CHAPTER 86. HELP ME, MAS

Lian continued to run across the deserted streets. Sometimes he looked back where the four men were still chasing him. When he reached the fork in the road, a car seemed to be speeding up quickly. The glare of the car lights and the loud honking of the horn made the woman stop right in the middle of the road with both hands closing her eyes.

The squeaking sound of the car brakes being stepped on strongly by the driver sounded very shrill. And finally the car stopped exactly a few centimeters from Lian's body. Slowly Lian lowered her hand and opened her eyes. He tried to see who the owner of the car was. 

Hearing the voices of the four men calling out, Lian immediately ran up to the car door. With no one in it, the woman continued to bang on the car glass while asking for help. Her tears are flowing very hard. Only the driver of this car is the only hope he can survive the pursuit of the criminals.

Lian squatted down, she leaned her body behind the car. But his hand was still knocking on the car door. 

A moment later the car door opened. Then came out a man who stood before Lian who was crouching with the face she had drowned in her legs.

"Kian..?" call that guy.

Lian looked up quickly as she felt like she recognized the voice. His lips smiled and his hands immediately wiped his tears. Lian stood up, surged up and directly hugged the man very tightly.

"Mas.. Mas Rama's.. Help me, Mas" said Lian from behind the body of Rama. The man did not return Lian's embrace at all, but he let the woman hold him.

Lian let go of his embrace and pointed back where four men had arrived.

"They're after me, Mas. They're gonna hurt me. Help me, Mas. Help me," said Lian. He immediately moved behind Rama's back and hid there.

"Hey, give the woman to us! She is our boss' woman" said one of the men.

Rama looked towards Lian. He saw the woman's condition was very messy. Messy hair, a face full of tears and sweat, thin sleeping clothes that have been dirty, also barefoot feet that continue to bleed. Lian shook her head gesturing if what the man said was a lie.

"What if I don't want to hand it over to you?" asked Rama coldly.

"Don't be your hotshot!" snarl one of the men. His hand pounded the front of the car violently and it made the emotions in Rama's heart grow. Rama clenched his hands tightly and looked at them with a murderous glare.

Getting such a defiant gaze, made the four men provoked with emotion. They started to attack Rama. The men advanced forward so that their fight could be slightly away from Lian.

Lian was still hiding beside the car. Sometimes he covered his mouth with his hands when there was one blow from the criminal that managed to hit the body of Rama. The five men continued to fight. Lian just found out if it turns out that her husband is very good at martial arts. In just a matter of minutes, the four men of the Roni boss fell defeated with battered faces. They went from there with their oaths to Ramah. One of them even threatened that his boss, Roni boss, would not stay silent. Boss Roni will definitely destroy Rama.

After the four men left, Rama began to walk closer to Lian. The woman was still crying while sitting on the street. His body still seemed to tremble. Seeing the condition of the woman, the annoyance inside Rama instantly disappeared instantly. Now there is only pity. The man crouched down to align his body with Lian.

"Kian," call Rama. His hand touched Lian's shoulder.

Immediately Lian hugged the man tightly. 

"I'm scared, Mom. I'm afraid! They. they will.." Lian continued to rummage between her sobs. Rama could feel a deep fear in the woman.

"That's it. Its alright. It's all over. You're fine" cut Rama.

"But they. They'll be back. They're coming back after me."

Rama asks Lian to get into his car. Once everything was ready, the man started driving again. He occasionally glanced at the woman who was now sitting beside him. It's really fucked up.

"Where do you want me to take you? Don't you live with your mother anymore? Uh wait didn't you ever tell me that you live out of town because there's a job there?" ask Rama. He knows maybe this is not the right time to ask that question. But he's not confused where to take Lian? Lian just kept quiet.

"Would you like to go back to my house to meet Lian?"

"Mas, I'm dizzy." 

Instead of answering Rama's question, Lian instead said that she was dizzy. Rama looked at his feet that were already red with blood. He realized that this woman had lost a lot of blood. And it was not the house he had to go to but the hospital.

Rama immediately drove his car towards the nearest hospital. When he arrived at the hospital, Rama saw that Lian was unconscious. She was forced to hold Lian and put her to bed in the gurney and some sisters pushed her into the ER room.

I don't know what Rama had last night. To the extent that he had to wait in front of the ER room twice in the present day. The man began to think whether he should contact his wife and tell her the condition of his twin brother or not.
