Destiny Gintani

Destiny Gintani
Half Soul

It was a very difficult decision for Heru. But somehow, his heart was so heavy that he had to lose the woman. Finally, Heru decided to save her mother. Not .... does not mean he does not care about the fate of the child. What should he do if he decides to save the child. Can the child survive without a mother? And what should he do with the boy? There was no way he would take care of the child alone, and it was even more impossible if he had to send the child to an orphanage. That's why Heru chose to save his mother.

After making a difficult decision. I don't know why Heru's legs feel so limp. There was a feeling of guilt running through his heart. He was like a murderer, who could have killed the child before he was born into the world. Tears began to pool in both corners of Heru's eyes.

With a gontai step, Heru approached the waiting bench and sat there. His mind was completely empty. Oh my God .. What am I doing? Is this really my decision? What if the woman asks about her child? What should I answer?

Heru looks pretty fucked up. He was no longer able to think clearly. His brain was dead-end to answer all the questions that kept passing through his mind.

Meanwhile in the operating room.

"How is this, Doc? The patient has lost a lot of blood. Who are we going to save first?" ask a senior midwife who accompanies an obstetrician who is handling Gintani.

"What did her husband say, Sus?" The doctor asked the nurse.

"Wife, Doc!" answer the nurse.

"Well, we focus on his mother. However, as much as possible we should also try to save the baby" the doctor ordered.

"But the expectations are slim, Doc," argued the senior midwife.

"Maximum! Do your best!" firmly the obstetrician.

They were also busy following up on Gintani's delivery.

An hour and a half later, the baby girl was successfully removed. There is no crying from a baby who only weighs 1.7 kg. Yes, Gintani's gestational age is only 7 months, therefore she gave birth prematurely.

"How is he doing?" ask the obstetrician to the senior midwife who was holding the poor baby.

"His heart rate is gone, Doc" replied the senior midwife.

"Innalillahi wa inna ilaihi. Yeah, you took that poor baby out. Who knows his father wants to see his daughter for the first and last time" the doctor ordered.

The Aki Surya's house.

Argha began to fall asleep in the lap of Nin Ifah. Shalawat the lullaby that her grandmother always chanted, made Argha's heart feel a little calm. Unknowingly, he began to fall into his dream.

Slowly Argha opened his heavy eyes. When his consciousness was perfect, he saw a little girl in white clothes standing before him.

"Father!" The little girl called him.

Argha. However, as he approached her, the little girl took a few steps back. A moment later, he turned his body and ran towards a light that dazzled Argha's eyes.

Argha. He opened his eyes and found himself still in the room. Argha looked up, he saw his grandmother leaning on the bed hardboard while closing her eyes. Slowly, Argha got up. She did not want her grandmother to wake up because she felt her movements.

Argha went to the bathroom to clean himself up. For a moment, he stared at his face in the mirror that was attached behind the bathroom door. His mind wandered back to his strange dream. What does all this mean, Argha thought. Long thought of making his head hurt. "Maybe it's just my emotional influence from meeting that woman" murmured Argha.

To eliminate the feeling of heaviness in his head, Argha also flushed part of his body with cold mountain water.

In the hospital.

After getting an order from the doctor, the nurse took baby Gintani to see the man they thought was her real father.

"Please Sir, maybe you want to see your daughter for the first and last time" the nurse approached Heru.

"I'm sorry, sir. In fact, we've been trying our best. But God wants something else. Looks like your daughter's dead in the womb. He was born prematurely, sir," replied the nurse.

"Then his mother?" ask Heru.

"Alhamdulillah, his mother survived. The doctor still handles it inside. He lost a lot of blood" the nurse replied.

Heru's body grew increasingly weak to hear the two bad news. It seemed, half of his soul was lost when he saw the silent baby in the nurse's lap.

Seeing the baby's lips turn blue, suddenly Heru's fatherly instinct appeared. Baby needs warmth, and here ... The air conditioner in this room is on, the temperature is not good for babies who are born prematurely, Heru thought.

"Where's the baby's room, Sus?" asked Heru with trembling lips.

"What do you want?" The nurse asked in confusion.

"Please tell me where the room is to care for babies who are born prematurely" Heru repeated his question.

The nurse frowned at Heru's question.

"What are you going to do with that room?" ask the nurse again.

"This kid needs warmth, Sus. He was born prematurely" answered Heru.

"Astagfirullahaladzim .. Your daughter is dead. Please be patient, sir," said the nurse.

"SAY WHERE THE ROOM IS!"

The nurse was very surprised to hear the screams of Heru. Finally he showed me the sterile room where the babies were taken care of after birth.

Heru immediately snatched the child from the nurse's hands. Although she was a bit awkward holding him, considering this was the first time she held a baby. However, Heru swiftly brought the baby into the nursery. He ignored the call of the nurse who forbade him.

Brak!

Heru opened the door of the room using his feet. All the nurses who were on guard, were so shocked to hear a loud noise from the direction of the door.

"Hey, what are you la–"

The nurse's words stopped when she saw Heru putting the baby in the box. A moment later he saw Heru open his shirt until he was half naked.

Heru took the poor baby. She then held the baby in her chest. Protect him with both hands. While humming Heru continued to hold tightly to the little baby.

It was so hard to see the affection of my father for his son. The nurse who was about to reprimand Heru covered the baby and Heru's body with a thick blanket.

Heru looked at her as an expression of gratitude. A moment later he walked to and fro. Both hands are still clutching tightly to the baby's tiny body. A few minutes have passed.

The nurse approached Heru. "Already Sir, your efforts will only be in vain. Your daughter is dead" said the nurse, extending her hand to retrieve the baby.

Heru unmoved. He still hoped that there would be a miracle happening today. Suddenly, Heru's facial expression changed.

"I feel it ... I-I feel it, Sus!"
