"

"You're too perfect for me, you know? Like you said, you're not a stifling husband, you're never selfish, you never demand anything from me. That's exactly what makes me finally hesitant to be honest with you, I feel I don't know myself if I have to be honest I want to play, I want to have fun, while there are children and husbands who are my responsibility."

"And as a result of your lies I feel small. I don't feel like I can make my own wife comfortable being honest with me."

Hana shook her head, again her tears had returned to freefall.

The woman grabbed Baekhyun's hand, "No. Not salahmu. You're a good husband. I told you you were the perfect husband, Baek. My mistake. Big mistake, I know. I'm sorry."

"Do you also know Hana, how I feel when you know you can lie to me? You know what I'm so afraid of? If you could have lied to me, maybe you could have betrayed me later, you could have done what my mother did to my father, cheated on me, because it all started with a lie, Hannah."

Hana could hear the vibrations from her voice. Why didn't Hana think it was there? Why Hana could forget Baekhyun's trauma. He had worked hard to build Baekhyun's trust for himself, to love him, and now Hana had destroyed it.

As Chanyeol said.

"Baekhyun hates lies."

"Baekhyun hates betrayal."

Because the last time he experienced it all, he lost his mother.

"What do I have to do so you can forgive me?" Hana glanced, she had again reached for her husband's hand.

"It's about being easy, forgiving you isn't hard Hana. But...." Baekhyun paused his words, he took a deep breath because his chest was extremely painful because his past memories were recorded in his brain again.

"This fear, I'm afraid of Hana. Do you know what ever made me not want to get married? This fear. I'm afraid something I'm worried about will actually happen. Don't make me regret loving you, Hana."

Hana shook her head, she immediately got up and hugged Baekhyun tightly. Hana herself would not forgive herself if Baekhyun's trauma returned because of her. Hana stupid. He knows it.

"I won't do it."

"I'm here, with you."

"I'm sorry Baekhyun. Sorry."

"Don't regret loving me, Baekhyun."

"I need that love."

"Don't be afraid, I won't lie anymore. Smallest whatever. I swear."

"Please trust me back, please."

Baekhyun finally returned his wife's embrace, his face sunk by the neck of Hana and wept there.

"You--- won't go like mom, will you?" Baekhyun.

Hana shook her head, "Never. I'm right here. With you, huh?"
