Alden had promised not to interfere with Alora's personal affairs. All the promises he has also signed himself consciously and without coercion. But after hearing Alora talk to another man last night, Alden got restless for some reason. Alden knew he couldn't be. But now it has been almost a few hours Alden looking for a man named 'Genta' anywhere. Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, everything. The problem is, there are so many humans named Genta in this world.
Alden's search was not without results. From his suspicions, Alden managed to find Alora's workplace location. Alden could have asked Alora, but she didn't. He himself wanted to find a hard way.
Apricus Bakery's.
According to Alden's suspicions, Genta was the owner of Apricus Bakery, where Alora now works. In fact, Alden could ask Alora directly. But his prestige was greater, so Alden decided to find out for himself the information he needed. In this way, Alden already felt like an FBI agent who was spying on his wife's affair. He is the same, and he is related to other women.
Speaking of other women, Alden finally rejected Shella's request firmly. As a result, Shella now silenced Alden to show his anger. Alden doesn't care, he should be the one who's angry here, but instead he's the one who's being bullied. I don't know, Alden's not thinking about Shella. For now, finding the figure of Genta was a top priority.
Pips
Alden pressed the phone button directly connected to Kenzo.
"What's up with Alden?"
"I'm not busy today, am I?"
"After lunch there's a meeting with-"
"It's 3 o'clock."
Pips
Alden hung up without waiting for a response from Kenzo. While calculating the time through his watch, Alden rushed out of the office with one goal, namely, to visit Alora's workplace. It's not even lunchtime yet, but Alden's gone. Who can stop him? Kenzos? Don't hope. The man was even busy rearranging the meeting appointments that two had made with great difficulty.
Alden parked his car, as a robot voice from the GPS indicated he had arrived. In this easy era, it is certainly not difficult to find an address, especially a store that is already registered with GPS. Alden was silent staring at the sign at the small bakery. He might have hesitated, after spending his busy work hours. Come on, when did Alden become such a coward? Alden had time to cuss his stupid actions, before finally convincing himself to enter the bakery.
As soon as the bell rang, Alden was immediately greeted by the carefree voice of a woman.
"Welcome to Ap... ri.. cus?" Slowly the woman's voice hesitated. Alden could immediately see a woman standing at the checkout table, while the woman was still squinting with a frowning forehead. A moment later, after Alden smiled, the woman was sure that the man she saw was indeed Alden.
Alora with an apron on the plate immediately approached Alden who also walked over to him. In a half-whispering voice, Alora asked, "what are you doing here?"
"Why? Can't you?"
"Not that"
"Welcome to Apricus."
Alora immediately gasped in shock, as Genta's voice echoed. Alora turned her head, and saw Genta had gone out of the kitchen and was now standing at the cashier's table. Although at a glance, Genta can catch the clumsy attitude of Alora who immediately took a tray to hand over to Alden.
"Please, Sir." Alora said with an awkward smile.
"Sir?" Alden scrunched his forehead.
With a little code from Alora's eyes, Alden accepted the tray and tried to act like a regular customer. Alora immediately returned to the cashier table, as Genta called out to her with a slight movement of a finger.
The clapper whispered to Alora, "Why?"
"Huh? What's the reason?"
"Do you know that guy?"
Genta and Alora both stared at Alden, who was also glancing at them.
"Oh..." Alora did not answer. He forced his brain to look for excuses. It's not that I don't want to admit Alden, but this is all too sudden. After all, they agreed to cover up this marriage, if Alora would casually say Alden was her husband, whether or not Alden would be angry.
"Your friend?"
"Yes! My pal. Hehe."
"Oh yeah? Well, you must be promoting our store, huh?"
Alora could only cry, hoping that Genta would not suspect. Meanwhile, Alden who was watching them from afar even felt annoyed. He screeched then raised the tip of his lips slightly, staring at the two cynically.
Alden looked back at the bread in front of him. It was not magic not magic, before him there was bread but his mind floated imagining the process of making the bread. Alden began to wonder, did they make that bread together? Laughing and joking? Playing each other while playing flour? Or touching each other's hands while kneading the dough? Alden began to not stand his emotions, then gripped tightly claws in his hand. Alden was upset by the hallucinations he made himself. Strange indeed.
"I'm in the kitchen again."
Alora nodded with a smile as Genta left her alone at the cashier table. Then shortly after, Alden placed a tray of some bread roughly spelled out at the cashier. Her face was already unfriendly, and Alora was aware of that.
"It's nice to look at it." Alden ketus.
"Sorry?"
"It's really nice that you work here?" Alden still sounds sniffy.
"Yes happy. Why should I be sad?" Reply Alora relaxed, while struggling with the cash register.
"Happy work or happy people?"
"What the hell, Al."
"That's Genta? Your old friend?"
"Hm."
"Now, meet an old friend."
Alora realized Alden was quipping, and Alora started to feel annoyed because of that. So he let out a long sigh, then looked at Alden sharply.
"You why the hell? Getting angry?"
"Oh, no! Why should I be angry? Not really!" Alden laughed on his side.
"Why isn't your tone so good?"
"How good is that? That guy's voice?"
Alora took a long breath. "You jealous?"
Instantly Alden felt the surrounding atmosphere heating up, until a little sweat soaked his temple. But Alden just laughed, trying to cover up his anxiety.
"Make what?" Alden turned his eyes away from Alora.
Alora chuckled at Alden who was trying hard to hide his feelings. Not that Alora wanted a big head, but half of her was convinced that Alden was jealous. His regret was now gone with the smile engraved on Alora's lips. It's nice to see Alden like this.
"Yes anyway. Where could Alden be jealous."
Alden was quite relieved by Alora's words. At least he could think that he was not caught off guard. Without looking at Alora, Alden paid for his groceries with a card. Meanwhile, Alora could not hide her smile.
"Thank you, please come back." Alora said kindly, while thrusting a paper bag full of bread at Alden.
"Later... What time are you home?" Alden asked in a soft voice, but it was enough for Alora to hear.
"Hour 6... As usual."
"Hm... Wanna watch? At home aja. As usual."
Alden's call was very simple, but able to ruffle the contents of Alora's heart. Watching movies at home, together with Alden, seems to be Alora's favorite activity. With a timid smile, Alora nodded. Alden smiled and slowly twisted his body. There was not a second, Alden turned his body back to stare at Alora.
"Later I'll get toast. The beans. Go home."
Alora laughed, "Okay!"
Alden laughed, then raised one hand to say goodbye to Alora with a feeling that now changed with waiting. Waiting for nightfall to be able to chat alone in a warm house.
