Mycola Recognition

Zack continued walking down the village streets that were quite quiet. The area is far from the hustle and bustle of urban life. Even when crossing the area, motor vehicles are prohibited from entering.the vehicle used should only be a bicycle or a pedati. For those who do not have both types of vehicles, it will choose the option of walking.

Zack occasionally looked at the photo Bara had given him. While walking, he matches the picture in the photo with the surrounding conditions. Eventually he found a house similar to the picture in the photo.

"Well, I'll see you too, Mikola!" zack said with a smile on his face.

Without a second thought, he immediately approached the house. The wooden fence surrounding the house is not locked. He could easily push it. It appeared that a young man was with an old woman sitting on the porch of the stilt house.

Both of them seem to be busy chatting while peeling the skin of the peanut skin. Zack is a bit upset that Mikola can laugh and live a quiet life while Bara has to linger in prison waiting for her case to be finished.

"Micola!" greet Zack.

The two people looked shocked, especially Mikola. The facial expression that originally looked cheerful instantly turned grim. It was as if he had been caught committing a crime.

"You know him, son?" ask the grandmother.

"Ah, yes, Grandma. He's my friend from the city. We will talk for a while in front" Mikola said as she moved from her place. He walked up to Zack. "Let's talk outside" he said.

Zack according. He just followed where Mikola took him. Apparently, the man stopped at a lake about a 10-minute walk from Mikola's house.

"You already know, why did I come here?"

Mikola glanced at Zack's face then lowered her head back. There was anxiety visible from his face when dealing with Zack. "How is Mr Bara's condition?" he dared to ask.

"Thanks to you he's been in prison for three weeks. His company and other assets were also confiscated to cover the losses you created." Zack hid his rage. Had Bara not advised him to treat the man well, he might have beaten him.

Mikola sighed and ruffled her own hair in frustration.

"I got a message from Bara for you. He said you can hide everywhere, he won't be angry."

The words Zack spoke felt stifling in Mikola's heart. Already a lot of help that Bara gave to him, like grief for five more years he still remembered until this moment. Betraying Bara was a stifling option he had to do.

"Bara just wanted to ask, why did you betray her? Did Bara ever do anything that hurt you?"

Mikola fell silent. Talking about Bara is like discussing a helper who means a lot in his life. In a slumped condition, there was Bara who suddenly reached out to work together to realize the company whose name began to be known today. Thanks to working with Bara, he gained the financial ability to support himself and his sickly grandmother.

"I'm doing this for personal gain, sir." Mikola started to open her voice.

My grandmother needed a heart transplant immediately. The cost is quite large, so I secretly use the funds that should be allocated to the compensation of residents' land.

Zack chuckles. He did not immediately believe Mikola's words. "Indeed, the operation cost up to 200 billion?" tanyakanya.

Mikola was silent again. He knows Zack doesn't seem easy to explain.

"I'm telling you the truth, sir. The money is indeed I use for the healing of my grandmother," said Mikola kekeh.

"The cost of heart transplants is only 20 billion. I know because my mom used to live it too. While the project money you lost reached 200 billion more! Where is the excess money? You're not the greedy type who wants more money, are you?"

Mikola widened her eyes. Zack knew it all.

"I know there's someone else involved with this. Can you say who that guy is? You know, right?"

Mikola's body seemed to be shaking. His tongue was too faint to speak. It was very difficult for him to tell the truth.

"Why are you quiet? You can let Bara take it all by yourself? He's been so good to you and you can betray him?" Zack tried to pressure Mikola into telling the truth.

"The coal is almost threatened with falling into poverty. He was also entangled with a 10-year prison sentence that should have been your allotment. You're a coward for letting someone else take the blame he never made."

Zack awaits a response from Mikola. Unfortunately, the man did not want to open his voice.

"Just up to you now! It's stupid to be nice to someone like you."

"It's so hard for me!" exclaim Mikola.

Zack who intends to go undo his intentions.

"This has to do with Mr. Rudy and also ... Your father."

Zack turns back to listen to the full version of Mikola's story.

"After this, I don't care anymore about dying or not. Please help me take care of my grandmother. They're still after us and threatening to kill Grandma if I open my mouth."

Mikola felt an extremely overwhelming inner pressure. Letting people as good as Bara have to bear his deeds, making his life unsettled. Every day he was overwhelmed with guilt. Zack's words seemed to have made him realize that he must learn to be responsible and face problems, not even run away from problems.

The only thing that incriminates him is one, the safety of the grandmother. The family had just recovered from heart disease after receiving a transplant. He felt happy to see the old woman who contributed to raising him back healthy and able to move normally.

"If for the safety and confidentiality of your grandmother's whereabouts, I can vouch for her. Even I have a nursing home that can be a comfortable residence for your grandmother. That's as long as you want to uncover all the truth."

Mikola has weighed the risks that will be faced. He will be the target of those cunning people if it comes to the surface.

"Actually their original purpose was to pit your company and Pak Bara's company. The accident that almost happened to your father they engineered so that Mr. Bara was blamed. Unfortunately, it was Mr. Bara who was affected by the accident."

Zack did not expect that what happened to the father was a result of engineering. It was only fitting that Bara acted pretending to be seriously injured due to the incident.
