1. Valentina

The party was held in a large family-owned building that houses a well-known company in a western country. The girl with a distinctive elegant look; a dazzlingly beautiful face with a blood red iris as sharp as an eagle, sat in the corner of the room with a glass of wine in her hands.

Valentina breathed in boredom. He dodged the crowd as well as various gossip while watching in full detail.

The beautiful girl looked at the mobile phone that popped up an incoming message. He smiled slanted. "Harley's." He called his assistant.

A pink-clad feminine figure stepped closer, then sat down on a chair near Valentina. He saw Valentina's reddish iris that looked very pretty. "Is there any good news?"

"The guy showed up. Looks like there's gonna be an interesting scene." He held up his chin while smiling sweetly.

Harley chuckles. "What can you compare to the incredible Valentina? You're the famous Dark Valentine, that woman can't be compared to you."

Valentina rolled the eyeballs. "I told you not to underestimate anyone."

Harley chuckled, then coaxed the nonanya. "I'll get you 300 years of wine, how?"

Valentina shook her head, then looked at her watch. He smiled widely. "I want to see an old friend." He seemed enthusiastic as he got out of his chair and went out of the party. Harley would not have to follow.

Her red dress was changed to a tight black outfit with various weapons hidden in every inch of clothing. He removed the hairpin, letting his reddish hair break free and wavy like waves.

"Check the eavesdropper and close the security door. We're gonna have fun." Valentina said with Harley at the back who was busy with tablets to carry out the task.

After the tablet screen managed to download all the data and bring up the notification successfully, the smile of the feminine man burst. "Done."

At the same time, shocks in the building began to be felt. Back-to-back explosions rocked the ground and the building to the ground and reduced parts of the building to rubble. The people in it became violent and panicked. They were immediately secured by officers and directed to the evacuation hallway.

Valentina is on the safest side of the building, walking alone leaving Harley checking on security system eavesdroppers. The iron door in front was pushed. He could see the vast terrace on which the helicopter was placed.

His eyes are trying to find someone. A black-clothed figure landed from above another helicopter that flew through the air. She is a woman. The silver-haired lady and the charming blue iris, looked at Valentina with narrowed eyes.

"For a long time no see, Isabella Ellard." Valentina smiled broadly at him. His old friend has changed a lot.

Isabella saw him for a while, then chuckled. "What is the form of greeting for pleasantries?" He grunts. "Unexpectedly, you've become the loyal dog of those people."

"At least I'm not in external influence like your colleagues. Ever since they asked you to kill the Ellard Family, I've resigned. I have no connection with someone who killed his own family."

"And I'm glad I didn't have a relationship with the family dog I destroyed. We come with the same goal, I hope you don't interfere with my duties just because of trivial matters."

Valentina smiled in anguish. "You're a little late."

Just at that moment, an explosion occurred just behind Valentina where she had come out just now. The place became smashed into pieces accompanied by a huge raging flame.

Isabella looked at Valentina and hissed. "You just broke the safe, but I can still get what I want."

"Then, pass me first." Valentina raised her gun and pressed the trigger.

The sound of gunshots rang out as well as streaks filled the area. Valentina went to take cover behind the rubble and occasionally fired a gun in her hand at the target. At the same time, the group that Isabella had brought together surrounded her.

The bomb was released and several weapons released penetrated the body of the group in black. He dashed quickly towards Isabella, then released several coiled knives from her arms to create a powerful splash.

The knives were parried with a dagger. Valentina's general attack was essentially a long-range strike, opposite Isabella. So when Isabella approached, Valentina immediately used a knife-tipped rope from her hand to be attached to the end of the wall that was still intact, then swung her body to the other side while using her gun to shoot at the enemy.

Valentina's gaze was directed at one of the women with his gun who shot at reinforcements brought by Harley. He recognized the woman, then smiled obliquely.

A small object was thrown towards the woman like a scattered marble. The next second, an explosion emerged from the small ball and created a thick smoke. The woman quickly dodged the explosion, then went towards her partner and put on a vigilant stance.

"Where's Bella?" The woman is looking for Isabella because of the fog that keeps them from separating. The man behind her just shook his head slowly.

Without them noticing, another bomb fell right at their feet. The man behind him immediately gave a signal, then pushed the woman out of the blast area before finally the explosion occurred and destroyed everyone.

The woman found Isabella immediately. He jumped at him, blocking some bullets that shot from someone to hit his body.

Valentina on the other hand was silent.

It wasn't he who shot or threw the last bomb, it was somebody else. His gaze was directed at the familiar-looking black figure. The figure simply disappeared like a ghost, making his face paled.

"He ...."

Isabella has been covered in blood. He saw the woman protecting him fall sprawled, then looked at the pensive Valentina. It seems he misunderstood.

"You killed them?" Although only a colleague, Isabella had certain relationships in the past for men and women who had just died, only she lost her memory. Valentina knows everything, but doesn't say it.

Valentina acted as if she was fine and did not deny. "Are they not just your partners? Where you are, you kill each other. It doesn't matter if only one or two people die."

Isabella smiled wryly. "really. You're just an orphan from a crazy family who lost everything."

Valentina's face darkened. "I'm glad I killed your foster parents. You don't know them, but I do. I hope you're alive to get answers."

Isabella looked at him sharply. The killing intent within him began to appear, accompanied by uncontrollable emotions. "And you'll catch up with your family."

They both fight each other. The close combat made Valentina unable to master the battle easily. He should give as much distance as possible and use some hidden weapons to attack.

Isabella is not losing. Since he excelled in close combat, he could precisely give Valentina a deep cut and slam her to the ground.

"Damn!" Valentina grunts. He kicked Isabella and got up before finally using a knife to attack.

"The flag has been. We're on our way." Harley's voice rang out in his ear through the communication link. It made Valentina smile with relief when in the fight.

Valentina looked at Isabella with ridicule. "You're losing." He stabbed Isabella in the stomach.

Isabella grabbed Valentina by the shoulder. He held his feet up high until he hit Valentina's head. The woman staggered while holding her aching head.

"You may win the mission, but you lose the survival." Isabella pulled the knife that stabbed her stomach and let it bleed. He doesn't seem to feel pain.

"It's good to hear it." Valentina responded lightly. "As you say, get together with the family."

Isabella looked at him expressionlessly. He used the same knife to attack Valentina and stabbed her in the chest.

Valentina this time did not fight. He did it intentionally. Isabella was right, she had to catch up with her family. If he had met his family elsewhere, he would have thanked Isabella for killing him.

Slowly his eyes darkened. So dark and silent. He no longer heard or felt anything until he lay in a state of blood.

There was no regret in his heart.

Wouldn't he meet his family?

A pair of blood-red irises were now covered in tears when he saw two familiar figures in the same bed without wearing a single piece of clothing. His gaze sharpened for a moment. A small swipe flashed behind the veil that covered part of his face.

"Honey, don't care about him. Let's just continue." The man spoke hurriedly ignoring the girl at the door who was now sculpting.

The girl walked with wide strides, then pushed the man from the top of the bed and pulled the woman who was her half-sister and slapped him hard.

The sound of slaps echoed, making the atmosphere become silent as the servants arrived.

The man got up after falling out of bed. He took out his robe to wear quickly then turned around slapping the reddish-black disembodied girl.

"Who dare you slap him!"

The girl bowed for a moment holding her reddened cheeks. He looked up, looking at the man with his eyes twinkling. "Why?"

"Why? Don't you realize what you've done!" The man was bluffing with his big bass voice. He embraced the girl by his side, then covered her exposed body with a blanket.

"You think I'm getting engaged to you? Gu Yuena, you are just trash who can only be alone inside the house like a fool and cover your ugly face. I'm even surprised you got out of the house." The man chuckled, looking at the veiled girl from top to bottom with disdain.

Gu Yuena just kept quiet until more and more people arrived. One of the women came into the room. He looks luxurious, but has a look of not wearing that makes anyone reluctant to talk to him.

The woman walked in a hurry, then complained when she saw her daughter who only consisted of a blanket that rolled her entire body like a cocoon. The storm started coming out.

"My poor daughter, what happened to you?" The woman put on a pitiful face while looking at her beautiful daughter's face. He was surprised to see the slap marks on his cheeks, then glanced at Gu Yuena sharply.

Gu Yuena tried to explain. "Mrs .. she—"

Again a slap landed on Gu Yuena's cheek. He was shocked in silence and held his sore cheek, seemingly about to get hurt from being slapped twice.

"Just look at you, I'm sick of it. I've been looking for you all day but it turns out you're here bullying my daughter!"

"Monya—" Gu Yuena tried to defend herself and explained, but the woman continued to interrupt him.

"Basic fucking carrier! It's like this, you still want to fight? Don't know yourself!" The woman was furious as she was while pushing Gu Yuena's body hard to stagger. He turned to the door, then shouted, "servant! Take this fucking carrier out! Punish him with 100 lashes!"

"Mother, there is no need to punish Fourth Brother. Wrong Li'er, Mother, give Fourth Brother some mercy." The girl who rolled up the blanket pleaded with her soft voice.

"Li'er, you're too good. He dares to humiliate you, then he must be punished." The woman said with pity. Then glanced at the man who had been silent since seeing his presence. "You too, why are you still here?" He said with a sharp word while hinting at something.

The man understood and left. Not forgetting to also drag Gu Yuena who was speechless without being able to say anything. She thought Madam Gu would suppress her brash fiance, but her judgment was wrong. He's framed!

"Hey, is he dead?" One of the men put his finger on the woman's nose. He didn't feel any gusts.

Gu Yuena looked at them sharply. The pain in his back made his steps waver and felt weak. He doesn't know what's really going on. He should have been killed by someone, but why would he even be in this place and want to be harassed! All his life, only he had abused someone, not been harassed!

"Fucking bella!" Valentina inside Gu Yuena's body raged in silence. Knowing so, he would rather keep his life than willing to die like an idiot! What spell did that woman use that made her unlucky?

"What do you see? Quickly catch him!" The man who was still crying over his broken future roared in the corner.

The men immediately came forward, thinking that Gu Yuena was severely injured and would not be able to do anything as great as he was. Moreover, Gu Yuena was just trash.

Valentina who saw all the jokes in front of her rolled her eyes. His back was sore and bleeding, plus these idiots were deliberately disturbing, his originally bad mood was getting worse to the point of being unhelpful. I really want to burn this place down.

The men approached to hold him back, Valentina swiftly held one of them down and kicked the other. Valentina's self-defense is very good, but he is in a state of injury that can not maximize strength. He needs a gun.

The men let out a strange light that was completely outside of Valentina's mind. The strange light shot out extremely fast, making an attack towards him. Valentina's instinct says that it is a dangerous object to avoid.

He dodged in time. However, when he twisted his body to dodge, his bleeding back hurt until his steps were smeared. He also fell.

It was more painful to be slammed due to the bomb at that time. That's because his physique is much weaker, so Valentina is really struggling. He found a whip in the corner and took it as a weapon.

With a light movement, the whip swung cunningly and struck them at once. Luckily the room occupied right now was enough for a battle. But not for those idiots who have a number of about 5 people so they have to crimp when fighting.

Valentina swung her whip once more at a higher speed. His steps seemed light when carrying out the attack. The whip that he held possessed a violent manner that could damage the body, supported by Valentina's strength, he managed to kill them in less than a minute.

Lastly, the man in pain in the corner. Valentina looked at him with narrowed eyes, then crouched down while looking at him sharply.

"Who sent you?" Valentina did not remember that she knew this man. There must have been someone who deliberately sent them to kill him. It was not a surprise until it felt invulnerable.

The man was frightened when he saw the woman in front of him as if he had seen a ghost. Right, it seems like the dead Gu Yuena became an evil spirit and now wants to avenge her!

"Punish me! I won't repeat it again. I still have a wife and children. I was just told by Young Master Ye! He's in charge of everything, it has nothing to do with me!" The man kowtowed at the feet of the girl in front of him many times. He still loves life.

Valentina frowned. Young Master Ye? Why have you never heard of it? Is this person surnamed Ye just a pseudonym? Or did he offend others?

Valentina looked at both her hands and clothes. Why are the clothes so weird?

Valentina stayed away from the body, then sat on the bed. There were too many corpses at his feet, he was too lazy to take care of them for the sake of thinking about what had really happened.

He looked at the broken mirror. The mirror reflected his figure that made no difference in a single inch. Only, the woman in the mirror looked much weaker. That upset Valentina.

Dissolved in looking at the cracked mirror, suddenly Valentina's head seemed to have a hard impact to make her fall unconscious at that moment. He fainted, but his consciousness remained. Merely, his consciousness was filled with the memories of someone named Gu Yuena.

Gu Yuena, the name he had always avoided. It was his own real name, yet it was filled with calamity.
