CHAPTERS 10. MEET VICKY

"Grandfather.." said Kian lirih. He immediately approached the grandfather and smiled. As much as possible he hid the sadness in his eyes even though Kian himself was not sure whether Grandpa Bimo had seen their quarrel or not.

"What's Grandpa? Does Grandpa need anything?" ask Kian. Grandpa Bimo was speechless looking at the two eyes of the girl who still looked red. 

"none. Grandpa was just looking for Rama. Grandfather was afraid if he was late because today there was a meeting with an important client from abroad. But it looks like he's gone. Thank goodness then. This is an important meeting for the company so as much as possible do not make the slightest mistake," explained Grandpa Bimo.

Kian smiled bitterly. He remembered that those words had also come out of Rama's mouth. Yes, important meeting. The man even said that he had prepared everything since last night. Unfortunately, he destroyed everything. 

"Is it because of me, that their company is going to run into trouble?" batin Kian asked.

"Alright then Grandpa goes first. Grandpa also had to go to the office immediately so as not to be late," Grandpa Bimo said with a smile.

"Grandfather.." call Kian who then stopped the step of the grandfather who was just about to leave.

"Why son?" grandpa Bimo replied while turning around.

"I. I want to apologize" Kian said again. Grandpa Bimo frowned in surprise.

"I'm sorry? Apologize why son?"

"I.. I.." There's a fear in Kian's heart to reveal everything. Rama just went berserk, especially Grandpa Bimo, he thought.

"What's Lian about? Let's just say it!"

"I'm sorry Grandpa. I've destroyed the important files created by Mas Rama for the meeting now," Kian said, looking down and closing his eyes. He was ready to receive all the rage from the old man in front of him.

Grandpa Bimo was fixated for a moment. He did not expect that the quarrel of the grandson turned out to start from the file file. Earlier, when Grandpa Bimo was about to meet Rama in his room, he had heard the sound of Rama's snapping there. He also had heard when Rama told him about himself who never considered if there was a marriage between them. Grandpa Bimo was hiding when Rama opened the door. And then walked closer after seeing the grandson leave.

Grandpa Bimo took a deep breath and threw it away slowly. He smiled then rubbed the top of Kian's head.

"There is no need to think too much. Accidents are common. It's okay" said Grandpa Bimo. Kian.

"But Grandpa's meeting…"

"We'll see later. Grandfather believes whatever will happen must be the best for our company. Grandpa's gone first."

Kian nodded. Although Grandpa Bimo continued to talk while smiling to calm Kian, but the woman could still see clearly there was a disappointed and worried look on Grandpa's face. And that made her feel even more guilty.

"Where are you going, son? It's afternoon already. Soon night. Not usually you go out at this hour," said Ms. Araya, mother of Kian and also Lian.

That afternoon the clock on the wall had shown at 5 when Lian had dressed very neatly and said goodbye to the mother. He left immediately before his father and grandfather came home from the office. Lian knew that until she was a little late, the father would definitely lecture her and might even make everyone suspicious. Yes, as said by the mother, Kian is not the type of girl who likes to go out in the afternoon, especially until late at night. This time, he promised to meet his girlfriend. So inevitably Lian had to do what Kian never did.

"There's an important event with a friend, Mom." replied Lian and then left immediately before the mother asked again.

"What's the important way, son?" shouted the mother. But Lian has already left on his bike.

The bike stopped right at a nightclub. A place that although the day is still said to be afternoon but in fact the place has been filled with visitors. Lian opened her thick jacket until she had her short shirt in sight. While the trousers were used, he simply ignored them.

"Darling…" 

There was the sound of a man calling in the middle of the music. Lian immediately smiled as she recognized the figure of who had called her. Half-running, she approached the man and then hugged him very tightly.

"Darling, I miss you so much" said Lian spoiledly in Vicky's arms.

"Me too, dear" replied the man.

Vicky put back his arms and kissed the lover's lips. Without the slightest surprise, Lian even replied to the pagutan from the man. They stopped after feeling deprived of oxygen.

Although in front of them there are some people who are friends of Vicky and Lian, but the couple is indifferent to show affection between them.

"Oh bro, if you want to make out, find a hotel room there. Not here!" said Leo, Vicky's friend.

"Ah like you and Mery not only.. You're even worse, to the point of groping around in public" Vicky replied and made everyone laugh.

Lian sat down to join them. Since he knew Vicky, Lian has become familiar with the night world with a million relationships. Lian was even used to it. He even occasionally likes to taste alcohol given by the lover. Not much but enough to make Lian dizzy. The only two things Lian doesn't want to do is take drugs and make love. Although occasionally Vicky always persuaded him to want to do it but for this one Lian's stance is very strong.

"It's a shame that since you pretended to be Kian, we've met so rarely" said Vicky, twirling Lian's black hair.

Lian turned her head and hugged the man and leaned her head against his chest.

"Yes, how else. My and my nature are very different. Actually, I'm also tired of continuing to compete to be a good boy who is obedient like Kian. I want to be free as before. But if my family finds out, especially my dad, I'm gonna be fired as a member of their family."

"That means that all the facilities you have now will be gone?" ask Vicky. Lian nodded.

"Including treating us every time we meet?"

It has become a routine habit if every time they meet, both together or with friends like now, Lian is the one who always pays for everything. This was one of the reasons they liked Lian so much and kept trying to get close to her. Likewise with Vicky who does not want to lose this running ATM.

"I still haven't found a way that we can meet every day like before" Lian said, upholding her seat. Everyone was silent for a while until finally Vicky's voice was heard.

"I have an idea…"
