CHAPTER 38. DISILLUSIONED

Safira fell silent while dealing directly with Grandpa Bimo. Moreover, the face of Grandpa Bimo who usually always looks friendly and loving in front of Kian, but in front of Safira turned into a firm and fierce face like a businessman with cold hands. And this is Grandpa Bimo.

"Grandfather, Sapphira came.." Rama's speech was stopped by the grandfather's hand which gave him a signal not to make a sound. Grandpa Bimo again walked closer towards Sapphira.

"How are you doing Safira? How was your foreign adventurer for a year? Smoothly?" said Grandpa Bimo friendly but still his aura makes the fur Iuduk Safira bristling.

"Ba. good.." answered the woman stammered.

"good. Then why are you back here?"

"I miss Rama. I think Rama and I can…."

"Married???" cut grandpa Bimo smile. Sapphira swallowed her saliva hard.

"But my grandson belongs to someone else. So you can't get it" said Grandpa Bimo again casually. Safira looked at Rama who was silent.

"But do you know, for the past few days, Rama has always accompanied me. Every time he comes home from work, he comes to my apartment. We were always together and Rama never said he was married. And do you know, when I first saw Lian, your granddaughter introduced her as her brother, not his wife. Doesn't that mean Rama still loves me and still wishes he could be with me?" safira said in a proud tone. He did not like being urged that way by Grandpa Bimo. 

Rama rounded his eyes. He was shocked because of the thing that he and his wife had been hiding from the grandfather, now even dismantled by the lover himself. Rama looked at the grandfather's face slowly. He knew that the old man would be angry with him. 

But all of this was Rama's imagination. Because in reality, Grandfather Bimo did not look towards Rama at all. Let alone looking, glancing not even he did. Grandpa Bimo kept staring at Safira. And now his lips are smiling. A smile that not only surprised Rama but also Sapphira.

"I know," said Bimo's grandfather briefly.

Both Rama and Sapphira were again surprised by the short words of the grandfather. Tau? So all this time the grandfather knew if Rama always met Safira every day in his apartment? But who said it? Since when? And how could the old man just be quiet?

"Hmm, so you think I'm just a stupid old man you can fool with a little kid's game like this?" ask Grandpa Bimo. Rama and Sapphira were silent.

"I know everything. Have you forgotten who I am? I am Bimo Amarta. Owner of Amarta's Group. Do you think that this is a small thing that could escape my sight?"

"Grandfather, I can explain everything," said Rama stammered and ready to accept the anger of the grandfather for everything he had done.

"Yes. You must explain it to me." said Grandpa Bimo staring intently at the grandson.

Safira still looked at the couple of grandfathers and grandchildren in silence. How could he have been left so far? As long as he went abroad, whatever the father did to news of this magnitude they did not know. 

Grandpa Bimo looked back at the only woman in front of him. Looking at his slightly pursed forehead, made the grandfather smile again.

"Never blame your father if news like this does not reach your hands" said Bimo's grandfather who immediately awakened Sapphira's daydream.

"I've said it before, no, if I'm the owner of Amarta's Group, the largest company in the country. If I can figure out your childish plans easily then it is not difficult for me to make news of Rama's marriage so as not to get into the hands of the two of you" said Grandpa Bimo again.

"You are indeed an old man who sucks" cried Safira.

"Safira keep talking to my grandfather!" resolute Rama.

"DIAAMM!!!" The girl's screams are getting louder. He looked towards the lover.

"You are the same. I will not remain silent over all the cunning you have done to me. My father and I will avenge you all. Look, you'll all be sorry. You're all gonna be ruined!" yell Safira again. He's really frustrated now. All the plans that he had arranged in such a way actually failed altogether. The attack was too late. He had already lost a step too far from Grandpa Bimo.

"It's Safira. Stop that nonsense. You and also your father from the past until now are still only weak humans in my eyes. So no matter how high you shout and threaten, it will not make my heart tremble. Just tell your dear father. If he wants revenge, jump in on his own. No need to use your child as a tool. Like a coward" said Grandpa Bimo.

Safira could not take it anymore. After all, he had run out of words to make an oath to them. Everything's chaos. Everything's ending. And they had to devise a plan back from the beginning to be able to overthrow Grandpa Bimo. 

With emotion, Safira finally left the party. Rama almost called his name when his eyes met with the two sharp eyes of the grandfather who made himself undo the intention.

"And my grandfather also knew that you had forced your wife to keep everything from my grandfather. Aren't you ashamed to do that? As a husband, as a housekeeper, you ask your wife for permission to cheat on you? And tell him to keep quiet? Where's your conscience? Can't you feel how Lian feels when you do that?"

"I'm sorry, Mother" said Rama.

"Grandfather is very disappointed in you. Your behavior this time has really crossed the line. During this time grandfather educated you well, so that you can grow into a responsible man. And that's also why Grandpa appointed you CEO of Amarta's Group. But what are you doing? "Grandfather.." Rama's words were cut off by Kian's shout which called out to Grandpa Bimo while walking closer towards them.
