Bonds Without Love

Bonds Without Love
ITC #54

Bisma standing in front of the navel bearing the words Monika bint Putra with Erina beside her, Bisma did decide to visit her mother's grave because she could not win a debate with Erina.

Although Bisma was worried about Erina who had frequent headaches, she could do nothing but obey her wife. Erina's decision was indeed more important, Bhishma felt she had to appreciate it.

Bisma watched Erina through the corner of her eyes, already about ten minutes the woman was silent while staring at the navel in front of them, I don't know what she was thinking, Erina looked very nervous.

They were only two there because Leo chose to wait in the car, Leo felt uncomfortable if he had to follow Bisma and Erina, afraid of witnessing things that were not good for his heart health. Again.

"Assalamualaikum, mother ..." Erina said in a low voice.

Bisma cleared her throat slowly when Erina greeted her mother's grave, she felt that what Erina was doing was ridiculous, that Erina could talk to the person who had long been buried in the navel.

Before marriage, Bhishma often visited her mother's grave, but Bhishma never invited her to speak, she came only to clean the tomb and also to pray for her mother who was in another realm.

"Include my name Erina azkia davina, your daughter-in-law ..." Bisma heard Erina take her breath before returning to speak. Bisma looked over at a glance and could see his wife looking down with her eyes closed.

"Mother, my husband has been through a lot after losing you, but now I can rest easy because I'm there to take your place to protect him."

Bhishma could hardly believe her ears, did she not hear wrong? Erina just said she'd protect him? Bisma finally focused her gaze on Erina, she put up an ear to hear the woman's next words.

Erina had always been a difficult woman Bhishma guessed, even though now Erina said she would protect her, Bhishma would never know what Erina would lose tomorrow, after which she felt she had to start being vigilant. Afraid that Erina will suddenly disappear.

Bisma remembers when Erina invited him to live together for a long time, then at night Erina even had the intention to leave him. Bhishma was afraid that Erina also had other intentions after saying she would protect her, what if suddenly Erina wanted Bisma dead?

Erina sighs. "I'm sorry, we were supposed to come here before we got married, but for some reason we just got to visit you, I'm ..."

"Erin, stop!" Bhishma's words cut through Erina's words, she began to be unable to bear to hear Erina blabbering in front of the tomb.

Bisma grabbed Erina's hand with a little grip, enough drama Erina today, Bisma wanted to immediately take Erina to the hospital maybe Erina's head was experiencing problems due to headaches.

Initially, Bhishma was interested in hearing Erina's words, but everything changed after Bhishma heard Erina apologize. I don't know, Bhishma doesn't like to hear his wife say sorry.

Bhishma remembered the moment Erina said. "I'm sorry that one day I will go without saying goodbye." until now Erina's words are still recorded clearly in the ears of Bhishma.

It had nothing to do, but Bisma was sensitive to the word 'sorry' coming out of Erina's mouth, whatever the reason Erina said sorry, Bhishma did not want to hear it.

Alright, Bhishma might have managed to plant her seeds on Erina's body and there was little hope they would stay together if Erina got pregnant later, but there was still something that made Bisma worried.

"Sickness, Bisma ..." Wirih Erina when she felt the grip of Bisma strengthened, Erina had tried to let go of her hand, but it was difficult because the power of Bhishma was stronger.

Bhishma let go of Erina's hand, she did not realize what she had just done, Bhishma remembered Erina's words that night and her hand just acted.

"Sorry ..." Bisma said regretfully, then again grabbed Erina's hand and kissed the wrist a few times.

"I'm really sorry, I didn't mean to hurt you." Bisma.

Erina took a deep breath as possible. He did not know why Bhishma suddenly told him to stop talking, even though Erina was only trying to help Bhishma. Because Erina was tired of waiting for Bisma to say longing words to her mother.

Well, Erina was silent for a few minutes not without reason, the woman deliberately gave room to Bhishma to talk, even though the dead man was very unlikely to hear the words of Bhishma, but at least Bhishma will feel her longing paid off after speaking to her mother's grave.

"Your grandmother is not wrong, no matter how you are the boy and it is very likely that you will go down the nature of your father, now you have the courage to make a girl cry, how about it? Bhishma, you disappointed me!"

No, not the wrong Bhishma, Bhishma did not do anything bad to the girl who was meant to mamah Monika in her dream, the girl was only one of the people who liked Bhishma and Bhishma refused her. Bhishma does not feel like he made a mistake.

Leaving aside the disappointment of Bhishma's mother, the first time Bisma disappointed her mother was that moment, a few days before her mother died. Ha, it is not Karina who is the first person to be the reason for Bhishma's mother to be disappointed. Because Karina even came after Bhishma's mother had long since died.

"Muil ..." Erina's soft voice pulled Bisma from her nightmare last night.

Yes, Bisma always thought of her dream as a nightmare, Bisma really liked her mother's smile, but in her dream her mother did not smile and Bhishma did not like it. Bhishma always feels burdened after the dream is present.

"You don't need to feel guilty, my hands are fine." Erina said trying to calm Bhishma down, she did not understand why Bhishma suddenly cried.

"Muil ..." Call Erina softly, then direct Bhishma to look at her and wipe away her husband's tears using her thumb.

"Why hm? I know you miss your mother, why not tell your mother that you miss her and cry instead?" Ask Erina.

Erina had absolutely no idea that Bhishma was crying because she remembered her words. And yes, Erina did not even know that Bhishma had secretly heard that.

Bisma looked at Erina right in her eyes. "Erin-"

"Bisma, I always convey my anxiety when visiting my grandmother's grave, I know that maybe grandma won't hear it, but at least I feel relieved because as long as grandma is alive, I only feel affection from her."

Erina purposely cut off the words of Bhishma, hoping she could understand her meaning. Erina knew that Bhishma was just like her, they were both lacking in affection because the only people who loved them had died.

"Bisma, why don't you try to say something to your mother, maybe your burden will decrease." Erina. Again.

"really?" Bisma asked spontaneously, then continued in her heart. "Is it true that my burden will be lessened, without making you feel burdened?"

Erina nodded and smiled. "You won't know if you don't try." He said as if telling Bisma that the man would regret not trying to speak in front of his mother's grave.

Bhishma only slightly pulled the corner of her lips in response to Erina.

"All right, I'll talk to my mother" said Bisma, then went back to her mother's navel and took her breath for a moment.

"Assalamualaikum, mah. I haven't visited you in a long time ..." Bisma stopped talking because her voice suddenly choked. Erina was just watching.

"Well, today I'm coming with your daughter-in-law, what do you think?" Bhishma felt her eyes heat up thinking about what she would say next.

"I promise to keep our marriage no matter what, I've hurt Erina, but I promise I won't repeat it, I'll never leave my woman like your husband did. And I beg of you one thing .. Mama stop coming in my nightmares."
