Cold Man And Miss Stone

Cold Man And Miss Stone
80. Peace Days

"Emilia." Dwi patted Emilia's arm, pulling her from her sleep. "Emilia, wakeup. It's morning."

Emilia's consciousness was still blurry, but she received Dwi's hand. When it will move, Emilia's stomach is cramped. There was nothing she could see, even so Emilia could feel.

The bed must be dirty again.

"Yumi?"

"Samuel took her sunbathing. Come on, clean yourself up."

The smell of blood smelled faintly among the smell of baby oil in his room. Emilia walks limped into the bathroom, led to enter the bathtub. After that Dwi left, letting Emilia take off her clothes which might also be seeped with puerperal blood.

Emilia rarely feels pain during menstruation. His stomach was cramped just plain, and at worst only a little pain. But now it's different. He has trouble sitting.

Even so, once again Emilia felt paid with something commensurate.

"Emilia."

Samuel's voice made Emilia turn to the darkness in the direction the voice came from. "It's over?"

It only took a moment for Samuel's hand to stretch out on him, rubbing warm water on Emilia's back. "Hm. Mama's visiting, so I leave Yumi a minute."

Emilia smiled faintly. Moving from the bathtub which now looks red due to blood.

"Ema."

The name Samuel always used on him if he wanted to say something serious enough. Emilia washed herself, but turned again to the direction she heard Samuel. "Hm?"

"Isn't it okay now to look again? I know you're dying to see Yumi's face."

Emilia groped Samuel's hand. His vitals hurt, but he thought Samuel thought this was important. "Did my condition weigh you down?"

"Come, Ema. That's not what I mean." Samuel came to embrace her. "I like my Emilia however you are."

"I love the darkness."

He felt Samuel shudder in his head. But Samuel never denied his words, only accepted, and released Emilia.

The conversation halted there, as Emilia immediately put on her clothes and went out to look for the child. She faintly heard the sound of a small agitated cry.

"Hey, look who it is. Mom, hm. There's Mom, Yumi."

Emilia needed to sit quietly in a special chair that did not hurt her too much. Adjust the position before he receives a small baby placed in his carrier.

"You left before I woke up." Emilia buried her lips carefully into Yumi's neck, feeling the natural calmness of her scent and body temperature. "Hows it? You don't want to cry anymore?"

"He cried last night?"

"Very hard." Emilia chuckles. That's why he didn't even realize Samuel was moving on. He was only able to sleep maybe at three in the morning because of the cry of this child. "Sam just got back at three yesterday. I can't calm him down myself."

"Had Mama told you not to come back too late."

Samuel must be pouting. "Sorry, sorry." And he rubbed his mother's ketokan.

"After all, didn't Mama tell you to temporarily give responsibility to Ryo? Emilia needs help here."

"Ma, Emilia told me to leave. I have to make her happy, right? He said the man who didn't go do something outside the house was lame! How can I be silent?"

Emilia pretended not to hear when Mama back nagged her. She focuses on breastfeeding Yumi, enjoying the faint waves in the morning.

"Emilia, my dear." Mama knew to be next to him, rubbing the corner of Emilia's eyes. "Isn't it time to have new eyes? It will all be easier if you look. Right, right?"

Of course Emilia was also eager to see her daughter. Much more wanted than anyone. But this eye was lost at a time that, arguably Emilia could not forget.

This is his loyalty to Mahesa. A failure that made him lose.

Samuel would know that. Therefore he never forced, even though he repeated his question in a hopeful tone.

"No need, Ma." Emilia said sure. "I can still do things without eyes."

The days he had to be led to the bathroom would not be long. It was only because Emilia had just given birth and Samuel was worried that Emilia had fallen.

He was used to being in the dark.

And ....

"I've seen enough of the faces of many." Emilia smiled. "I'd rather imagine Sam's face in the dark. Also, I don't often get upset because everything is dark so I guess this is better."

Although it was a diversion, Samuel smiled slightly. Come kneel beside Emilia's chair, pecking at the arm that held her daughter.

"Ma."

"What?"

"I love Emilia."

For the second time, Emilia heard the sound of Samuel's head being hit.

"Stop flogging your wife with Mama."

Samuel murmured, but Emilia chuckled. Tease Yumi until the child cries.

"Look, your daughter's just sick of you."

"Hey, she's crying out of pleasure. Babies have a hobby of crying. It's like you never had a child."
