Blooming At It's Time

Blooming At It's Time
⁸ A Request

Everything looks fine. Giri extended his hospital stay, now sitting in a VVIP patient bed. There was Kala sitting on the sofa, still wearing a white coat, sipping a glass of warm tea. There was Alden too, who was sitting on a small bench next to the patient's bed, peeling the apples Giri asked for. Everything was fine, except for Giri and Kala's gaze on Alden. Yes, Alden realized the meaning of the gaze, and he started to get annoyed.

Alden sighed, almost mad, then spoke in annoyance, "Son! Alden doesn't want to!"

"Ck! Alden!" Giri Seru.

Kala, who has since witnessed the debate Giri and Alden, now leaned on the sofa, sipping his warm tea casually. While watching a family drama, Kala simply enjoyed the view, without commenting. It is not time for comment at this time. Kala was instrumental in opening the debate room in the VVIP room this afternoon.

"Try her, tell her to come here. Let Opa do the talking."

Alden clucked in annoyance, cutting the apple into pieces. He was upset, but he still presented the apple to Giri. Alden is not his badass. All this because Kala complained to Giri, if Alden and Alora met yesterday in the hospital. Or the unlucky Alden, because Kala saw him talking to Alora near the automatic drink machine. Whatever it was, Alden was obviously upset, because as a result Giri so urged him to marry Alora.

"I don't have the number." Alden reasoned.

"Mama send me the number." Kala.

"Ma!"

Alden turned to Kala, showing himself being annoyed. But Kala, who had been an ally of Giri since the beginning, was just a whimper while playing with his cellphone. That's when Alden's phone vibrated. Sure enough, Kala had already sent Alora's number to Alden.

"Come, call Alora! Let Opa do the talking!"

"If Opa spoke, what would happen? She's gonna want to?"

"Yes... Maybe..."

"Imust be!"

"Jas... When you send the number to Papa, let Papa call."

"Well!"

He laughed again and played with his phone. Kala actually sent Alora's number to Giri. Then, Giri put on his glasses, in order to see the phone screen more clearly. With one finger move, Giri had already called Alora's number. Install a loudspeaker mode so that one room can hear their conversation.

"Hello?"

"Hello? This is Alora, right?"

"Yes, right. With who?"

"I'm Giri. Still remember?"

"Oh, yes Mr. Giri. I heard yesterday that I entered the IGD. Now how's it going?"

"Hahaha, good Ma'am... Ma'am Alora knows from Alden huh?"

"Yes, sir. I met you in the hospital yesterday."

"Why don't you come by my nose?"

Alden did not think with Giri's words. She was embarrassed, but did not know what to cover. He felt like silencing Giri, but of course it was disrespectful. Finally Alden was just upset alone.

At the end of the phone Alora laughed, then again said, "Said Alden, Father's rest, I'm afraid to disturb."

"Yes?"

Alora regrets. He should have been more stubborn to refuse Giri to come to this hospital. Look at him now, just sit still without knowing what to say. Alora knew she couldn't escape now. Especially with Giri holding his hand, and Kala watching him from behind. Somehow Alora had to vent this indescribable feeling. Maybe he should pull Alden's hair, just to be relieved. Well, that's a good choice.

"I don't think I'll live much longer, Mommy."

Alora had just dissolved in her delusion of tugging at Alden's hair until it fell out here and there. Now the daydream is up, because Giri spoke again very softly. Looks very weak, while occasionally coughing.

"Don't tell me that, sir. You have to live a long life, sir. Healthy too." Alora rubbed Giri's arms attentively.

It is undeniable, Alora is indeed a kind and loving woman. Shortly after she reflexively rubbed Giri's arm, Alora realized her actions were wrong. It could have made Giri even more stubborn to ask Alora to marry Alden. Alora should just slap the old man, so that Giri hates Alora. But as if running out of control, Alora even rubbed Giri's arm attentively.

"Make it, Mommy, please consider marrying Alden."

Alora glanced at Alden who was leaning against the lips of the window. The man looked frustrated by lowering his head while shaking slowly. Actually Alora was hoping that Alden would look at her, so that she could ask for help. But the man never looked at her, until Alora was caught off guard, and decided to refuse firmly.

"Sir, I know Alden's a good man. Moreover, doctor Kala, I have known him since the beginning of my career. I also know what good dad means. But I'm sorry, sir."

After Alora blabbed so, Alden looked up, looking at Alora who was sitting on a small bench next to the patient's bed.

"I'm so sorry, sir. I feel inappropriate. After all, Alden must have had his own choice. Sorry yes, sir. I hope you can accept my decision." Alora patted the back of Giri's hand, grasping the two.

Alora looked straight at Giri, hoping that his heart would really be well conveyed, without offending anyone. And it seems Alora's efforts are working. Giri smiled as he nodded slowly, as if understanding all the words Alora said. Then Alden and Alora could breathe.

Eventually, all this drama ended. Yeah, right?

Alora and Alden are gone. Before leaving earlier, the two agreed that they would become friends in front of Giri, making the man smile. But not now, Giri again looks moody. Kala, who was still in the room, looked at Giri with pity. He really understood Giri's good intentions, but he also understood Alora and Alden's heart. I don't know what to do now.

"Then..."

Kala sat on a small bench next to the patient's bed, waiting for Giri to continue his sentence.

"Papa's sure Alora's the one who deserves Alden."

"Pa..." Kala tightly grasped Giri's right hand. He observed the look in Giri's eyes that looked very serious. He knew Giri was not joking, and he knew how stubborn his Papa was.

"We can't force them." Said Kala, trying to melt Giri.

But it's all for nothing. Giri looked at him with those eyes. Kala remembers clearly when Giri asked her to marry her husband. A gaze that is very difficult to explain, but Kala can feel sincerity, seriousness, to despair in it. Kala could never resist, if Giri had already looked at her like that. Even when Kala is in a rage and intends to abort his content. Giri, with that gaze begged Kala to maintain the baby who is currently growing up to be an Alden Kama Adhigana.

"When, Papa has an idea. Please help Papa."

Only one sentence was thrown from Giri, but Kala felt the request was very meaningful. So Kala wholeheartedly nodded, assuring Giri's request.
