27. Not Searching, but Seeking

Thunder was soothing in the night sky accompanied by rainstorms. The sound of thunder accompanied by lightning bolts in the sky woke up a girl inside the dark room. His two red irises looked towards the window, then pulled the blanket to hide.

The thunder was heard again. The boy jumped out of bed and opened the door while running out of the room. He traced the home corridor with minimal lighting. Since it was already night time, everyone had already slept and turned off the lights.

The boy slightly ran over with his little feet stepping on the white marble floor. The house he lived in was quite large. He opened the door of a room, looking at the quiet dark room inside.

"Mother?" The boy was looking for his mother. There was only his father in the bedroom asleep. The man was unaware of his presence or woke up.

Without closing the door, the boy left. He went down the stairs while circulating the view to see a large deserted house. A man a little older than him slept on the sofa in front of a dead television. That guy must be playing the game late again.

Gu Yuena woke up from a nightmare.
