A pair of open blood red irises. That cold and sharp look looked different from before. One of his eyes turned a pitch-black color as one corner of his lips was pulled upwards forming an evil smile.

The red magic around him gradually mixed with a pitch-black color. It was as if the red color had been contaminated, surrounding it in the air and forming four sparkling red wings.

His look was satisfied. Seeing both of his hands being fed with extremely powerful magic, he laughed smugly at the success of the absorption giving rise to an overwhelming feeling that never happened.

Feelings filled with power and ability. He is much happier and wants to keep getting the same feeling every time.

On the other hand, Bai Youzhe was aware of Gu Yuena's change within the shield she had made. Such a drastic change, even its powerful aura was so pronounced that it made the attacks of the demons pause for a moment.

In Gu Yuena's hand, there was a red object like a crystal chunk. It was a demon bone that was used to gather souls and blood before it was made a sacrifice of 1000 blood. The demon bones glowed as the black fog that brought the blood-red silhouette inside, before finally disappearing just like that.

Bai Youzhe immediately approached Gu Yuena. "Nana, are you okay?"

The difference between Gu Yuena's eyes was very abnormal. Did something happen during the absorption? However, he did not see any disturbing demons around here, or even traces of bloodshed.

Absorption went smoothly, Gu Yuena was fine. But this all feels strange.

He was not surprised to see Gu Yuena use the demon bones to absorb dead demon souls and blood. Merely, Gu Yuena's aura felt like it shouldn't be.

"I mean, if you don't kill me, then I'll kill you." Gu Yuena took out a sword formed from phoenix flames and drew it towards Bai Youzhe.

Bai Youzhe quickly dodged the sword that had almost slashed his neck. Without letting go of the grasp, he switched positions and pulled Gu Yuena to snatch the sword in the woman's hand.

However, Gu Yuena's movements were no less swift. He turned the sword in his hand into a long whip and was violently struck until it gave off a deep red glow.

Avoiding the whip is harder than avoiding the sword. Bai Youzhe was forced to take off her grasp, and keep a safe distance from being hit by a powerful attack that she should not accept carelessly.

Gu Yuena's strength increased by a great deal. Even Bai Youzhe had to be careful of him from going through a misstep and getting into a trap. One strike from Gu Yuena could cause serious injuries, different from the one from the previous.

The whip shrank back into a sword. His face looks cold. His red iris looked empty, but the black iris was filled with killing intent.

"What do you want to do?" Bai Youzhe was surprised that Gu Yuena just attacked him. Let alone hearing the previous remark, Bai Youzhe did not think out.

Gu Yuena did not give him any answers. The woman took out two pairs of wings and flew into the air. After becoming a phoenix, its wings had evolved to become bigger and real. With red feathers and black traces on the end makes it look even more awesome.

Gu Yuena took out the whip blade in the other hand. The long whip that extended downwards as well as the slender sword that was extremely thin and pointed, made it look so different from before.

"If you don't kill, then prepare to be killed." Gu Yuena smiled coldly, then darted towards Bai Youzhe and stomped her whip.

Bai Youzhe managed to dodge within a considerable distance. He disappeared from his place, then appeared near Gu Yuena. He had to make Gu Yuena faint so as not to get dissolved in the battle too far.

However, before Bai Youzhe could grab Gu Yuena, Gu Yuena instantly came to her senses and shook her sword. He had expected it to happen and had prepared a sword. A few flying blades appeared around him in a row of circles, then shot towards Bai Youzhe.

Gu Yuena's wings were flapped, along with both of his weapons being fired towards the opponent. Bai Youzhe felt unable to continue dodging and looking for an opportunity, she started receiving Gu Yuena's attacks with high defense and then attacked her with two swords at once.

Although Gu Yuena's sword technique wasn't that good, he was still able to use it professionally. Coupled with his current strength, he was no different from a sword master. While on the other hand, he was very skilled at controlling whips. To fight Bai Youzhe, he had to bring out all his abilities.

Bai Youzhe also could not underestimate Gu Yuena. If it used to be, Gu Yuena was still easy to handle. Now, however, he had to use his main weapon to fend off the many attacks that appeared in succession. With Gu Yuena ferocious, it would be difficult for her to make Gu Yuena faint without harm.

"Nana, awake!" Bai Youzhe looked at her two eyes fixedly. However, the originally empty gaze had now turned cold again and raised the sword together.

Bai Youzhe stepped aside, unfortunately the sword managed to slash her waist until it bled out.

Gu Yuena broke away from the man and swung her sword. His sword and Bai Youzhe met, while his whip wrapped around Bai Youzhe's second sword.

Bai Youzhe realized the woman had appeared behind him and directly struck the attacking sword. A black fog appeared, heading towards Gu Yuena and would be wrapped around her body like a net.

Spontaneously, Gu Yuena used magic to withstand the black fog. Bai Youzhe's strength in general was still superior. Since Bai Youzhe did not want to hurt Gu Yuena, he did not use a deadly attack that would be difficult to pull back. Don't let anything happen to Gu Yuena.

But it seemed like Bai Youzhe had a lot of sense in her head. He did not want to bother dealing with a phoenix. So letting his dragon consciousness attack and paralyze the phoenix was not going to help. While he went after Gu Yuena.

A dragon and a phoenix were fighting between the flames and lava within the belly of the mountain. If people saw it, they would definitely be stunned.

Gu Yuena used her soul force and magic circle together to carry out the attack. Black fog everywhere, red magic everywhere, attacked Bai Youzhe simultaneously. While Gu Yuena teleported to make a direct attack towards the man to push him into the magic attack planted around the belly of the mountain.

The whip in his hand faced off against Bai Youzhe's two swords. A red light emerged from Gu Yuena's sword, clashing with the black light from Bai Youzhe's sword. Bai Youzhe's movements were faster than Gu Yuena's and always managed to dodge the magic attacks that came out of nowhere along with the whip that continued to be stretched.

That man is hard to handle, Gu Yuena admitted that. However, that doesn't mean his sneaky brain isn't running.

Huh, isn't that man very concerned about his life? He would make it a disaster for Bai Youzhe.

He closed his eyes. The black iris disappeared instantly making her movements stop, while Bai Youzhe slid towards her with a drawn sword.

Bai Youzhe was shocked as Gu Yuena's aura dimmed. He immediately stopped his steps right in front of the woman. Unfortunately, Gu Yuena's instinct was to react quickly to danger and directly use her sword to slash anything around.

However, when the sword had almost slashed down Bai Youzhe's neck, her hand was floating in the air in a stiff state. His pupils shrunk, looking surprised.

"Bai Youzhe?" He was confused for a moment, then took off the sword in his hand just like that.—including the whip. The sword disappeared in the air along with all the attacks aimed at Bai Youzhe.

Gu Yuena was confused as to why he had suddenly woken up. In the next instant, his chest felt an immense pain that made him spit out blood. It was a reaction of soul force that had just been used.

Bai Youzhe was worried. He immediately grabbed Gu Yuena, but Gu Yuena actually retreated in a state of chaos.

"What's going on?" Gu Yuena did not remember anything. He held his sick head.

Bai Youzhe on the other hand was increasingly convinced that Gu Yuena had controlled other things.

"I want to kill you." Gu Yuena muttered, then laughed mutely. His aching head gave an idea of what had just happened. That surprised. The fact that he almost killed Bai Youzhe.

Bai Youzhe wanted to calm Gu Yuena down, but the woman continued to move away from her with a feeling of fear. It made Bai Youzhe uneasy.

"Nana—"

"What if I kill you?" Gu Yuena was worried.

"That's not gonna happen." Bai Youzhe tried to convince Gu Yuena. "That's not you."

Gu Yuena felt furstrated. "You don't know ...." That was him. That woman is him! Knowing that he wanted to kill Bai Youzhe, he was made to be afraid by himself.

The more he feared, Bai Youzhe did not resist when he was about to kill him. Gu Yuena was scared, when she came to her senses, her hands were already covered in blood.

There was shock in the woman's eyes, but also a chill. It seemed like the pressure Gu Yuena was going through shook her so much.

Gu Yuena took off the hug forcefully. Between conscious or unconscious, he keeps trying to escape. However, Bai Youzhe did not let him go.

"Take me off!" gu Yuena shouted as she tried to push Bai Youzhe away. He could not use his spiritual power for no reason.

Bai Youzhe was just about to close Gu Yuena's point of consciousness, but Gu Yuena suddenly used a hypnotism from her gaze so as to make Bai Youzhe stop.

Aware of something messing with his mind, Bai Youzhe closed her eyes avoiding Gu Yuena's gaze. Gu Yuena took the opportunity to escape.

The sword that Bai Youzhe had captured earlier came back. Gu Yuena brandished the sword in front of him. However, when he took a few steps back, he realized the presence of someone.

Gu Yuena slashed her sword just like that back. The person instantly retreated, dealing with the pressure from the sword before finally returning to where it was originally.
