CHAPTER 69. COME TO THE OFFICE

Vicky sat on the porch of Indra's house along with Lian. The woman wrapped her arms around the lover and rested her head on Vicky's shoulder. A smile was etched on Lian's lips. In the end he can also let go of longing by hugging the lover who has not met for a long time. 

The smile of happiness only happens to one side. Yes, only Lian seemed to be very happy with this meeting. While Vicky, even though what he wants has been given by Lian, but the man is still indifferent. It was like he lost his passion for that woman. No smile on Vicky's lips. The man was just silent with eyes that continued to stare focus towards his phone where clearly plastered mobile banking.

"Oh, baby," Lian took a deep breath and spoke to Vicky with her eyes closed. Enjoying every scent of that man's body that he hadn't breathed in in in a long time.

"Yesterday my father died" said Lian coldly. There is not a hint of sad face considering that the person who has contributed in his life has gone forever.

"Oh yeah?" said Vicky.

"Hm. He's having a heart attack."

"Ooh.." That's all Vicky said. There was no prayer or condolence from the man's mouth.

They both went back to silence. The atmosphere of the morning that has begun to be crowded in fact does not make these two lovebirds feel disturbed.

"Honey, it seems after this I'm a little difficult to give you money" said Lian. This time, it caught Vicky's attention.

"What do you mean?" he tilted his body a little hard so Lian's arms came off. His eyes stared intently at the woman in front of him.

"Yes dear. Our company was down. And because I stole the money yesterday, our company is now completely destroyed. Moreover, father no longer exists. And no one else can take care of the family company other than dad. I don't know if we're forced to shut down our company or not" Lian said.

Vicky was silent again. His forehead was slightly raised indicating that he was thinking. But I don't know what he's thinking.

"Darling, you're okay, right? You're not angry, are you?" lian asked with a look at the lover's face. Vicky was silent. He answered nothing.

After a moment of silence, Vicky suddenly stood up. His gaze returned cold and did not look towards Lian at all.

"It's noon. You better get home soon."

Short, solid, clear. That was the last word spoken by the man before he finally went back into the house of Indra without waiting for the lover to answer him. Lian looked towards Vicky who was missing after the door closed. It is very clear if the man does not want himself to catch up with him into the house. 

Lian took a deep breath. He is still very grateful to have been able to meet and hug the lover again after a long time did not meet. Yes, even in a short time. But the girl doesn't care. He is obviously very happy now.

Lian stood up and stepped out of the courtyard. Riding the motor maticnya. And just before the vehicle was driven, Lian had looked towards Indra's house. He still hoped that the lover would come back out to kiss his forehead and say until he met again. Or at least show his face from behind the window and wave his hand with a smile. But everything is empty. All the delusions that Lian had in mind only remained a delusion. Realizing all his wishes would not happen eventually Lian also drove her motorcycle away from the house.

Amarta's Group's main corporate office. Today it looks very crowded. The workers seemed to be busier than the days before. Some are typing, some are collecting files, there is even an office boy who goes back and forth delivering drink orders to the busy employees.

A young woman walked into the lobby. He walked towards the receptionist with a beautiful smile engraved on his red lips. Seeing who was coming, the receptionist immediately stood up.

"Mrs, you came here?" ask her a little bit with a bow.

"Yes. Is my husband here?" ask the woman.

"Mrs Lian, what are you doing here?" samir's words, which had just come out of the elevator, caught Kian's attention. There was a smile on Kian's face when he saw the man. But there was also a sense of tension, fear and anxiety that gnawed at his heart. Samir walked closer to Kian.

"I. yes," answered nervously.

"alright. Let me take you upstairs to his room," Samir invited himself. The woman nodded and began to follow the man.

No more words after that. Even when they were just the two of them in the elevator, they were both silent. Sometimes Kian steals a glance towards Samir who is now at his side. But the man looked very indifferent. Both eyes focused on looking ahead. And his attitude also felt so awkward. Different than usual.

"He why? Why is he quiet like this?" say Kian in the heart.

Little pee and then he started to open his voice.

"Samir are you okay?" ask Kian lirih. 

"I'm good Madam," Samir replied without turning his head towards Kian at all.

"Egypt. Why won't you see me? Are you mad at me? I know I was wrong but I can explain everything to you" Kian said.

"In a moment we reach the room of your husband, Madam" said Samir did not want to respond to what was said by Kian.

And sure enough, a moment later the elevator door opened. Kian stepped out but he turned back his body when he realized that the man did not come out.

"You're not coming?" ask Kian again.

"No Madam. You're going to meet your husband, aren't you? What am I there for?"

"But…"

"I still have a lot of work. Excuse me, ma'am," said Samir, then immediately he pressed the button to close the elevator door.

Kian was still silent staring at the elevator door that was closed tightly. He realized that his best friend must be very surprised and also disappointed after hearing that he was pregnant. But how would he explain everything if Samir's attitude was to him like this.

He slowly stepped back into the husband's room. A little knocking on the door until the sound of the command to enter from inside, then he opened the door of the room.

"Mas" said Kian. Rama, who was typing, turned to the door. He was very surprised when he found out his wife was coming there. 

Rama immediately stood up and walked quickly towards Kian.

"Darling you came here? What's up?"
