The Sangkalaluk

Ferdian and Reino inevitably had to accept the challenge of the King of Candra to be able to bring the four spirits of the young man. They must fight the loyal servants of the forbidden forest.

"I gave you unlimited time to defeat him. I don't need to see how your match is going either. This lantern will die by itself if you win."

King Candra shows lanterns with beautiful golden carvings brought by courtiers. 

"This is the lantern of life belonging to my loyal servant. I'll put it here and wait for your arrival."

The other courtiers of the king of Candra led Reino and Ferdian to a large wooden door, a very sturdy and thick carved door. The crackling of the open door echoed throughout the room. 

"Please enter gentlemen. Welcome to the world of Tangkalaluk, the greatest monster our kingdom has!"

Just when the courtier stopped talking, a screaming voice echoed like Tyrannosaurus in Jurassic Park. Ferdian and Reino suddenly looked up, both of them turning towards the king who was smiling cynically.

"Fight him and beat him for them!"

The large door closed slowly, leaving the two handsome couriers who were now confused as to what to do. The forest is like the Amazon forest with high humidity, the thorny tendrils that adorn the big trees and the light of the sun that is not how bright makes anyone who is there guts is no exception two handsome messenger messenger Thomas.

"We're not paid much to deal with this?! It's crazy, totally crazy!" Reino looked far ahead and looked around. The sounds of the forest beasts began to sound earthy.

"You're right Rein, Thomas seems to have forgotten something about this!"

The sound of wild growls was heard again followed by the flapping of the wings of the birds flying.

"You hear it's Rein, it's definitely not a tiger or an ordinary animal?" Ferdian started walking followed by Reino.

"Yup, it's more like .. dinosaur?" Reino raised next to an eyebrow, a little exaggerated but looking at the condition there was all the possibility it could happen.

"Geez Thomas, what should we do! We don't even know what to face and how to beat him!" Ferdian was getting frustrated, really he did not imagine if he had to die in a monster realm like this.

"I don't want to die yet, my fans are waiting for the latest adventure chapter and I still want to walk the road abroad."

Ferdian stared in surprise at his partner, "You crazy? At a time like this still thinking about your novel and traveling?! We're not even safe here, Rein!"

Reino raised his shoulders, he nodded. "At least that's a compelling reason to stay alive."

"Yeah, you're right. That's your excuse, bro, then what's my excuse? There's nothing I've waited and expected in my life more than loneliness." Sahut Ferdian bitter.

They walked into the forest, the voice of the gibberish sounded loud, wild birds chirping at each other. Their eyes and ears were alertly preparing for the thing that could have appeared all of a sudden.

"So far there's nothing strange, where's the creature?" Reino kept putting eyes on.

"Don't let your guard down, Rein, I'm sure this monster is watching us. Get your compass out!"

Reino reached into his pocket and opened the compass of the pointer, no suspicious signs yet. But from behind the trees they were unaware of the presence of monsters moving slowly around the two. His eyes were sharp yellowish watching each movement of two couriers by monitoring the body heat energy released by both.

He moved slowly with black feathers that filled his entire body. Meliuk followed the shady trees, peeking out from behind the rock crevices. The Tangkalaluk lurked and prepared to attack the two couriers at the right time.

"It's crazy! Can we call Thomas?! We need help, weapons maybe or .. I don't know something we can use to attack that. I'm sure this one we're dealing with is a huge monster!" Reino was panicked, he dispelled a kind of mosquito that casually alight on his white skin.

"Bring the commando knife? I think that's enough." Ferdian tried to comfort him, though he was unsure of his words.

Reino continued to grumble while occasionally twisting his body, paying attention around.

"Sstt, you can't shut up a little! Who do you think Jojon is, Jane ... ah, what's his name?!"

"John! Yeah, and I miss him now."

Ferdian turned his head by raising both eyebrows, "Hey that's not what he meant! John has the power of scanning the supernatural energy of subtle creatures, his power is good as a, you know..trans ghost!"  Bright Reino fast.

THE KRAAK!!

The two stopped, Ferdian was wary and hinted at Reino to be quiet.

"You hear that?" Ferdian whispered to Reino as their backs touched each other. The two stood back to each other guarding each other.

THE KRAAK!!

The sound of a wooden crack was heard again and this time it sounded louder and louder. 

"Mas, did you hear a subtle hiss?" 

Ferdian nodded softly, "Yes, do you think it's a snake?"

Without them noticing a sinister figure was standing tall in front of the two. Black feathers filled his entire body and left the head part adorned with a beautiful crown. Two long hands that looked more like the braid of bones adorned the top of the dragon-headed snake's body. His yellowish eyes stared nyalang at the two handsome couriers who were now agape at him.

"Oh my God, should we just be spirits?"

"You're right Rein, how can we deal with it? This must be the Demit King's wits!"

A long, deafening scream came out from the terrifying mouth of the snake-like creature. The Tangkalaluk prepared to attack. With one swift movement the creature grabbed Ferdian and Reino with both hands of his bones. His long fingers like the tendrils of thorny trees scratched deeply on the trunks of trees on the right and left of both couriers.

Reino and Ferdian stared in horror at the gaping trail on the tree. Imagine if the fingers hit their bodies.

"Strick, anj***! It could be our satay mas!" Reino cursed while rolling back to avoid the attack of Tangkalaluk.

"What a creature it is, its fur is black like a gorilla but its head looks like a dragon, its body is a snake so. King Candra is smart to choose a collection of monsters, I'll bet this is just one of his weird creatures!" Ferdian jumped back to avoid the strange hand that kept hunting him. 

Not only both hands, the occasional muzzle of a creature consisting of thousands of sharp teeth was also attacking Reino and Ferdian alternately. The teeth are sharp, able to destroy large trees and rocks that are around. The mouth of the Tangkalaluk resembles a deep water animal that always opens with an eerie serrated snout.

"Do something before we get human here!" Reino gasped for breath as they were finally able to hide behind the narrow cave.

"Campret is really demit! We obviously lost!" Ferdian was annoyed, he was almost out of breath because he had to avoid a barrage of attacks.

"We need help, we can't take care of ourselves!"

"Is there anything you need? Mas Reeiiin, Eike came special for jej!"

Ferdian immediately patted his eel, "Oh, come on! Thomas, is there no other help?!"
