Blooming At It's Time

Blooming At It's Time
⁶ Second Meeting

The busyness of an Alden is arguably very dense. Now he is giving a speech to the annual meeting, even though his head is about to break. Not to mention that he felt depressed by the number of messages that went into his phone. Who else if not, Shella. It seems that there will be a new product launch from the favorite make up brand of Shella. That's why the woman hunted Alden to fight to get a limited edition product from her favorite brand. Alden told me how busy the schedule was today, but Shella didn't care.

Alden's greeting was given a lot of applause by the staff present at the annual meeting. Alden, with pale lips, smiled knots, then got off the podium. At the waist of the podium, there was Kenzo, his secretary who was already waiting with worry.

"Mas Alden sure it's okay?" The man matured sapodilla skin, with a distinctive dialect of the area named Kenzo. He had asked many times about Alden's condition. And Alden always said he was okay.

However, it seemed that this time Alden was starting to feel not okay. He clasped Kenzo's arm, holding himself back which felt very limp, almost toppled. His body temperature suddenly felt hotter. His head also felt heavy. He knew Kenzo was worried about him, but Alden was still lying.

"Yes. Maybe just a slobbery. Please take care of the rest. I think I should go home."

"Waduh, Mom... Mas Alden's face was pale. Don't you want to be delivered, Mom? I call the driver yes, Mas."

Alden just nodded. If you want to be forced, it can also be dangerous. His head was too dizzy to focus on looking at the streets. With great care, Kenzo drove him to the car. At times like this, Alden felt grateful to have chosen Kenzo as his secretary. Well, although not always perfect, but Kenzo is a very caring figure. Sometimes, Kenzo can play his friend. Maybe because Kenzo got the full affection of his family back home. Sometimes Alden envies it.

Alden has it all. Money, attention, a beautiful celebrity lover, a driver who drives her, a luxury apartment, and much more. But what does all that mean, when he's sick like this, he's alone in his apartment. Shella avoided Alden's apartment very much, as she did not want to be caught off guard by reporters. Or it's just the reason. Opa and Mama were very busy. Maybe it would be better if the omanya still exists.

Ah, Alden misses his oma.

As soon as he reached the apartment, Alden strolled around looking for a medicine box in the living room. His phone did not stop vibrating, as on the phone and incoming messages many times. Meanwhile, his head was turning increasingly, there was no time left to look for medicine. Alden couldn't find any heat-lowering or headache medicine. With his condition weak, Alden tried to check his phone. Not to check who's been bothering her since, but to tell Shella about her condition. Because it is true that the one who contacts him constantly is Shella.

Alden typed a few sentences, just to let him know he was sick. Right after Alden sent the message, his phone ran out of power and instantly went dark. Alden clucked in annoyance, as he had not even replied to a single message from Shella. But his condition is now unable to compromise. So without a second thought, Alden threw his phone into the room, and went to the room, to sleep in hopes of becoming healthier after resting.

Alden's expectations materialized, he felt better after sleeping for about an hour. Well, even though he still has a fever, at least his headache is greatly reduced. Alden can walk more vigorously than before. His body was still limp, but Alden never indulged himself when ill. So, in order to take care of himself, Alden decided to go buy medicine at a nearby pharmacy from his apartment.

With all the preparations for the night breeze, Alden went out on foot, to the pharmacy that was right next to his apartment building. No need to walk far, Alden also had to exercise a little. But it wasn't as easy as imagined. It might be easy if Alden's condition is not what it is now. Alden had just almost reached the front door of the pharmacy, when his headache attacked again. Alden leaned back for a moment, right next to the pharmacy door. He sharpened his eyes, trying to ease his pain, until someone mentioned his name.

"Alden?" A woman spoke her name doubtfully, after coming out of the pharmacy.

Alden turned to the source of the voice, then squinted trying to see the woman more clearly. Oh, Alora turned out. Then Alden nodded, after realizing the woman was Alora.

"Oh, Alora..."

"What pain?"

Alden wanted to answer Alora's question, but somehow he just sighed. Until finally, Alora scooped Alden's forehead with the back of her hand. Alora instantly sensed Alden's high body temperature.

"Dizziness too? Any flu? Cough or cold?"

Alden shook his head weakly. His head was down, feeling heavy. Alora said a few words to him, but Alden did not hear. He felt his head spinning too much, and just stayed there. I don't know what the woman did, but not long after, Alora returned, and made Alden aware of her closed eyes.

"Where is your house?"

"Oh... I'm going to the pharmacy."

"I bought medicine. Let's take you home."

Alden stared at Alora for a bit, then walked ahead. Alora harmonized the steps, following Alden towards the apartment building next to the pharmacy. Alora doesn't say much, she just follows Alden who leads her to an apartment on the 12th floor. Without anyone to speak, Alden held the door for Alora to enter his apartment. Alora, without speaking, walked alone to find the kitchen, finding the bowl, spoon and glass. Alden, who could not bear the headache, chose to lie in the room.

Shortly after, Alora knocked on the door of the room, asking for permission to enter. Feeling unanswered by Alden, Alora came in carrying a tray with a bowl of porridge, a glass of water, and some medicinal pills. Alora put the tray on the nightstand. He sighed, looking at Alden who was cheating, still wearing a hoodie and mask.

"Alden's... Eat first, keep taking the medicine." Alora patted Alden's arm softly many times, until the man opened his eyes.

"I borrow the kitchen, make some water." As soon as she saw Alden awake and sitting on the bedside, Alora came out, heading for the kitchen, as she had already said.

Alden tried to resuscitate himself, then saw the porridge Alora prepared on the nightstand. Alden was surprised when Alora got all that. But Alden resigned himself, ate some mouthfuls of porridge, then drank the medicine that Alora had provided. His head was still dizzy, and his eyes were twitching, prompting Alden to fall back asleep.

After that, regardless of what happened, Alden had already flown into dreamland. While Alora, back to the room with a small bucket of warm water, and a small towel hanging on the shoulder. Even though Alora had a bad first impression of the man, seeing Alden helpless like this was enough to make Alora feel sorry for him.

For now, let Alora take care of Alden out of pity. Pulling the blanket over Alden's limp body, and compressing his forehead. Hope the man comes back the next day.
