Blooming At It's Time

Blooming At It's Time
²⁸ Night Activities

Everyone knows, as a result of cancelling an appointment with Shella last night. Alden knows very well himself in trouble today. Sure enough, Shella ignored all the messages even her phone. Alden begins to feel sick of pursuing Shella's forgiveness, so he chooses to ignore his phone. Maybe Alden didn't feel it, but his attitude towards Shella clearly looked different. Alden, who is now, seems more indifferent to the emotions of Shella.

After finishing the pile of work, Alden was finally able to go home. There was not much he thought about on the way, but as his car passed the toast cart, Alden pulled over and stopped. He bought a packet of Alora's favorite peanut toast. He thought, maybe this little thing could comfort Alora.

Arriving home, Alden saw the same scene as last night. Alora sleeps in the middle room while watching television. Alden did not go straight into the room, he approached Alora to see the broadcast she was watching. Alden grimaced, when he saw the soap opera that Alora watched. Then Alden put a packet of toast he bought, on the table.

"Do you like watching soap operas?"

"What's that?" Alora immediately woke up from her sleep, to open the package Alden gave.

"Yeah! My favorite!"

Alden smiled slightly, looking at Alora's sparkling eyes as soon as he saw the package in plastic. Alora immediately opened the package, while Alden switched to the room. Alora immediately devoured her favorite toast, without waiting for Alden who was busy bathing and changing clothes.

"God! Don't run it yourself!" Alden protest, as soon as the night routine is over. Alora was indifferent, her eyes only fixed on the television screen while chewing on toast.

"Well eat?" Ask Alora.

"Not yet." Alden sat down next to Alora, and took a piece of toast for him to eat.

But before the scrumptious piece entered his mouth, it turned out that Alora had first snatched it. Alora put the piece of toast back down and said, "Don't eat this. Eat some rice."

Then Alora got up from her seat and headed for the kitchen.

"What are you cooking?"

"Sweet sour boiler... Was..."

"Huh?"

"out. Hehe..." Alora grinned, while showing the plate containing the rest of the seasoning with a little shrimp cut.

"Not to talk!" Alden was upset. He immediately ate one piece of toast, to just fill his empty stomach.

"I made fried rice." Alora did not wait for Alden's approval, and was immediately busy with her activities in the kitchen. "I don't think you eat malems at home."

"Hm..."

"Tumbens? Aren't they?"

"No."

"Ooh... Stuffed."

Alden turned his head towards the kitchen, astonished by Alora's exact conclusion. Alden is lying.

"You're resigning?"

Alora paused, then replied, "Yup."

"How come?"

"Yeah... Biasalah, asked why... Too bad you know... Alora yakiiinn?? Blabl... Pret's."

Alden immediately laughed, hearing Alora imitate the mimicry of someone who was allegedly his superior.

"Well done, Al! Well done!"

The fragrance of Alora's cooking began to smell until the middle room, making Alden's stomach increasingly rumbling. Alden finally woke up to approach Alora in the kitchen. He stood beside Alora, looking at the almost cooked fried rice.

"Yeahhhh... It smells good."

"I..."

"Hm?"

"Don't tell Sandra or Harsa..."

"I won't tell you. But... Till when? They should know too. Sooner or later."

Alden's words were right, so he made Alora rethink her life plan.

"Hmmm..." Alora thought as she shook her head to the right and to the left. Then Alora looked at Alden who was also doing something similar. "Until I get another job... Maybe?"

"Tell them before you find a new job."

"No. I don't want them thinking."

"They're adults. They hear their opinions."

Alora refocused on her cooking, reluctant to respond to Alden.

"You don't have to keep everything alone."

Alora was choked to hear Alden's words, until her hands stopped stirring for a split second. Alora understood Alden's intention. He must have said so, knowing that Alora had always kept her problems alone. Alora never told Sandra and Harsa the difficulty. Hearing Alden's entire speech tonight, Alora realizes that keeping everything to herself is also unfair to Sandra and Harsa.

"More." Alora thrust a plate of fried rice with the leftover shrimp slice, to Alden.

"Asian... Thanks..." Alden immediately turned around, heading back towards the middle room. He sat down and put his plate on the table. While staring at the television, Alden fiddled with the remote as he said, "Netflix just yuk. What do you want to see?"

Alora stared at Alden for a while, enjoying her comfortable feelings with Alden's every behavior. Then Alora again hesitated, somehow having to decide her feelings. Sometimes he felt there was no wall between their relationships. Sometimes he also felt that there was a huge fortress blocking their relationship. At this point, Alora was unsure of her own feelings.

"What's up?" Alora asked, as she walked over to Alden. He sat on the couch like he was.

"You like Marvel, don't you? I haven't seen No Way Home."

"Like. That's aja. I haven't seen." either."

"You like Marvel? Seriously?"

"Why see that? Can't it?"

"I rarely see women like this kind of movie."

"Don't Shella like it?"

"He never wanted to see a Marvel movie. That's why I'm so late."

Alora laughs. "I even often nemenin Harsa, so I like it too."

"Oh yeah??? Waaaah... Let's invite Harsa to watch, later if Doctor Strange has been released."

Alora smiled looking at Alden whose tumbens were babbling with sparkling eyes.

While the film begins, Alden eats a mouthful of fried rice made by Alora. His eyes that were already sparkling, were now widening. Alden stared at Alora with half disbelief. Seeing that expression, instead of being happy, even made Alora afraid just in case it tasted bad.

"Why the hell?"

"Enaaaack! It's crying!"

"What the hell, Al? Kirain why!" Alora slapped Alden's arm softly, so the man laughed.

"All your cooking never disappoints." Alden ate his food with great pleasure.

"I'm an experienced chef, sir. Many years of family."

"Oh it's just worth it, Mom, the taste is so thick."

"Diem you! Ahaha!" Alora laughed, hitting Alden's arm. The man laughed.

After joking around for a while, Alden and Alora focused on watching the movie that had already started. Alden devoured his food until it ran out, Alora was also engrossed in chewing his toast. The two look at each other. Alora smiled, looking at Alden who ate his cooking until it was gone. Alden smiled, looking at Alora who looked better than yesterday.
