Chapter 15: Pig and Nobles Part 2

Feelings of doubt approached me upon arrival at the headmaster's office door. The beauty of the large door decorated with various patterns of leaves and branches of large trees really can not match my anxiety to step inside there.

A long breath began to strengthen me to face Master inside. But before I knocked on the door, Mr. Gareth suddenly came out of the door and greeted me who was just standing staring at the door.

“You've arrived, sir? Come in,” he said.

The smile she gave seemed to be aimed at calming down myself who was feeling anxious and hesitant to step inside.

With all the coercion I finally stepped in there. In the neatly arranged room filled with books, Master was staring at me from the long sofa by the window holding the tea cup in his right hand.

“Why are you daydreaming at the door like a fool?” guru Sayang.

“To be honest, I feel hesitant to meet you Guru.”

A small smile began to adorn the face of Master. “It looks like you know what your mistake is, huh?”

"Is it because I tried to abuse your power?” ask me a little doubt.

The teacher squinted his eyes looking like he didn't understand what I meant. “What use?”

It seems like Master didn't know about anything that happened in the classroom. Then with what reason did Master suddenly call me in a serious tone using telepathy?

“If you may ask, why did you call me Teacher. I thought you knew what happened in class earlier so it made me a little anxious.”

He did not answer me immediately, slowly he placed the teacup he was holding on the table in front of him and stared at me. “I can't know what you've been through .. but I can tell if something wearing hasn't happened to you.”

The teacher who had been listening to my story began to glance at Mr. Gareth for a moment. Mr. Gareth simply returned the gaze from Master with a small smile accompanied by a nod of his head.

After receiving confirmation from Mr. Gareth, Master started looking back at me. “I understand why you did that, you didn't even do anything wrong by meddling in their affairs ..” Master was silent for a while before continuing his words.

Now Master put on a very serious face. “But you made one mistake,” he continued.

I don't really understand what Master wants me to mean. “What do you mean Teacher?”

“You may not get into trouble because I take care of you, nor do you need to apologize for trying to use me. That's exactly what you need to do because you're my student. But you forgot something bigger than that. You forgot the people you were involved with.”

Hearing Master's words made my heart stop beating for a moment. I'm not too sure what he's going to say but look at the look on his face. I don't think Master is trying to scare me, he's serious about what he's saying.

“Can you explain?”

Master Gareth who was watching us from beside the sofa where Master was sitting started to close his eyes. Teacher also let out a long breath before speaking to me. “Nobility habit ...” he said softly.

I don't understand what he's trying to say. “Noble customs?” I repeated the words of Master.

“The habits of those nobles will trouble you. They won't let go of the person who bothers them. For you ... You'll be safe, but how is your friend? If they fail to come after you. They will turn their attention to the people around you.”

Cold sweat started to wash over me. I really don't think that far. Stupidly I move so barbarically without caring for the people around me as a matter of consideration.

“Tan easy, Sir. I'll try to help you. Considering this is also our duty as teachers in the academy, I am honestly a little embarrassed for letting the bullying happen in the academy for so long. Think of this as a sign of apology from me and every teacher in the academy.” said Mr. Gareth.

Hearing her words made me a little calmer. I who had been standing up earlier began to decide to sit on the sofa that was in front of the two of them.

“Thank you ..” I told Mr. Gareth.

“But there are things I need to remind you Sir. I can't help much if you're outside the academy because it's beyond our responsibility. So I hope you can take care of yourself and your friends when you are outside the academy.” said Mr. Gareth.

“What, your help really means. Once again thank you.” I bowed my body to thank him.

I watched Master unceasingly take out that serious face. “What is Teacher?” manya curious.

“You must hide your strength in front of the other disciples. Since you're now registering as a swordman, you better not rely too much on magic. Teacher smiled at me. “That's what you're supposed to do.”

After being warned by both of them. I finally went back to class before the afternoon class started. During the journey I kept thinking about what Master and Master Gareth had said earlier.

I understand how serious this situation is. Although this only looks like an ordinary children's fight, but people who have power will always try to dictate the people they consider to be under them.

The teacher couldn't do much either, he could have eliminated everything related to the Albert family with the blink of an eye. But it was the worst choice for all of us.

The classroom had started to look crowded by the students who had finished their break. It seemed like all my daydreams on the way left me unaware that I had reached class.

Viona who was with Kevin and Tristan was waving at me from the table where I was sitting. “Deron! Here .”

I move towards them while smiling. They look so cheerful, it seems as long as I'm not around they've had a little chat and become closer. Who would have guessed if this delightful scene had a storm haunting them behind it.

“Sorry. Have you been waiting a long time?” ask me when I get to their place.

“Well, not that long either, but more importantly, try sitting here. We want to be clear about what you should know about martial arts,” said Viona while pulling me to sit.

They explained a few things to me, like the pattern of the exercises I was going through, the nutritional intake that I must pay attention to to help my muscle development and also rest patterns are no less important in building myself when wanting to become a martial artist.

I am so grateful to have met such good people. All this further strengthens me to be able to keep them from all the possibilities that will threaten them in the future.

I won't let anyone hurt these people. Nah! Even I will not let anyone disturb the peace that exists in this world and make good people like them hurt by it.

With my determination already unanimous I finally found a purpose for me. If all this time I just live my life by following the steps of others. Now I have found my own purpose, a goal that will help me to develop as a human being.

“How? What do you not understand?” Kevin asked me.

“I already understand what to do now.” I replied.

“Good, as expected of the person who set a record.” Viona embraced me with a smile on her face.

We started joking around afterwards, an experience I had never experienced while living in the forest. This is all really fun. Hanging out and joking around with peers is really fun.

Without us knowing it turns out time has shown at 2 pm. It was time for us to go to the training room at the academy to get some learning to become a martial arts expert.

I don't want to be late on my first day of classes. We immediately went to the training room located behind the main building of the academy. The room inside the multi-purpose building was built specifically for the disciples who chose to become a martial arts expert.

There are a lot of facilities there. From the training room used for sparing, equestrian field, running track, archery area, swimming pool, etc, gyms and armories make the building a place that can help anyone who walks on the road of martial arts train to the maximum.

It seems that Viona is not exaggerating about the completeness in this building. A few dumbbells and a large courtyard from the dorm alone could not compare to this place.

This was heaven for everyone who wanted to practice martial arts. I can't wait to receive my martial arts training in there. It felt like the feeling of doubt that enveloped me from never practicing martial arts had disappeared instantly after seeing all of this.

I don't know how hard the training I got there. At least I can enjoy the process as long as I'm as excited as I am now. Looks like luck has always been on my side since that winter night 3 years ago. Thank God for giving a useless child like me a chance like this.
