56. I'll Make You Accept Me

"What's the situation Ahkam?"

Emilia approached Nine's room early in the morning. Her face was still pale and as for the needs of her body, Emilia had to walk while holding the infusion pole.

"They spread your pictures on social media. But it doesn't include any information that you're behind Ahkam's successive deaths."

"They're considering my identity?"

Nine flicked his finger instantly. "Yaps."

Then Argantana immediately predicted that Emilia came from an influential family. Also, because of Samuel's presence behind Emilia, exposing Emilia to the media would only hurt Ahkam.

Obviously Emilia will be labeled as a murderer, but Ahkam will lose Samuel and Oto.

Between Emilia and Samuel's organization, Samuel's organization was still more expensive. They therefore withhold their information until a unanimous decision is agreed upon.

They dumped Samuel, they published Emilia.

"I need to finish it before my name gets dragged any further." Emilia pulled a chair for him. "What did Senior say?"

Mahesa must have left when Emilia rested.

"none. He's handed the decision to you."

"What about the issue that involved me yesterday?"

The sound of a keyboard filled the room as Nine moved his fingers agilely. "I've wiped out almost entirely. It was a bit difficult because Samuel's name had gone up some time because of the photo, so I turned it to another issue."

"Pull all my photos as much as possible. Especially those that are not being watched by many people."

"I did it."

Emilia peeked to try looking at the screen. Knowing that Emilia's eyes could not see clearly, Nine shifted her chair. Take out a tube containing glasses as well as a plate of sweets.

"Mahesa leave this."

The whole room was clearly visible. Emilia blinked a few times before returning to focus.

"Call Darto and Mutia here. Let's discuss the strategy ahead."

"Ayey."

No time for Darto and Mutia to come. However, Emilia forgot that Samuel was there until he arrived.

Emilia hinted him not to spit out nonsense just yet.

"I'm going to lure Ahkam to this place."

Emilia's people are smart enough that she doesn't speak without consideration. While Nine preferred to observe, so the only one who responded was only Samuel.

"Argantana won't come down to catch you, Emilia. What's the point of leaking hideouts to them?"

"To show my ability. I don't like fighting someone who doesn't understand me. Argantana sees me as your tool, and I'm not happy about it."

Samuel raised an eyebrow even though he then smiled. "What do you want from Ahkam?"

"He tried to kill me."

"I know that." Samuel pulled out his chair. "The first two days, I knew there was something. What's he doing?"

"That's not part of your business" Emilia replied flatly. "The point is, let him come as a prefix. After Argantana receives my message, I'll kill her."

"Oto with you?"

Emilia tried hard not to exhale violently. This person would only hand over Oto if Emilia accepted his request. And he clearly knew Emilia had to accept it.

Moving on from there, Emilia muttered, "Discuss with Oto."

Quickly Emilia left, because she was lazy to see Samuel's big smile.

But Samuel is an annoying guy. As soon as Emilia got up, she also rushed after him.

Emilia's body was pulled gently, confined in Samuel's warm embrace. The smell of tea came out of his body. It was not the scent that Emilia was used to feeling from Samuel.

"I like you." Samuel whispered between his hair. "I like you a lot, Emilia."

The man looked down at his face.

"I know you haven't accepted me."

Emilia remained silent, letting Samuel kiss her lips.

"I'll make you accept me."
