Curious Spirit Courier
Heri gave up

"No illusion? So this is all real?" Reino's eyes widened, Malik nodded surely.

The old but young-looking man took a deep breath. "The fate of their deaths is predetermined, Thomas only steals the moment to make the fate of death an excuse to find his successor."

"The family was destined to die in a horrible way. Thomas makes use of that moment to make one of his couriers face the toughest choices in life. Being a guard is not easy. You'll live for years, even thousands."

Malik paused for a moment, staring at the millions of stars that were there at some point. Reino did not even remember the time when he came to that place.

"Ferdian was chosen as the Guardian from the beginning. The blood covenant Ferdian made is different from yours. Thomas didn't pick Rein's indiscriminate people, he had even been monitoring Ferdian for the past few years."

"Wait, is he watching me?" Reino is worried that he will also be made a prospective guard like Ferdian.

"You, I don't know. Are you interested?"

"Me? Big no!"

Malik chuckled at Reino's reply. "No one will be able to become a Guardian, Rein."

Reino fell silent, he could not imagine what would happen to Ferdian next. "It's gonna hurt Ferdi a lot."

"Hmm, at first it was so. But once that happens, Ferdian will be someone very different. Trust me." Malik's hand patted Reino's shoulder slowly.

"Go and meet the Great. Take him to see his father according to his last request."

Malik just left and disappeared. The Old Man still had the special ability that Thomas had given him. There was no other choice for Reino to keep doing his job. He wanted to accompany Agung, the poor boy who was dragged in the twist of his father's destiny.

Ferdian stared at the reunion of the two spirits with his unfilial son with a bored expression. He looked after the three and let them talk. Ferdian was fed up when he saw the cry on Heri's face. How not the tattooed man was like playing for Ferdian.

"Fer, can you forgive me? I know all this time I've been acting inappropriately on you and your family. But can I get a second chance?" Heri begged with pity on Ferdian.

"Did I not hear wrong? Is this just a momentary confession because you're afraid of death?" Ferdian said cynically, not wanting to believe just like that with Heri's confession.

"I know it's going to be hard but can you help me repent?" pinta heri again.

Heri's words made Ferdian gasp, 'repent he said? Did his head just hit a ton of rock?'

"You sure?"

"Very sure!" Heri extended her hands to Ferdian. "Take me to the police station, I'm ready to take responsibility and clear the name of the Great!"

Ferdian was still staring in disbelief at his tattooed cousin.

"Thank you for meeting me with my mom and dad. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to speak to them for the last time. I'm a sinner, Fer! And I want to fix my mistakes before it's too late."

Ferdian took a deep breath, he turned towards John who was nodding faintly. "Alright, come with me to meet someone. John can you keep these two spirits for me?"

"Sure, leave it to me!" John replied in a baritone voice.

"Is this Fer safe?" His face looks pale.

"Safe to me, not to you!" Ferdian replied coldly without expression.

"Hey, what?! Wait don't do .. aaaargh!"

Ferdian doesn't want to waste time. The great must be saved and cleared his name. They walked out of the dimensional door, Heri rolling in pain. His entire body was like being invaded by thousands of sharp needles.

His head ached and ears buzzed, "jerk, sick an**g!"

Ferdian smiled cynically in response to Heri's complaint. This is the second time he has brought a human to jump over dimensions but only Heri is in excruciating pain.

"Kampung thugs! Just got to the cocks!" He squatted on Heri's cheek to regain consciousness. "Shut up here and I'll be right back."

Heri did not respond, the pain in his body was much more agonizing than anything else. He did not answer and continued to groan.

Ferdian walks in search of Aiman, a police figure who helps him deal with Mr. Hadi and Ilham's case. Aiman's figure appears in a white shirt and a police badge hangs around his neck.

"Good day to Aiman!" Ferdian shook Aiman's hand.

"You're this .. We've met, haven't we? A few months ago, right?!" Aiman guessed correctly making Ferdian smile.

"Your intention is strong, yes. Mr Hadi, Inspiration, mysterious murder?" Ferdian.

Aiman snapped a finger, "it's just right! Many questions I want to ask the same mas but, why do I suspect you brought a new case?!"

"Follow me!"

Ferdian walked to one of the quiet corners of the east building, where Heri was still rolling and moaning in pain. Aiman was surprised and looked at Ferdian questioningly.

"Who is he?"

"A killer on Cambodian roads, one family killed and two assistants. Her name is Heri, a village thug who could kill his own parents and two younger siblings."

"What's? But the killer wasn't him. We're still after the killer, a teenage boy."

Ferdian forced Heri to stand up, the young man staggering but still able to speak.

"Bring him in, and ask everything clearly!"

"But, he …,"

Ferdian said quickly, "I'll send you another piece of evidence but in the meantime secure him in the cell. He's the real killer!"

Aiman held Heri's hand firmly, watching her face before. "But what are you …,"

Ferdian just disappeared, Aiman was confused. He was searching for the existence of the mysterious man.

"Where is he, he's gone again! Shit, is he ghost police?"
