"I'll go with Dad to the restaurant we've planned."

"Yes, I'll be there soon too."

"Have you met Edis?"

"Yet. The hostel officer is calling for her."

"Then I'll see you there."

"Hm, I love you, baby."

I turned off the phone with a smile. He had just communicated with Retha, discussing about the family meeting that would be done simply. Retha is in charge of bringing her father, while Bara is to take Edis there.

"Good afternoon?"

Edis had just stepped down from the top floor after the hostel attendant informed him that someone was waiting for him downstairs. It amazes who wants to come to see him. At least his brother, even that was impossible because they were new enemies.

When he saw a well-groomed adult man in his work clothes, he grew even more astonished. Edis never knew the man. The man was too cool to be a debt collector as he used to come to his family.

Emar smile. "You're Edis, right? I know your brother, my name is Bara." She stretched out her hand.

Edis returned the hand. "Yes, I'm Edis. What do you need to look for me?" tanyanya.

"I'll explain later. Let's go first, there's something your brother and I want to say."

"Can't we just talk here? Then, where's my brother?" Edis was looking for his brother. It is not easy to believe that others are afraid of being kidnapped.

"Your brother and your father are waiting there. We must leave now so as not to miss."

"My father is coming too?" Edis was surprised to hear his father's name called.

"Yes, we'll have four dinners. You're leaving, right?"

Bara said as if he could read the doubts in Edis' heart. Finally, Edis wanted to follow Bara. He rode in the car Audy was driven directly by the man.

Before going to the restaurant, Bara takes Edis to a boutique. Without having a chance to change, Edis let the servants there choose clothes for him. She is also dressed in simple make up.

The car driven by Bara continues to drive through the city streets are quite dense. About thirty minutes later, they finally arrived at a luxurious five-star hotel.

Edis kept staring in amazement at the figure of the man he had just met. It felt like the person was too perfect to imagine as his sister-in-law's future. From his appearance alone it has been seen that Bara is not an ordinary person. At least one entrepreneur.

"Edis ...," call Mr. Agus.

Edis was surprised to see his father first there with a neat appearance. His face looked a few bruises, as usual, maybe his father had a problem again. Edis immediately approached his father, kissed his hand and gave a hug. As the youngest child, he did look spoiled to his father.

Edis saw her brother was also there, dressed up very graceful and beautiful. He moved to hug his brother. After yesterday they had a disagreement, actually Edis wanted to apologize, but he was too prestige to admit wrong was angry with his brother.

"Good night, sir. My name is Bara, who is close to your daughter." Bara introduced himself to Agus.

Bara introduces herself more, tells of her life, as well as her desire to establish a more serious relationship with Retha. He also said that he loved Retha very much.

"So, you're a widower with one child?" ask Mr. Agus.

"Really, Sir. My son is still a TK. He used to be a student of Rethah. We first met there."

"Do you know how our family is?"

Bara and Retha looked at each other. They already thought that Rethah's father would ask him.

"I have failed in my household before. My parents were very careful about choosing the next candidate. However, I want only Rethah to be my companion. I chose Retha. If you ask for parental consent, it will be long. So, I still want to marry Retha first while slowly introducing her to the family."

Mr. Agus frowned. "You're not trying to play with my daughter, are you?"

"Of course not, sir!" kilah Bara's. He knew his explanation would make a misunderstanding. It could be that Retha's father had another perception with his words.

"The thing I can catch from your conversation seems like you want to hide Retha after becoming your wife. Is that true."

If there's a problem, I'll go forward to defend him."

"What if the problem even arises with the family itself?" ask Agus again.

"I'd still side with Retha if she was right."

Edis could only listen to the conversation between the two men. He does not really understand how the concept of marriage they mean. He thinks marriage is not fun. It's very complicated.

Meanwhile, Retha's heart from earlier continued to pound. He was afraid that Bara and his father would fight. Although Retha and her father often bickering, but from the answers of the father he knew that his father was still paying attention to him.

"I have no authority to determine your life's steps. If Retha agrees with the plan, then as a father, I can only support."

"Retha, what do you think?" ask the father.

"I agree, Dad. Me and Mas Bara have been discussing this for a long time" he said.

"But there is one thing that still holds up in my mind."

Retha and Bara looked back. They thought Rethah's father had given both their blessings. Apparently, there are still unresolved discussions.

"What's still in your heart? Please just say it, I'm ready to listen and facilitate." Bara gave an opportunity to Agus to speak.

"Mothers Retha and Edis had been dead for quite some time. I worked hard to shake my bones to raise them. Even up to one by one items until the house is sold in order to provide a decent life for them. So, we don't have a house at all in this town because it used to be sold for survival."

Bara feels sorry to hear the past stories about Retha.

"I also had no job after being fired from the company for slander. Wanting to return to work but constrained by age, no one asked me as a worker because it was considered too old. I worked odd jobs to be able to give a little pocket money to Edis."

"What if you could also afford to support me as Retha's father and Edis' sister?"

Retha. He scrunched his forehead because of dizziness. He wanted to praise his father who seemed to love him. Now, his father seems to want to affirm that he just wants to hitchhike life.

Retha and Edis were embarrassed to listen to their father openly asking for money. Bara just smiled, he took out a check sheet from his pocket and wrote a nominal amount on it and gave it to Pak Agus.

Mr. Agus developed a smile upon receiving the check. "You are indeed my proud daughter-in-law."
