Daydreams

Daydreams
A. SEOUL - 13

Lee Umji made his bed. He also tidied up his apartment. Holidays make time. Although not to the office, he still had to translate several manuscripts while editing some parts of the chapter that felt less fitting.

Unlike weekdays, Umji wakes up at eight in the morning. When I finished washing the dishes, the sound of the apartment bell rang. He immediately took off the apron he was wearing and walked towards the door.

"Mino?" umji said with raised eyebrows to see the man coming.

Umji recalled that the last time he met Mino was when Mr. Janghyuk told about him returning to Seoul for business with Jini. Honestly, he felt so strange about the situation. What the surrounding people said started to confuse him.

"Do I bother you?" ask Mino.

"Oh no, let's go in."

Mino steps in while watching Umji's apartment. He sat on the sofa in front of the television, followed by Umji sitting next to him.

"Sheer looks, right?" umji said he realized Mino's eyes.

Mino chuckles. "Yes, how are you?"

Umji sniffed his shoulders. "I'm good, it's just .. Do you remember what Mr. Janghyuk said? I'm really confused. I want to confirm to Jini that I know is in Busan for her brother's wedding."

"Oh that way, you don't have to think too much about Mr. Janghyuk's words" Mino said calmly.

"Kim Hana," cried Umji made Mino's eyes wide.

"That's the name of Mr. Janghyuk's friend's wife isn't it? I don't know why it sounds familiar" Umji continued.

Mino looked at Umji intently. Just like Umji was looking at her with a blank mind.

Mino from the sofa then headed for Umji's desk by the window.

"I haven't done that part yet" Umji turned to look at Mino who was standing in front of the board.

"You haven't deleted it?" tanya Mino looked at the whiteboard that still depicted the structure of the company.

"I didn't wear it so I let it go" said Umji, moving closer to Mino.

Mino turns to Umji's desk. His eyes narrowed as both of his hands seemed to be sifting through some of the stacked novel scripts.

Umji himself accidentally switched to staring at himself through the glass attached to the wall. He could watch his face at this moment, then slowly take a deep breath.

"Here," muttered Mino making Umji turn to look at the man.

Umji can see Mino picking up a novel script that is no stranger to him. His eyes rounded and walked closer to the back of the table, beside Mino.

"Wouldn't this be on Jini. He said he would judge it," Umji said reading the title of the novel All About You.

His memory then returned when before the coma, where he who was in Japan at that time got a call from Jini that the script of All About You is incomplete.

Akira!

"What when I was found drowning, was there a man?" ask Umji. He imagined the figure of Akira who invited him out when the incident drowned.

Mino. But his forehead was cringing. "You yourself. The police in Japan are coordinating with the embassy who called me. I happen to have a friend who works for the Korean ambassador in Japan."

"Oh so. Do you remember when you took me to Tokyo Tower? I said that I had an appointment with a friend and he .. named Akira. A man," Umji's story is honest with Mino.

"A man?"

"That's not important now. To be honest, what I'm concerned about is how this script is here. I never gave my apartment password to Jini or anyone else...."

A flashback to Umji's memory reappears. He remembered how he woke up from a coma before drowning in the Sumida River. When he came home from Busan to return to work at the apartment, he did not know the password to enter his apartment. To confirm that he is the owner of the apartment, he asks Mino for help.

Umji looked at Mino. "Even when you helped reset the password. Only I did and I chose my date of birth, because when I came home to Seoul I just celebrated my birthday in Busan."

"Mino.." -...."

"Yes?" mino Sahut.

"Is there anyone who can ... claim to be me?" tanya Umji looked over.

Mino's eyes are rounded. His body stiffened a little. He patted the woman's shoulder.

"Where possible," replied Mino slightly chuckling.

Umji shook his head slowly. "Absolutely, I can't remember that I returned from Japan to Korea. How come? I must have been in a coma by then. How ... what if what Mr. Janghyuk sees is ... Kim Hana's?"

Mino gulps at the words of Umji. His eyes glanced around the contents of the apartment as if thinking about what Umji said.

"But if it's true, what Kim Hana might not know you or you know her for?" mino rejected Umji's theory.

"Mino ... To be honest with me, I dreamed of something strange all this time," Umji replied then moved on and sat back on the sofa.

Mino followed Umji to sit down. "What kind of dream?"

"I ... as if to see Kim Hana's life. I thought when I first dreamed about a woman named Kim Hana then it was just an ordinary sleeping flower. Then a few nights later I dreamt of it again, Jun's name also appeared, although Jun's face seemed covered by a flash of light," Umji's story made Mino stunned.

Umji looked up at Mino. "Why, I feel like I know a Kim Hana. The opposite is true."
