44. The Solo Vs Squad

The three youths attacked fiercely. Fang Shu and Han Jie were both hunters, whereas Jun Mo was a land-type guardian. It was obvious the three of them had an absolute advantage that could suppress Gu Yue as a mage who had a weak physique. Not to mention with the help of Lin Susu as a summoner.

It was certain, Gu Yue would be battered right then and there.

Two sword blades and a wisp of stone snatched simultaneously. A burst of flames shot out from Fang Shu's sword, engulfing everything swiftly. Whereas on the other hand, Han Jie had wind elements that supported Fang Shu's fire to become bigger.

The combination of those two forces caused such a fierce explosive attack, even an ordinary person would not be able to withstand it even in just a few seconds.

Jun Mo on the other hand used his defense to prepare to block Gu Yue's attack. Unfortunately, the boy was nowhere to be seen moving from his place.

Or not even flinching.

It was like seeing a magic show.

Upset had been ignored, they instantly launched an attack right then and there. Their attack managed to make Gu Yuena react. He leaped up agilely, then disappeared from his spot and reappeared on the other side that was spared from the attack.

The combination of Fang Shu and Han Jie was extremely powerful, barely surpassing even ordinary level 5 cultivators. They basically had a peak tier 5 cultivation, going to break through to tier 6 in some time. They deserved to boast in the outer courtyard where the weak disciples were.

"Ck, stupid." Fang Shu clucked. Fire is the field. Gu Yue using fire as power was like killing herself!

Gu Yuena floated in the air with a splinter of qi under her feet. Her red irises that looked like flames looked at them sharply, before finally a smile appeared on her lips.

"That's all?" Gu Yuena chuckled. "A few minutes have passed, are you so weak?"

"You ...." Fang Shu had barely gone berserk if Han Jie had not calmed down. The three of them were extremely annoyed at the person hovering up there with an arrogant face.

"Gu Yue, is that all you have?" Jun Mo snorted in annoyance. Gu Yue could say that.

Gu Yuena put on a thinking face. "How, huh? Actually not only this, but I think there's no need to waste a lot of my energy to deal with some mice."

Lin Susu led the three men to attack Gu Yuena. The fireball that was previously deployed, was returned to its origin so as not to spoil the plan.

With a flying monster and Lin Susu in the lead, they increasingly believed that victory was in sight.

Both main attacks—Fang Shu and Han Jie— attacked directly in the front row. Jun Mo followed as the guardian who would receive Gu Yuena's attack later, while Lin Susu used the sky attack.

Gu Yuena released a fragment of qi at his feet to attack the three people. According to him, that alone was enough to trouble them. The main problem was in the flying monsters that Lin Susu was stepping on.

He leaped into the air and restrained his body using qi. With a fire whip in his hand, a shock that sounded so terrifying echoed as the whip hit the monster-shaped attack of pointy feathers that stockpiled up.

The monster shrieked loudly, placing emphasis on Gu Yuena. Even the three young men trembled when they heard the monster screech.

"Stop him!" Lin Susu was gunny with an evil tone. He did not believe Gu Yue would win against her level 6 monster.

Countless attacks continued to emerge from the monster. The field of fire that Gu Yuena had created had now been extinguished replaced with a clearness and mound of earth that fused with the sharp shard of monster feathers. The monster was sometimes about to use its claws to catch Gu Yuena, but Gu Yuena's movements were so slippery that the monster could not catch her.

No longer using the whip, Gu Yuena replaced it with a sword. The fiery sword was as red as blood and filled with the burning heat of flames, burning whatever touched it.

When the sword collided with Han Jie's sword, the man immediately retreated from the pressure before finally switching against Fang Shu. Gu Yuena was as far away as possible to make magic attacks, but Jun Mo continuously blocked his path.

Just a few simple attacks, yet in a cruel and brutal manner that targeted the weaknesses directly.

Now, only level 6 monsters had any hope of caving Gu Yuena.

Gu Yuena looked at the pensive Lin Susu thinking about her broken hair. He said, "Do you still want to continue? Or want to give up?"
