CHAPTER 2. EXCHANGING IDENTITIES

“Then what do you want now? This marriage has already happened and can't just be undone? What are you going to do?”

Kian still continued to look at his twin brother who was thinking. What the brother said was true. The marriage contract had already happened and he couldn't possibly cancel it. "Dad will never listen to me!"

"There's no way out, Kian. There ain't! The only way out is for you to take my place as Mas Rama's wife" shouted Lian who brought the scissors closer to her chest.

Panic with what was done by the brother made Kian make a decision without thinking.

"All right.. I'll take your place to go to Mas Rama's house. I will take your place as his wife Mas Rama. Are you satisfied?"

Speech from Kian managed to stop the drama performed by Lian. The woman also smiled because again and again her brother who was so innocent that he could easily be fooled.

"Did you promise?" lian asked in a voice that began to calm down.

"Yes I promise" answered Kian with a still roaring breath even though a moment later a drop of water fell in the corner of his eye.

"Please promise me that you won't expose all of our secrets. Because if our secret is exposed, I'll make sure that you find my body right then and there" Lian threatened to return.

"Yes, I promise. Everything's gonna be fine. Relax!"

"Thank you Kian. You are my best brother. I'm really lucky to have a sister like you."
