The night after dinner, I chatted with Bi Karti in the living room while watching television. Until the time the clock shows at 9 pm drowsiness began to rule me.
I also decided to sleep. I stepped into the room, and Bi Karti brought the used glass of milk that I drank into the kitchen.
Just then the bell rang. I walked over to the intercom to see who was coming. I saw a bouquet of flowers carried by someone. His face was invisible because it was covered in a very large bouquet of flowers.
"Who?" My toot.
"There's a package delivery, Ma'am." Sahut that man.
"Let aunty look outside, ma'am." Bi Karti had just walked over from the kitchen.
"Let me, Bi. Auntie just kept washing the dishes." My antagon.
I went to the door and opened it, and walked to the gate and opened it. I saw Mas Rey's car parked outside the gate.
'Kok, Mas Rey's car?' my question is in my heart. I was angry but found him nowhere.
Then my gaze was fixed on the person carrying the enormous bouquet of flowers, his face still covered in the bouquet. I noticed the shoes and pants that the man was wearing, and I knew him immediately.
"Mas Rey?" I'm not sure, shouldn't Mas Rey be with Aunt Manda now?
The man shifted the flowers he was carrying so that I could see towards his face.
"Surprise!" The screech. Sure enough, Mas Rey turned out to be the one carrying the huge bouquet of red roses.
Suddenly I ran to him, put my hand on his neck, and hugged him tightly. I still can't believe my husband is standing in front of me.
I took my body away from her. "Mas, how come you get here? They should be the same..."
Rey cut me off. "It's for you." The flowers were placed on me.
"Yes..." I was also stunned to receive such a sudden romantic treatment. Both corners of my lips I can't stand to not lift up. "Thank you..."
"Together, my dear." He kissed my forehead slowly. "Just get in the car first."
He walked to his car and a moment later the car was in the garage. I walked over to Mas Rey who just came out of the steering door.
"Why did you come home here? 'it should be late again with Aunt Manda."
Rey took over the bouquet. "Here is Bawain. Heavy huh?"
"Lumayan. Very big indeed Mas bouquet of flowers" Sahutku. He took the bouquet with his left hand, and his right hand held my hand, and took me to the back of his car. Then he opened the trunk and I was immediately stunned to see many paper bags inside.
"Purchase you some clothes and others, you'll see for yourself." I was back stunned. We also entered the house through the garage door with hands full of various paperbags from several famous fashion brands.
"Bi Karti, please enter the vase yes flowers. Keep it at the dinner table first." Mas Rey handed the bouquet to Bi Karti.
"Good, Sir." Bi Karti Sahut.
Rey took me into our room. When the door closed Mas Rey just kissed me wildly, making the questions that popped up in my mind forced me to hold on first and willingly let it devour me.
After getting the release, we took a shower together. Then after that Mas Rey dries my hair with a hair dryer. I sat in front of the dresser and stared at the reflection of Mas Rey's face from the mirror. His face looked more handsome with his hair still wet. I was confused by myself, why my heart was still pounding when I saw how handsome my husband was.
I secretly looked at his face too. He seemed happy and his thin smile never faded even since he came to bring me various gifts.
"Yes..." Call me.
"Why, Honey?" He glanced at me from the mirror.
"Mas hasn't answered my question. Why did you come home? It should be tomorrow. How's Aunt Manda?" I asked very curious.
His smile is getting bigger. "Mas again wants to be with you. You don't like coming home?"
I looked towards him. "I don't like it, but I shouldn't." I'm afraid Aunt Manda will feel unfairly treated and mess up the deal we agreed to at that time.
Mas Rey turned off the hair dryer, and my hair had dried. He nodded and kissed me again. Long enough and deep.
Mas Rey chuckles. "Yes, it's tomorrow again."
Then he picked me up and laid me on the bed. He crossed me and then lay down beside me, put my head on his arm and grabbed me.
"Mas," I began to get irritated, my lips advancing about an inch. "I didn't answer that earlier."
Rey smiled with anxiety. "So I answered, I want you. I miss Mas's wife and the same one in here." He touched my stomach and rubbed it.
"But how's Aunt Manda? What if he's angry?"
"He has his friend."
A fella? Wh who?
"Yes..." I thought for a moment. "There's a Aunt Manda's friend who's nginep?"
"Yes. So I just go home."
I'm silent not too sure. Just strange. Why would Aunt Manda let someone stay over when Mas Rey should have gone home?
"Manda Aunt isn't angry?" My toot.
"No. He was even. I guess after this Mas won't stay with Manda anymore."
Suddenly I sat down and looked at Mas Rey in disbelief. "What do you mean? Won't you stay with Aunt Manda again? Meanin?"
"Because he already has something cool, so Mas will not nemenin Manda again."
My forehead shriveled further, my two eyebrows were united. "You know what I really am, Mom? Why are you talking like that? Who is Aunt Manda's friend?" Selorohku is so curious.
Mas Rey got up from her position and looked at me, then smiled wryly. "The Nemenin Manda is now the father of the baby Manda is born."
Huh huh?
My ears are hearing wrong. "What-what did Mas say?"
"You're not wrong, honey." Rey is convincing.
"The father of that baby Aunt Manda was born with?" My master was completely dumbfounded. "Do you know the man who made Aunt Manda pregnant?"
Rey nodded for sure. "When I met that guy."
Suddenly my heart was filled with relief, happiness, and completely unexpected. I focused my eyes on Mas Rey. "Who is that man? Do you know? Or someone else who doesn't know who? How could you know? From where?" I am so impatient again.
Rey laughed when she heard me so curious. He took my hand. "Mas knows the guy. But maybe Mas can't tell you now."
Immediately I was disappointed. "Why? Why can't you?"
"Tomorrow Mas will meet Thomas Akagi. I'll talk to him first and finish it all. Only then will I tell you. Just be patient."
My face was pouting, I couldn't help but stifle this curiosity of mine. "Mas that is. I'm curious. I want to know, Mom! Please tell me who I am." I can't wait, I want to know everything.
Mas Rey touched my cheek and rubbed it. "Patience for a moment. You'll soon know who the father of the baby Manda was born with. What you should be thinking now is that you can prove that you are not lying. The baby that Manda conceived was not Mas's child. The man had admitted that all the babies Manda conceived were his children, and Mas already had the proof."
I also hugged him. "I'm sorry because I'm doubting you."
"That's all over, honey. The important thing is that you can believe again the same Mas, even before Mas can prove everything. Thanks yeah. And I knew it must be hard." Rey grabbed me back. "Now there is one more. I have to see Thomas Akagi."
I also removed my grip on his body. "Mas still got to see him? Don't you have any evidence? The man had admitted that he was the father of the baby Aunt Manda was born with. That's solid evidence, Mom."
Mas Rey shook her head. "The man's testimony is indeed strong evidence that Mas did not impregnate Manda, but does not prove that Mas did not do it with Manda." Rey is back to scooping both cheeks. "Mas will prove, Mas did absolutely nothing at the time when Manda brought Mas at that time."
I don't think I need that evidence anymore. Now that I don't know the evidence that Mas Rey holds, I can trust her with all my heart.
However, Mas Rey is right, revealing all the cunning Aunt Manda down to the roots still has to be done. Aunt Manda must get rewarded for what she did.
