"Hey, Ema."
Emilia is a sensitive person. So when someone calls him in a tone as if calling an animal, he likes to think of ending that person's life. But if all the humans he had to kill, maybe half the people in the world were dead.
So Emilia simply ignored the call.
"Hey, Mom!"
She needs to, why should Emilia turn around?
"Ema, are you deaf?!"
His body was pulled roughly backwards. But Emilia did know, so she had avoided being pushed too rough..
"You've become so big-headed just because Young Master Samuel spoils you!" A woman he did not know what her name was, if it was not wrong to work as a cleaner, it was staring at him beaveringly. "I've called you three times! I know you heard! Is your village too remote to have no manners there?!"
Is this guy's brain empty or hollow? When someone is called and he hears but does not turn around, is not the answer only one?
I don't want to talk to you.
"Do you think this is your parents' house?! Your position here is only as a servant! Just a waiter, okay?! Stop acting like you are the master!"
Emilia's chin was raised with a cold expression. What did this worm just say? How dare he equate Emilia with a lowly cockroach like Ahkam.
"What the fuck are your eyes?! You want to fight?!"
What exactly does he want. The length of the opening. He called to get angry because he was tired?
Emilia decided to turn away. But his hand was pulled and almost a slap landed on his face.
That skinny hand was caught smoothly by Emilia. His eyes were slightly widened, responding to this woman's actions.
Animals have an instinct to distinguish who is stronger and who should run from whom. Emilia gripped him as hard as she could. How dare these worms that are not even dogs forget the position.
"Aaaaaka!"
"Hey, what are you doing, Ema?!"
Emilia pushed the noisy woman when someone else came. He looked around, not knowing who because they were not important.
"He meant to slap me." Emilia replied in a dignified tone. "Is there a reason why I should accept it?"
"Be the reason!" The man helped the woman. "That's it. Go and clean the side garden. There's a lot of trash in there."
Emilia turned around. He should have been talking and not looking for trouble.
...*...
Samuel did not know to be proud or laugh at how Ema was acting. It seemed that only a moment Samuel was sitting in the room doing something that no one else should know, knowing Rangga called him because Ema was being tried by Soraya.
Soraya is Samuel's sweet niece. But if he doesn't like something, then Soraya can act really annoying, looking for reasons to get that person into trouble.
"What's wrong?" he asked, as if he understood nothing.
I don't know what Ema did. Samuel only knows one thing.
"Uncle will not believe this. He nearly broke Nia's arm just because he was told to clean up the trash!"
Hmmmm. Samuel saw the Nia that Soraya meant, honestly just found out that she was named Nia. Who, dad? Doesn't seem important.
"What's going on, Nia? Did Ema hurt you?" Samuel was just being formal.
"Yes, Sir. I tried to get Ema to clean the yard but she wouldn't listen and then suddenly grabbed my hand."
Nia showed her hand turning blue. It surprised Samuel.
The former .. thought Samuel, Ema is not that strong. It doesn't seem like a lie that the hand was almost broken.
"Is there a witness?"
"Yes, Sir. I saw it myself."
Samuel looked at Ema who was silent. His attitude is adorable. Almost like he did not hear people talk because it is not his business and everyone is busy alone when for him there is nothing.
Just this time Samuel met this kind of girl.
"Ema, is that Nia's confession?"
Ema nodded with confidence.
It definitely makes Soraya beaver.
"Based on a madman! You nodded your head so calmly thinking Uncle is protecting you?! No matter how good Uncle is at you, your actions this time have crossed the line!"
Did ya? Samuel raised an eyebrow not understanding Soraya's words. But he was still smiling rather than bothering to take care of unimportant matters.
Perhaps the only one who understood it was Rowan. The young man leaned lazily watching all from a distance. It was annoying to have to stop Soraya, so Rowan decided to just keep looking.
"But isn't that weird?" The man next to her whispered silently. "I've never seen a waiter with such an expression. Is she too sure Uncle is so good to her?"
"I guess he only knew that Uncle didn't care about Soraya's anger and the fate of the servant's hand." Rowan sighed again. "I don't understand more why Soraya still doesn't see Uncle just looking at him like a flying leaf."
Rangga. "Nasehati Soraya then, you fool."
Cheat once. If Soraya does so, she decides so.
Rather than care about it, Rowan was more curious about how Samuel would end it.
He clearly did not consider any of the time important. But Samuel always lied and smiled. How did he resolve Soraya's anger?
"Maybe didn't do it on purpose." Samuel grabbed Ema's soft hand. "Don't do anything like that, Ema. Be as kind to others as you can."
Soraya. "Pa-Paman—"
"Soraya, fussing about this kind of thing will only disturb the whole house." Samuel looked at Nia. "I'm sorry Ema is for me, Nia. Next time he won't."
